There they go again, federal experts changing their minds on more health guidelines. Masks, no masks, two weeks of lock-down, well, no, maybe two months, yada yada yada. How can anyone keep up, especially if they’re old and feeble like our current president? This time the new federal advice is about aspirin, the world’s most widely-used drug. You know how since 2016 you should take one aspirin tablet a day to prevent heart disease, the nation’s and even the world’s top killer? Around 30 million Americans pop one of them daily, me included. Well, forget it. A government-backed advisory board just

Well my doctor states it's still ok to take an aspirin, but he added that since I have no underlying heart issues, taking it everyday probably isn't really needed. So I've reduced it down to two to three times a week.

Follow the science. Back when the earth was flat, things were a lot better. Oceans were cold, but only as a precursor to an ice age. That turned to warming in just a few short years. Now, it’s hot and even though we still have a spherical planet, it will be flat once again. That is, if it is not hit by a meteor. The only real truth is that the moon is made of cheese.

The people being told to stop are those taking the aspirin to prevent their FIRST heart attack or stroke. Those of us who have been taking it to reduce the chances of second or third (or more) should keep taking it. And those on aspirin as a follow-up to surgery. Either way, patients should consult their surgeon or cardiologist for guidance, not a web news story. Some of us are on multiple anti-coagulants after multiple incidents and procedures.

So the medical community was wrong about low dose aspirin, but has total confidence in an experimental vaccine whose efficacy and side effects are barely known.

No, you can’t take aspirin! That’s an OTC medication, like Ivermectin paste! Take this proprietary patented blood thinner prescribed by a doctor instead. Sure, it does exactly the same as aspirin, but it has a cool name and makes us billions of dollars a year.

I'm wondering......it posted somewhere recently that a baby aspirin daily helps fight COVID....was that a preemptive reply to this statement.....or is this statement a reply to aspirin can fight COVID. Maybe it actually causes internal bleeding in SOME cases. Either way, I'll keep taking mine.

Medical Science’s position on aspirin continues to evolve since the first written records on it were made in 1550 BC. The genetic modification “Jab” that was first tested on humans less than a year ago is scientifically solid that all the reports of blood clots, heart ailments, and death are so irrelevant that they actively obscure collection of those aspects. Apparently you are really stupid if you think for yourself instead of letting Fauci think for you, like all the smart people do.

My physician told me that if I ever tested positive for COVID to take an aspirin daily because of the potential for clotting. And now the feds are telling us the opposite. Leftism achieves the exact opposite of its stated intent. Current rule of thumb: Do the opposite of whatever the current regime tells you.

The article is good and entertaining...but I did not hear him mention the NEW study that indicates 80mg aspirin can benefit in the fight against the virus...for the same reasons it helps against clots in strokes and hearts. As soon as the study was aired and people started reading it, this new warning comes out of the cdc agency. The govt agencies simply do not want us using anything except the vaxx which produces a bunch of clots....that is what this new directive is about. I do not intend to comply.

First you say you will, and then you won't. You're undecided now, what are you going to do? You left out coffee bad, then coffee good. You left out that beef will kill us all because of global warming. You left out we will have free power because of solar panels and wind farms. you left out how it will be so wonderful to pay $10/liter for gas, until gas engines are no longer allowed. You left out that we must all have electric vehicles, although there are no batteries for them, and no electricity to charge them. You left out that children belong to the State, and we are not to interfere in their education. You left out that we are wrong to worry about borders, as all the immigrants are really good people, although they have not been checked. They don't have to be vaccinated. Against anything. And they can spread disease; they have CDC permission to do this. And Mayorkas does not want to hurt them, as they are HIS people. You left out that a $3.5 TRILLION spending bill will cost nothing. You left out that the drooling dementoid who pretends to be our President has no clue about what he is doing or saying. Oh, well.

Aspirin in some form has been around since forever, but the big pharma can't make any money off of it so it is an evil drug. I am on blood thinners and I am told I can't take aspirin.... or aleve or ibuprofen just tylenol which does NOTHING for me. I take aspirin carefully and not very often, but when I have a headache or severe joint pain, I will take a pain reliever. So far there has been no interaction between the drugs. One tenet of being a doctor used to be "do no harm" and as long as an aspirin a day does no harm and may do some good, what is the problem???

What is curious to me is that this comes out right on the heels of a report saying that aspirin can be used to treat Covid. I do not know what the intent is of this being published now, but I no longer believe in coincidence. I'm old enough the remember the alarm about global cooling, how AIDS would become a heterosexual disease (thanks "Dr." Fauci), how the first shingles vaccine was "completely safe," how swine flu was going to kill millions, how eggs raised your cholesterol (oh, never mind), how statins were the greatest thing since pockets on overalls, and everything that #1 listed. I've also witnessed how "normal" blood pressure and cholesterol readings have slowly dropped over the years, so more and more people have to take medications. Finally, I remember when Biteme promised there would be no vaccine mandate. It is best to approach such pronouncements with healthy skepticism.

If I may say... back in January (pre-vaccine or much of anything) when I had Covid, my doc told me to take a baby aspirin everyday. Aspirin is a fairly natural compound as far as OTC meds are concerned and the components from which it was discovered have been used by humans for treatment of pain for 3500 years.

I have posted this before but I went on a fly fishing group trip some 40 years ago. In the group was a couple of German doctors who told us we could cut heart disease in half if we all took a low dose aspirin every day. They also helped prevent other diseases like colon cancer. I have taken one every day except for the day before pending surgery. It is a blood thinner that could certainly affect people with bleeding problems. At almost 80, my heart is healthy although two of my brothers have had heart attacks and bypass surgery. The third had to have a valve replaced....all three were younger than me. I attribute some of that to the aspirin and I don't plan to stop.

Cuomo was suspended after text messages released by the New York attorney general’s office showed Cuomo was actively assisting with his brother’s response to the allegations of sexual misconduct against him and exploiting his media connections to dig up dirt on Andrew’s accusers.
