Half of independents in the South also favor secession while 43 percent of Republicans in the Rocky Mountain states share the same view. The survey, which was conducted by Bright Line Watch, polled 2,750 respondents. The figures were published

The United Nations—whose World Health Organization arm was just panned for its probe of the COVID-19 pandemic’s origins confined to guidelines set by the Chinese Communist Party—has been formally invited by the Biden administration to investigate “the scourge of racism, racial discrimination, and xenophobia” in the US, according to Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
“As the President has repeatedly made clear, great nations such as ours do not hide from our shortcomings; they acknowledge them openly and strive to improve with transparency,” said Blinken in a statement released Tuesday.
“It is in this context that the United States intends to issue a formal, standing invitation

Jacob Zuma's son has urged looters to 'do so responsibly' and called for his father to be freed after South Africa's lawlessness entered its sixth consecutive day amid fears of a 'humanitarian crisis' with food, fuel and Covid medicine shortages. The former president was locked up last Friday for failing to appear in court on corruption charges, prompting riots and looting across the country, with police forces totally absent or in some cases, officers participating.(Snip)But the raging unrest has lost any sense of its loose political origins, descending into wanton lawlessness, including gang shoot-outs in the streets, people queuing up with cars to loot warehouses and malls,

A DoorDash driver’s next run may be from the law after social-media video showed him digging his bare hands into a Chipotle order meant for a Brooklyn cop—to leave a handwritten note implying he contaminated the meal in a much worse way. “Hope that [expletive] taste good [expletive]!” read the small note, misspelling a common vulgarism for the male genitalia. The short video clip, posted to Facebook on Monday, shows the driver reaching into the open container of what appears to be a burrito bowl to bury the note under shredded cheese and lettuce. “Ya kno I’m bout to violate the [expletive] out this order 61st precient [sic],”

The White House wasted no time in utilizing the star power of Gen-Z superstar Olivia Rodrigo on Wednesday, when press secretary Jen Psaki invited the 18-year-old singer up to the podium to brief the media on the importance of vaccines ahead of her meeting with President Biden and Dr. Fauci. Olivia, 18, was called upon to take the podium in the White House briefing room shortly after she was pictured arriving at the West Wing, looking every inch the pop sensation in a pink plaid Chanel suit, complete with a short mini skirt and matching jacket.

The mayor of Miami, Florida, has called on the US to consider military action to overthrow the Communist regime in Cuba—even if that means launching airstrikes. Francis Suarez—whose father was Miami’s first Cuban-born mayor—told Fox News on Tuesday that “what should be being contemplated right now is a coalition of potential military action in Cuba.” He highlighted previous US military action in Panama, Kosovo and Pakistan, the latter of which “probably saved thousands” of lives by killing Osama bin Laden when President Biden was vice president.(Snip) He later told the Miami Herald that he was expecting a call from the president

Delta Air Lines reported its first quarterly profit since the pandemic devastated the airline industry more than a year ago, as hordes of vacation travelers and money from U.S. taxpayers offset weak corporate and international travel. Delta said Wednesday that it earned $652 million in the second quarter. However, Delta's report shows that airlines still face turbulence as they try to rebound from their worst year ever. Without $1.5 billion in federal pandemic relief and other one-time events, the Atlanta airline would have posted an adjusted loss of $678 million.(Snip)"We still have a long ways to go," CEO Ed Bastian said in an interview

Jamaica is planning to ask the United Kingdom for compensation for the Atlantic slave trade in the former British colony, a senior government official said. The Caribbean island nation will file a petition that could seek billions of pounds in reparations, pending legal advice, according to Olivia Grange, Jamaica's minister of sports, youth and culture. Ordinary Americans sleep safely in their beds because brave agency patriots stand ready to protect us against all enemies foreign and domestic. Except for those who staged the fake insurrection and opened the capitol doors so tourists like this family could take a look around, that is.
