On Saturday, Chris Cuomo was fired from CNN “effective immediately.”
The decision was unexpected by the many people who figured that the network that kept Jeffrey Toobin despite his… umm… scandal… would ultimately refuse to part ways with its apparent top anchor.
But, apparently, there was more to this story.
Cuomo was suspended after text messages released by the New York attorney general’s office showed Cuomo was actively assisting with his brother’s response to the allegations of sexual misconduct against him and exploiting his media connections to dig up dirt on Andrew’s accusers.
But, according to the statement, during the review, “additional information

“Journalistic ethics” in the same sentence with CNN? What a joke. Fredo probably thought he was untouchable because of his last name. Happy to see the arrogant and narcissistic brothers knocked down a peg or two.

Perhaps Brian should be a bit more circumspect in his comments, in case he's one of the next out the door.

This surprised me. I thought they would just keep him out of the spotlight until the heat was off, cover up the mess, then "rehabilitate" him.

Only time will tell if that is what they did, #5.
It could be his stoat like countenance was past its use by date. Or maybe he is a star and they’ll move him somewhere else.
Those two brothers are nauseating to see and I’m tired of seeing them.

We often observe that lefties stick together and don't wander far from their reservation, and they don't attack their own. That's true, so long as the individual who has wandered or strayed remains in office--then they'll stick up for him, as the lefties did for Bill Clinton, for example.
But once you have fallen from grace, as both Andrew and Chris Cuomo have, in their respective spheres, it's suddenly open season on you and any pretense of loyalty flies out the window. Having once worked as inhouse counsel for companies owned or controlled by a lefty billionaire, I can assure you that is true even in non-political circumstances. I've seen competent corporate officers dumped like bags of wet cement in a heartbeat--no compassion, no loyalty, no recognition for past achievement. In general, Republicans are much more loyal and compassionate than leftists.

The mouthy little pr!c never caused headaches in my house because CNN was never on. How can the writer claim that Chris was so popular when their ratings haven't left single digits in a long time. The story I remember most about Chris was when dicktater Andy mandated masks at all times and Chris was caught outside maskless and got into an argument with a bicyclist. Both brothers are of the same cloth. I think CNN took this action because more lawsuits are on the horizon.

Any decent, honest, and professional journalist, I would think, would have recused himself from covering the antics of his family member. Fredo must be dumb as a post and arrogant as heck. It is a great pleasure we’ll no longer have to see his smug, ignorant face.

I don't view anything on CNN except what I read here. I don't know who Stelter is but I suspect he's fat and a potato head. All I've seen of Fredo was on Youtube when Rush talked about him or the fruitcake Don Lemon. The last person I remember from the 1980s at CNN was Wolf Blitzer so I could care less if CNN collapsed entirely, it's not soon enough.

Not to worry --- there's always MSNBC, The View, cable, etc. If Brian Williams can re-invent himself so can you Chris!
I even hear Jefferey Toobin is pulling for you!

Stelter kneeled and kissed Cuomo’s butt right along with the rest of CNN until Cuomo got the boot. Now he’s brave enough to run his mouth about non-existent journalistic ethics at CNN. When you’re working for a tabloid it might be best to stay out of the drama.

I always suspected that it was only a matter of time before Fredo was put on the chopping block after Andrew resigned. Given his attitude on camera, I can only imagine what an arrogant jerk he was off camera around his colleagues. But if they go after Fredo for his activities, they better go after everybody else as well at every network. They all actively cover up the crime and corruption of the democrat party.

Both him and his idiot brother are serial sexual predators. Yet, not a peep from the left until the information got out of their control of the narrative. Just more evidence that the whole hashtagpoundmetoo lunacy was nothing but political theatre.

#1 - Fredo got what he deserved and probably more is on the way. Hopefully.
#2 - Stelter deserves all the hatred we can muster, but I object to him being called "potato". Potatoes, unlike Stelter, serve a purpose.
