Gen. Mark Milley Held Secret Pentagon
Meeting, Told Staff Not To Take Orders
From President Donald Trump
Regarding Nuclear Weapons

Two days after the January 6th riot at the United States Capitol, Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley secretly took action to keep President Donald Trump from ordering the use of nuclear weapons. The revelations come to light in Bob Woodward’s new book “Peril.” “You never know what a president’s trigger point is,” Milley reportedly told his staff. According to CNN, who reviewed the book, Milley ‘called a secret meeting in his Pentagon office on January 8 to review the process for military action, including launching nuclear weapons. […] Milley instructed them not to take orders from anyone unless he was involved.’

Comments:

"Unless he (Milley) was involved". If he directed subordinates to this action, he is a traitor. Only the president can direct the use of nuclear weapons by U.S. Armed Forces, through plans like OPLAN 8010-12. The president has unilateral authority as commander-in-chief to order that nuclear weapons be used for any reason at any time.

This is on another post: Pelosi had a blunt phone call with General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, in the days after the insurrection to discuss the process to launch America's nuclear weapons. Which means more are involved in this matter. Also, for a man who didn't think we should get involved in Iraq, they felt he might actually command the release of nuclear weapons? How deluded are they with such talk?

NOBODY but the President and Commander in Chief has the authority to decide if, when, and how nuclear weapons may be used. This action was NOT within General Milley's authority and is absolutely grounds for court martial. He must be removed immediately.

Republicans need to summon Milley and ask whether this true. If yes he should be court martialed for treason and insurrection. If no, which I think is the case, Woodward and his co-author should be denounced for writing an anti-Trump book that is filled with lies.

Sorry, #18, Vanilli Milley is too heavy to hang. He would break the crossbar. His BMI must be at least 40. He is unfit to serve for physical reasons. I know he needs to be fat; he needs lots of space for all his fake medals. He would have to be executed by firing squad. And they would have to use .50 cal BMG weapons because he is so fat. Have no fear. Biden trusts him. He and the Red Chinese are in agreement. We are safe under the Chinese Red Army.

A new requirement for truck drivers coming from Canada to be vaccinated against COVID-19 could add to supply chain challenges for everything from cars to fruit. The Canadian Trucking Alliance said it could effect more than 12,000 drivers who cross the border daily. "Based on surveys done by the Alliance, and national vaccination averages, CTA believes this will result in a 10-15% exit rate of the 120,000 truck drivers currently crossing the border," the group said. The organization said it is working with its counterparts in the U.S. before the vaccination mandate goes into effect.

BRUSSELS  — Tensions soared Monday between Russia and the West over concerns that Moscow is planning to invade Ukraine, with NATO outlining potential troop and ship deployments, Britain saying it would withdraw some diplomats from Kyiv, and Ireland denouncing upcoming Russian war games off its coast as unwelcome. The Western alliance’s statement summed up moves already announced by member countries, but restating them under the NATO banner appeared aimed at showing its resolve. It was just one of a series of announcements that signaled the West is ramping up its rhetoric in the information war that has accompanied the Ukraine standoff.  CORRECTIONS*

New York City's Eric Adams vowed to crack down on crime if elected mayor, but after just three weeks in the position, he’s facing major setbacks as crimes continue sweeping the city. "It's terrible - the city has gotten worse now," Vincente Malava told WABC of the increase in crimes. Over the course of the last three weeks, the five boroughs have been rocked by a 16% increase in shootings compared to last year, a 65% increase in transit crimes, and a 25% increase in robberies. Meanwhile, the NYPD is reeling from the five officers who have been shot since Jan. 1, including a rookie cop who was shot dead.

The CDC has officially moved the goalposts on what it means to be vaccinated from COVID-19. We all knew this day was coming, even as an onslaught of “fact-checkers” assured us it was “misinformation” to assert such a change was coming publicly. But first, let’s talk about the details. CDC Dir. Rochelle Walensky appeared on CBS News and shared the news that the two-dose regiment will no longer suffice to be considered “fully vaccinated.” Instead, you will need a booster jab in order to be classified as “up to date.” That comes as part of a “pivot” in language by the government, one that many were maligned for predicting.

BREAKING: Schumer Suffers Crushing Defeat

I’m not sure what Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) thought he was going to get by pushing a vote on the Democratic effort to federalize elections (which they call ‘voting rights’) and on the filibuster. Schumer knew that he was likely to get a “no” on the filibuster from Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ). They’ve only been holding fast on the subject for months. Both also were very firm on the subject in speeches — Sinema earlier in the week and Manchin earlier on Wednesday. It wasn’t happening, they said. But Schumer decided to commit electoral suicide anyway, and he got it tonight.

The overwhelming majority of Senate Democrats will soon move to eliminate the filibuster -- which has protected the rights of the chamber’s minority for more than a century – because they feel the need to pass ‘voting rights legislation’ is just too intense to be blocked by the 60-vote threshold. By merging several pieces of legislation into one mega-bill and calling it the ‘Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act,’ Democrats are trying to scare people into believing that if the bill doesn’t pass, they will lose their right to vote.
