Failed America refuses to control its own borders or stop domestic insurgents in our cities (apart from the agency pantomime at the US Capitol, that was terrible), so what the H are we doing in Afghanistan, apart from protecting the opium poppy crop and wasting money and US lives?

The Taliban are ultraviolent Islamists, killing is what they do. Same old story for 1400 years. Islam is a cancer on humanity.

I'm sure the crack Afghan security forces, so wonderfully trained over two decades by U.S. forces, can handle it on their own.

Rudolph W. Giuliani says that the FBI secretly spied on his Apple iCloud account beginning in late 2019 when he was having regular messaging conversations with his client, President Trump, during House impeachment proceedings. Mr. Giuliani said the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan on Thursday informed his attorney, Robert Costello, that covert wiretapping took place. “He asked [the prosecutor] to repeat it because he couldn’t believe it was true,” Mr. Giuliani said this week on the “Rita Cosby Show” on WABC radio in New York. “To me they just trashed the president of the United States.”(Snip) “Unless these people have no ethics

Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan have almost doubled the size of their estate in Hawaii, purchasing a neighboring 600 acre plot for $53 million in a move likely to further enrage his island critics. The Facebook founder, who began buying up chunks of the island in September 2014, added the additional land on March 19, according to Pacific Business News. Kauai is the fourth largest of Hawaii's eight main islands, and home to 67,000 people. The north shore land, which includes the spectacular Larsen's Beach, was bought from a nonprofit organization established by a local family, whose roots, the paper reported,

Too much booze before dinner proved unhealthy for a Brooklyn man and two strangers he’s accused of shooting during what should have been an evening of fine dining at Williamsburg’s famed Peter Luger Steak House, police said. Sommerville, 24, also faces weapons possession charges—and he and his brother, Armel Sommerville, 19, are suspected in a Feb. 2 home invasion robbery in Littleton, N.C., a detective there confirmed.

A New Jersey police chief facing charges of insubordination over multiple accusations, including offering an officer a promotion in exchange for sex with his wife and daughter, should be demoted, a hearing officer has determined. Retired Judge Raymond A. Batten ruled that Vineland Police Chief Rudy Beu, 60, was guilty of insubordination, conduct unbecoming a public employee and neglect of duty as well as other charges. City officials wanted to suspend the chief for 180 days without pay as well as demote him, pressofatlanticcity.com reported. But in the April 23 written decision, Batten recommended that Beu be demoted to deputy chief.

President Biden spent 30 seconds frantically looking for a mask he left in his pocket before his outdoor rally in Georgia this week—saying he’d be “in trouble” without it—despite being fully vaccinated. Footage from Thursday’s drive-in event in Duluth—which marked his 100th day in office—showed the commander-in-chief immediately hunting for his missing mask after arriving at his podium. “I can’t find my mask!” he could be heard saying, initially drowned out by the loud welcome music of Jackie Wilson’s “(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher.” First lady Jill Biden joined him in his desperate search as he repeated

The State Department issued a Level 4 travel advisory on Wednesday, which is the highest alert of its kind, urging all Americans to leave India if they can because of the current COVID-19 outbreak there. Joe Biden’s administration, seeking deep cuts to planet-heating emissions, is facing pressure to take a previously unthinkable step: declare the end of the internal combustion engine in the US. Washington state has moved to call time on the age of gasoline and diesel cars, with the legislature passing a goal that new car sales be only zero-emission vehicles from 2030, including out of state purchases that are then imported. The legislation now awaits to signature of Governor Jay Inslee, a Democrat who previously ran for president on the climate crisis platform. While not a strict mandate, the Washington bill is

Tucker Carlson opened Friday night’s show with a pointed critique. The rhetorical question was why the Republican leadership is so disconnected from Republican voters. One of the reasons, he said, is Frank Luntz. For decades, Luntz has been giving the GOP leadership its talking points. The problem is that Luntz is not a conservative; he is a corporate servant and his points always align with corporate America – and lately, corporate America has been aligning with the woke left.
