A whopping two-thirds of Republicans in the South favor seceding from the United States while nearly half of Democrats in the Pacific region and almost 40 percent in the Northeast say the same, according to a new survey.
Support for secession is also considerable among independents in the Midwest and Great Lakes regions, where 43 percent say they would favor breaking away and forming their own country. Half of independents in the South also favor secession while 43 percent of Republicans in the Rocky Mountain states share the same view. The survey, which was conducted by Bright Line Watch, polled 2,750 respondents. The figures were published

"Any people, anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable and most sacred right—a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world. Nor is this right confined to cases in which the whole people of an existing government may choose to exercise it. Any portion of such people, that can may revolutionize and make their own of so many of the territory as they inhabit." —Abraham Lincoln, January 1848

Another bogus poll. I believe most all conservatives would think about shaking off our Dim strongholds but not at the expense of the Union. We believe it remains worthwhile - even if it becomes necessary to knock a few heads - or worse.

Efficiency wise, it would be much easier to carve out a patch of land and move the residents of DC, New York, Oregon, Washington, Massachusetts, California, Maryland and Illinois there with a one-time option for any other delusional liberal from any other state to move there with them before the wall is built.

I'd love to secede, even start a new country, but WHERE?
Our anscestors, when they became unhappy, cut down trees and built boats, and went to a new land where they could live free. There is no place left to go now.

First of all the poll surveyed less than 3,000 people. Who is this polling firm? Never heard of them. So the I suspect the percentages of Americans wanting to secede in actuality is no where near the percentages cited.
That said, this article makes me want to cry. The Democrats, media, big tech are succeeding in continuing to divide our beloved Republic. The article cites Trump as a reason for secession, well lay that right at the feet of the media. PERIOD. But, the constant push we get every single freakin' day from Biden to divide us, so weakens our country, it is criminal.
Biden and Blinken that moron Secretary of State, are welcoming our enemies in the front door with this obscene decision to have the United Nations, that stinking cesspool of criminals, investigate racism in the United States. What other country is stupid enough and so self-loathing that they invite probes of their own country by outsiders, by potential enemies? No other country on the planet would do this to themselves. This is absolutely unheard of. But our fraudulent government is doing just that.
And as always, China, that big fat cat sitting in the wings, just smiles and waits to pounce. Everyday the pretend president takes us deeper into the abyss.

The results would be akin to the contrast between Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
Side by side....one thriving and one failing miserably.
Because they are Americans who will refuse to live in squalor, the conservatives who can afford to uproot would flock out of California and New York. We will gladly receive them as immigrants with skills.

It seems the Daily Mail lately is going out of it's way to find obscure articles that basically blame Trump for something. Don't fall for it.
The idea of "seceding" appeals on the surface much like walking out on certain of your relatives but it would be a disaster for everyone. Imagine two or three separate countries where the great USA once was! And the trade wars that would entail? Now imagine some friends or relatives stuck in those states you now can't visit? No!!
America is worth fighting for! Stop the negativity!!
You don't abandon your own house just because there are a lot of rats in the basement. Get a cat ... poison the vermin ... go down into your cellar with a gun and shoot them ... whatever works ... but never, EVER give up! Especially to rats.

Interesting numbers. Two-thirds of republicans in the south support secession? Even the msm couldn't hide this. I'd like to see another poll substantiate these numbers. I never heard of Bright Line Watch. Are they libertarian? The sample size of their poll is too small.

A much better way would be to just go back to the original constitution as it was meant to be. States are called states because they were meant to be sovereign states united together for a common defense and to facilitate trade between the states. The same states that want to keep going left today are the same ones that invaded the south in their quest to turn the federal government into the national government we have today and use it to dominate other less densely populated states and rule over them like colonies, just as the coasts call us "flyover" country and try to rule over us today.
A person needs to remember that Lincoln did not care to free the slaves, he only fought the civil war to keep the southern states under the thumb of the national government. The emancipation declaration was made to keep people sending him their sons and daughters to use as cannon fodder. Don't believe it, look up words he used to say precisely that.

I think not...how will their strategy shift now....when they see they are in trouble...a civil war on the horizon?... well... biden/obama ain't no President Lincoln...and maybe General Lee will rise again from the torn down statue....hey demmies you tripped again...don't underestimate Americans...

In my humble opinion it would be a disaster. One country would produce wheat and grain, another oil, another beef and poultry, and the western one would produce Hollywood movies.
The Northeast would provide what - Progressives?
None would be self reliant as we are today.
Overall, a bad idea.

This is why our overlords have prioritized discrediting and tearing down monuments of heroes of yore. Why should people be allowed to envision breaking away from an oppressive government, as the Founders did in 1776?
