Amazon employees are pushing for the company to make Election Day a paid holiday. More than 6,400 Amazon workers have signed a petition calling for Election Day to be a paid day off, according to Amazon Employees for Climate Justice, a worker activist group. On Saturday, a few hundred people showed up in downtown Seattle to protest the company's current policy and register voters, according to the group. "Removing barriers to voting is critical to ensure we have a voice on the issues we care about," the petition reads. It notes that many Amazon workers might have trouble voting this

I am so glad I stopped doing business with Amazon a few years ago. Chinese dreck and antifa politics -- yeah, I want that by second day.

We don’t want to hinder the free exercise of the pursuit of happiness. Use your option for an absentee ballot or use the mail in fraud method or just show up at your polling place on Election Day. You could always use a sick day or vacation time.

My parents and their generation fought WWII , worked in jobs vital to the war effort and never needed time off to vote.

This demonstration in Seattle is very lame considering that the state of Washington is 100% mail in voting. You can’t go to a polling place to vote on election day even if you wanted to!

Perchance the little dears have other ideas about what to do at the polls on election day, hmmm?

Since the majority of Amazon's employees are liberals and we're talking about Settle this could be a good thing if they don't vote. Unfortunately, like Chicongos dead, someone will vote for them if Biden needs the votes.

Liberals are on-line 24-7, but can't figure out how to vote? There are options. However, they have never figured out how to use birth control either. Then they justify killing tiny babies with beating hearts.

They want the day off so they can torment voters at polling sites. Yep, scare people away so they don't vote.
OR they become agents for the dem party as challengers. They sit in the voting site until 5PM and check off the names of the voters. Then, the dems that didn't vote get a visit from a person to drag them to the polls to vote. On the way there, the voter has to listen to why they have to vote dem.

I'd be OK with an election day holiday every two years if we go back election day only voting. The only exceptions would be legitimate, applied for absentee ballots.

School districts around the country take the whole day off; it's a paid holiday for many of them. I wonder what they'll do this year, being virtual and all.

Do we have an age group for Amazon employees ? Be grateful you have jobs. You could be in AOC's district.

How pitiful - even with early voting, absentee ballots, and unsolicited mail in ballots the poor dears cannot figure out how to vote unless they get a holiday.
