BREAKING: Schumer Suffers Crushing Defeat
on Filibuster, as Manchin and Sinema Stand Firm

Original Article

I’m not sure what Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) thought he was going to get by pushing a vote on the Democratic effort to federalize elections (which they call ‘voting rights’) and on the filibuster. Schumer knew that he was likely to get a “no” on the filibuster from Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ). They’ve only been holding fast on the subject for months. Both also were very firm on the subject in speeches — Sinema earlier in the week and Manchin earlier on Wednesday. It wasn’t happening, they said. But Schumer decided to commit electoral suicide anyway, and he got it tonight.

Comments:

Bull Schumer may not realize it yet, but he just gave AOC all kinds of ammunition to primary him now. She can say that he doesn't know his own caucus and can't deliver the goods, just as she has done with Nasty Nanzi.

I love the way that the failure of a former NASA bill will allow AOC in fly into Senator Schumer's safe space.

Maybe we should just let Manchin and Sinema join the ranks of the "moderate" GOP. They cannot be any worse than Romney. So far they are a helluva lot better.

Schumer and the Democrat leadership knew full well this would fail. They went ahead with this exercise for one reason only. It was so they can say that Republicans are racists who are trying to keep blacks and minorities from voting. They need a tremendous turnout from their reliable base to have any chance of winning anything in the mid-terms. Michelle Obama just announced is going to help register a million new voters and here is a clue for you. She is not going after conservative white people to register. Unfortunately the media lapdogs will repeat that Republicans are trying to suppress the minority vote over and over instead of reporting what is actually in the Steal Votes Forever Bill. They have already stopped reporting on the mess at the border and the 2 million plus who have illegally entered the US and are being flown all over the country. I just heard tonight that there is now a backlog of 1.6 million immigration cases that will need to be heard by the 500 immigration judges in the US. Even if their case comes up 5 years from now, the leftists will argue that it would be cruel to deport them after they have established themselves in the US and had 3 or 4 babies. What a mess.

#5 has it right concerning the millions of mostly poor and uneducated illegal aliens (migrants) who the Democrats are allowing to flood the USA with the intention of eventually registering as many as possible as future socialist Democrat voters. What is needed is a constitutional amendment to the effect that all illegal aliens who unlawfully entered or stayed in the USA illegally are permanently ineligible for US citizenship. If that were to occur the Democrats would immediately loose interest in allowing illegal aliens to continue entering the USA unlawfully, because there would be no way that they could legalize millions of illegal aliens through their proposed “path to citizenship” legislative amnesty programs culminating in millions of former illegal aliens being registered to vote in future U.S. elections as socialist Democrat voters.

I have a different take on this. Democrats wanted this to fail. Now they can run on it. Their battle cry is set. Republicans are racists, over and over. They know they will lose in 2022 but right now winning is not as important as setting this up for 2024. They will scream voter fraud after the 2022 election. That is all you will hear. Then the push will be on to get a bill passed before 2024. That is their goal. They have to hold on to the Presidency. No way they can allow Trump another bite at the apple. It would mean disaster for them. They will convince some Republicans to join them in a bi-partisan effort to pass some kind of fair election bill and some will comply because of the pressure the media will put on them regarding the security of the elections. Democrats are not done with this issue. They must pass a bill or they will lose elections going forward because of the mess they have made with this incompetent anti-American administration. They have pushed too far and Americans are pushing back and they cannot have that. Never think for a moment these zealots are finished. They are just regrouping. They live to fight another day and until Republicans understand the threat they are to the Republic and are willing to stand up to them, the country is at grave peril. As it looks to me, we have a few solid Republicans and a host of patriots who are willing to take the fight to them. There is strength in numbers and we have the numbers and democrats know it. Why do you think they threw open the borders? It’s all going to be about 2024 going forward. You can bet democrats have a plan to register every illegal alien that strode into this country with their blessing. Be prepared to defend your country at the ballot box. We still have the numbers. No patriot stays home. It is our only hope.

This is going to make most of you angry but here it goes, when was the last fair election, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Reagan, Clinton ? We know GW had issues with hanging chads so was it then? My guess is there hasnt been a fair election since the Industrial Age when men like Rockefeller, Carnegie, Westinghouse, the Vanderbilts discovered how to control politicians. Watch the series, Men who built American, afterwards look at the money men today and then realize we support our demise by shopping at Wal Mart, Amazon, Target, Lowe’s and the list goes on. Trump won and they never expected it to happen but they figured out how to get rid of him.

