This Biden-Pelosi-Obama crowd is a tricky cast of characters that likes to tuck surprise goodies into immense legislation, hoping no one spots them until it’s too late. [Snip] Now, what’s just come out is a Joe Biden plan to abolish cash bail for violent suspects. No, seriously. Because, you know, why would any accused murderer skip town? Some of you reactionaries may miss the equity issue here. Accused violent

Every demo-commie supporter owns the results of this. And they should be personally reminded of it, especially if the results hit close to home.

The problem with an "honor system" instead of cash bail is the same thing that is wrong with gun control laws.
Criminals, by definition, break laws. Removing bail is, in effect, catch-and-release for lawbreakers and that is demonstrated in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco every day as repeat offenders are dragged back to court and released back into society.

Cash bail 'reform' is the principal reason that merchants in San Francisco, Chicago and other locations are being stolen blind. It works so well, we should extend the courtesy to rapists and murderers, as well.
This is actually a hobby horse of Mattress Back, who loves pandering to oppressed blacks (being one herself).
When people finally tire of this, the snap back is going to be savage and brutal.

This insanity is going to backfire on them, big time. Two things Americans won't stand for, at least an overwhelming majority of Americans, is attacks on their bank accounts and having their personal safety threatened. And Democrats are leading the charge for both scenarios. It may not happen right now, but it's inevitable if they keep up with this stuff.

I'm sure this will work as well as letting illegals into the country, with them promising to show up for an Immigration hearing at a later date.

Just another example of unconstitutional presidential overreach. But also unnecessary because our Dimocrat-controlled city/state hell-holes have already put this stupidity into play. For damn sure aint gonna happen where I live.

In the 1800s, various places in the nation either didn't have any law enforcement, or law enforcement was corrupt and didn't do the job of stopping criminals. In many places, Committees of Vigilance were formed. San Francisco was one of the latter places in 1851, lest you imagine it only happened in small towns in Kansas. These committees enforced the laws, sometimes in a reasonable facsimile of a court process, other times not much different than a lynch mob. But they did stop the criminals.
Human nature has not changed, and if lawlessness goes on long enough, expect Committees of Vigilance - almost certainly under a new name - to be formed.
Meanwhile, if you do not carry a handgun to protect yourself and your loved ones when out in public places, you should think hard about your reasons for pretending that you are safe and secure rather than ensuring you are actually safe and secure.

So a man can rape and beat his wife or girlfriend within inches of her life, get arrested and then is out on bail the next day to go back home? How does that bring justice to women of color and their families?

No bail is working so well in places like New York and California that it must be implemented nation wide! How else are those Democrat voters going to get to the polls? Why do we even have laws if they are not enforced or there are no consequences?

If they want gun sales to soar even higher, this is a way to do it.

With this nonsense people will start to take the law into their own hands which will not be pretty. A lot of people who get in the way will be hurt.

Or the bad guys could just start obeying the law. The stupidity of this administration is overwhelming.
