The Virginia Military Institute removed a 108-year-old statue of former professor and Confederate general Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson from its campus on Monday. The statue was lifted from its pedestal with a crane and is set to be relocated to a Civil War museum which is also operated by the college. “VMI does not define itself by this statue and that is why this move is appropriate. We are defined by our unique system of education and the quality and character of the graduates the Institute produces,” retired Maj. Gen. Cedric T. In one corner, President Trump and his allies claim massive fraud cost him the 2020 election. In the other, Democrats and sympathetic media allies argue that the vote was free and fair and that the charges of fraud amount to sour-grapes conspiracy mongering. Many allegations advanced by the president, his surrogates and supporters have been challenged and some have been dismissed by courts or debunked. Still, in numerous instances, media fact checkers have not been diligent. They have simply run the allegations by state authorities and other officials who would have orchestrated the alleged fraud or had an interest in minimizing irregularities.

The Democratic Party’s biggest problem today is its struggle to win over working-class voters. After President Trump’s 2016 victory, some political analysts argued that this problem was really all about racism. And Trump’s appeals to white nationalism certainly won him votes. But it’s also clear that the Democrats’ weakness with working-class voters — defined roughly as people without a four-year college degree — is not only about race. Many Trump voters, after all, voted for Barack Obama in 2012, which suggests they’re not incorrigible racists.Perhaps even more telling is the shape of this year’s results. Not only did Trump again win by huge margins among working-class whites, but he also fared better

Patrick Basham, the founding director of the Democracy Institute, while on the Mark Levin show, gave a remarkably lucid explanation for the peculiarities surrounding the election. He did not focus specifically on the allegations of election fraud. Instead, he explained that traditional markers associated with an incumbent’s almost inevitable victory were all lined up to result in an overwhelming Trump win. That Trump did not, in fact, win simply makes no sense. (snip) it’s completely bizarre that Biden did not sweep the United States. Instead, he swept a few specific precincts.

When Attorney Sidney Powell a few weeks ago said, “Release the Kraken,” it wasn’t clear if she was referring to the mythical creature with multiple arms and heads or a secret military counterintelligence unit that may have real time evidence of electoral fraud. Either way it hinted at big things ahead. (snip) Perhaps “nothing can stop what is coming,” as the mysterious military intelligence insider assures us, but to most observers the only thing coming is the end of the American experiment, a fraudulent and stolen election cheered on by a corrupt and complicit media and ignored by a feckless Republican establishment.

Monday marks the 79th anniversary of the Japanese attack on the Pearl Harbor naval base in Hawaii, the event most responsible for the U.S. entry into World War II -- but the remembrance ceremony will be quite different this year.No survivors, relatives or other attendees will be physically present for the ceremony, due to COVID-19.Officials have decided against the usual in-person event featuring surviving veterans, many of whom are now close to 100 years old. Instead, there will be a virtual event with no public attendance."Out of an abundance of caution, we will not have WWII veterans at the ceremony but

Attorney General William Barr is said to be considering leaving his post before the end of Donald Trump's presidency on January 20. A source confirmed that Barr is unhappy with Trump stating Barr 'is not someone who takes bullying and turns the other cheek!''He has not made a final decision,' the source said. (Photos) The story, first revealed by the The New York Times, stated that it was unclear whether the attorney general's decision to possibly leave was influenced by Trump's refusal to concede the election or Trump's upset over Barr's acknowledgment last week the Justice Department uncovered no widespread voting fraud.

You may remember the strange case of Antrim County, the very pro-Trump red county, where the voting results professed to show that Joe Biden had won by a huge amount. Well, the election officials knew something was wrong when they saw it, knowing there was no way that happened. But when they investigated, they found that somehow the votes had been switched. The Secretary of State, a Democrat tried to blame “human error” saying that an election official in the county hadn’t done an update which caused the result. But then that immediately raised several questions. Was there a problem in the system that allowed for this to happen?

Right now, President Trump is watching how the Republican party is responding to the brutal and transparent evidence of election fraud from coast to coast… As CTH has said since our inception, there is only one way out of this mess. Accept the UniParty as a functional one-party apparatus within Washington DC, and start getting serious about a genuine Second Party. Form the “Rebel Alliance”.

Against the backdrop of a pandemic’s blight and wounds from an acrimonious election, a group of acclaimed actors on Sunday will stage an online reading of a religious text with remarkable relevance to the current moment: the Book of Job. Audience members may be drawn to the production by the casting of Bill Murray as Job, the righteous man tested by the loss of his health, home and children, but the real star is the format. Staged on Zoom, it's aimed at Republican-leaning Knox County, Ohio, with participation from locals including people of faith, and designed to spark meaningful conversations across spiritual and political divides.