#12 - there were two votes last night. The first was to end debate on the Election Manipulation bill. 60 votes required to end debate, the Rats only got 49. The second vote was to abolish the filibuster. Only 50 votes need (plus Kamaltoe's tie-breaker) but they only got 48.

Schumer's only objective here was to try to embarrass Manchin and Sinema in front of their colleagues by forcing them to put their votes on the record. Instead, he embarrassed himself but Schumer doesn't seem to mind that since he does it all the time. Not exactly a crushing defeat but hey, we'll take it.

I don't understand all of this AOC taking Schmuckies seat. It's a state wide election, she got what like 5,000 votes in her district to make it to congress. Even in NY I doubt she has wide range appeal. The Jewish vote will stay with Schmukie and I doubt too many outside of NYC would vote for her. Of course one could go broke betting on the sanity of NY voters!

If she managed to toss Schumer out on his corrupted fanny, Democrats would probably have the same reaction that they had when Eric Cantor got booted by Dave Bratt, a political first timer. For now. However, the GOP elites make the primary rules, count the votes, and dole out the $$$ to primary candidates. The Republic is dangling on a thread as long as McConnell, McCarthy and RINOs like Collins, Snow, et al remain within the party, GOP funding depends on globalist billionaires, CEOs, and Wall Street speculators, and traitors like Murkowski and Cheny still have a "voice" and a vote. Then the unrelenting pressure on Manchin and Sinema may yet take its toll. Dangling on a thread. Our ultimate hope is on Divine Providence and a new MAGA party to clean it all up. And a helluva lot of work and sacrifice by the rest of us.

Biden and the Democrats don’t really care about how most Americans vote, as they believe that most of the electorate is politically stupid and are very susceptible to Democrat “snow jobs” and buying vote schemes. In that respect Biden appeared to insinuate yesterday that most Americans residing outside the DC beltway these days are dumb and happy as long as they have three hots, a cot, and feel secure. What Biden and the Democrats do really care about are who the machines and people are who actually do count the votes, and intend, through partisan “voting rights” legislation to retain control most of those machines and people in the big, and battleground states to ensure repeats of the 2020 election on into the future no matter how Americans vote, thus keeping a progressive or socialist Democrat President in the White House.

The overwhelming majority of Senate Democrats will soon move to eliminate the filibuster -- which has protected the rights of the chamber’s minority for more than a century – because they feel the need to pass ‘voting rights legislation’ is just too intense to be blocked by the 60-vote threshold. By merging several pieces of legislation into one mega-bill and calling it the ‘Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act,’ Democrats are trying to scare people into believing that if the bill doesn’t pass, they will lose their right to vote.

We look like a third-world country,” Newsom said, before apologizing for using the word “gangs” to describe the attacks on the trains, stressing that he did not mean the word in a “pejorative” way.

Actor and superyacht enthusiast Leonardo DiCaprio told Deadline planet Earth has “literally” nine years left on its “ticking clock,” and that “we should not have any elected leaders, on a state level, on a city level, or a national level that don’t listen to science.” In the Titanic star’s latest Netflix film Don’t Look Up, two astronomers (played by DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence) go on a media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy Earth. But instead of taking the astronomers seriously, the comet becomes politicized. The film goes on to make several thinly veiled references to the Trump

Democrats accused Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of racism for remarks he made about black Americans voting at just as high a percentage as 'Americans' after their voting rights package failed to make it through the Senate. The Kentucky Republican was asked by a reporter what his message is to voters of color who are 'concerned' that they won't be able to vote in the midterm election. 'Well, the concern is misplaced because you if you look at the statistics, African-American voters are voting in just as high a percentage as Americans,' McConnell said in response.

The Democrats and the propaganda ministry have tried to portray the events of January 6 as the greatest assault on democracy… in like, forever. But it seems like that narrative is starting to unravel. The unraveling began when many people began to suspect that the whole thing was a setup and started looking into it. It wasn’t law enforcement or MSM journalists investigating -- they could be controlled. It was amateur citizen investigators using the power of the internet.

Comedian and actress Kathy Griffin claimed CNN president Jeff Zucker slashed her pay after she had asked for a raise as co-host of the network's New Year's Eve special. In a profile published Wednesday in The New York Times, Griffin recalled reaching out to Zucker 10 days before the broadcast in 2016 and told him she felt she deserved more than her $80,000 contract since "she was carrying more of the prep work" than her co-host, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper. According to Griffin, Zucker "got very offended." "He started yelling at me and he literally said something like, ‘Who do you think you are calling here demanding a raise?’
