Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) threatened to “rebalance” the federal judiciary under a potential Biden presidency should Senate Republicans confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. Coons appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” with host Jake Tapper on Sunday to comment on Barrett’s ongoing confirmation process in the Senate. Coons said that if former Vice President Joe Biden beats President Trump in November, the Delaware senator would be “open” to packing the Supreme Court in response to Barrett’s confirmation.“Like Joe Biden, I’m not a fan of expanding the court, but we have a few weeks here to see whether there are four Republicans who

Coons would need a lot of remedial training to qualify as an idiot. Hateful puke, too.

For God's sake. They were talking about 'packing' the court before Ginsburg died.
Also, if Barrett is on the Supreme Court in November, all they will be doing is hearing arguments for or against Obamacare. They will then take it under advisement and it won't be announced until sometime NEXT SUMMER, not next month. That will give the Trump administration plenty of time to come up with a better and cheaper health care plan for those who need it.

Is that a threat ? Dems have gone over the edge.

Well now that the dem's cards are on the table. should Trump win and the GOP keep the senate, maybe Trump should add 3 or 4 more Supreme Court Justices.

Anything for power, eh? Forget our great free republic with its checks and balances. Let's manipulate the system to ensure the Dems can get monopolistic power over the country disenfranchising half the population forever. Yep, let's destroy the U.S. for our own power-mongering.

Coons is basically threatening Republican Senators. He knows it and the Republicans know. Everybody knows it except the clueless Jake Tapper of Fake News. If he thinks that any Senator is going to reason that he/she had better vote against Barrett to save the country from court packing, he is even more IQ challenged than I have previously thought.

He's so stupid he doesn't see that he's promoting his own irrelevance. Pack the court and what do you need the do-nothing House and Senate for? All you'd need is a dictator, a state-run press, a court, plaintiffs and lawyers to push their pet causes.

Court Packing? More misuse of words by Liberals to shade the truth. It is Court EXPANSION.
The correct word is Democrat, as in Democrat Party, The word democratic is an adjective, not a noun. This is another misuse of words to shade the truth. Democrat politicians are would be Dictators far from being democratic.

for those of you people who are unfamiliar with the Caroion series King of the Hill, set in texas, you can find it on youtube.
Hank Hill has a neighbor named Dale Dautreve, who is an army barber, and a displaced louisiana Cajun.
dale is bald, blank-eyed, short, and not very bright.
and Dale is a twin for Coons. It is almost spooky.
Take a look at a King of the Hill episode, and it is likely Dale will make his ap0pearance.
I guarantee that it will be worth your effort.

I hope Coons (racist name) is "open" to being replaced at his next election too.
I believe a famous quote applies to Judge Barrett's appointment:
"Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead!"

When I was coming up, we didn't care much for whiny, bad sport losers. Participation trophies have created a generation of spoiled brats that have to have it their way, or they won't play. The sims accuse President Trump of changing the court in order to advance conservative causes. What is the reason Coons gives for expanding the court, but to advance liberal programs. Democrats are beyond tiresome.

I wouldn't say that "I'm open to packing" in his neck of the woods. He may get more offers than he can handle.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.... and the democrats are desperate....you can see it in their attempts to frighten the public....it only validates for Trumpsters the absolute need to re/elect our president...WE are voting en masse to let President Trump finish the job he started... cleaning out the DC swamp...

Look in the dictionary under "passive/aggressive" and you'll see Baldy's face. Curiously, you will also see his face under "annoying" and "disgusting" as well.

Want to stifle talk about packing the Court? Once the election results are safely the GOP's and Trump's, he should publicly state that he's going to ask the new Congress to enact legislation in January to increase the number of Justices to 15, and he's going to name the youngest ones on his master list to take the seats.
Be careful from the shrapnel from the exploding heads.
