Climate change scientists fly more often than any other researchers, a new study has revealed. Researchers at Cardiff University found that scientists specialising in climate take around one more flight a year for work than their contemporaries. The revelation has sparked calls for environmentalists to 'look in the mirror' before preaching about reducing emissions. The study, reported in The Times, found that climate scientists take around five flights a year on average for work while other researchers took just four. Climate change professors also take around nine flights each year while the average for professors in general is eight.

Uxbridge–A woman charged with assaulting a Vietnam veteran because he supports President Trump was released on $250 bail Monday. Kiara Dudley, 34, was arrested after the weekend incident in Douglas. The 73-year-old veteran and another person were at the intersection of Main and Webster streets just after noon Saturday with Trump flags and signs. Yes, that title doesn’t make much sense, but neither does a group that promotes banning firearms starting a national organization called Gun Owners for Safety. Nonetheless, The Hill recently reported that the anti-gun group Giffords is doing just that. This effort is being sold as an expansion of the group’s campaign to fool gun owners at the state level into supporting an agenda that is clearly against their own interests. With the 2020 Presidential election a few weeks away, opinion polls dominate the news, unlike real news of one of the candidates and his family involved in a massive pay-to-play scandal, selling US interests to hostile foreign governments, dutifully ignored or censored by cable news and social media giants.Polls show Joe Biden ahead by double digits, portending a landslide victory the likes of which we haven’t seen since the electoral tsunamis of Nixon and Reagan decades ago. The latest state polling by the Trafalgar Group predicts another win for President Trump in the upper 270’s to low 280’s in the Electoral College, but the CEO highlights a couple of big cautions for Republicans.
