Former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who now serves on Joe Biden's transition team, suggested Sunday that President Trump’s supreme court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, poses a threat to his marriage.
"There are all kinds of interesting questions about the future of the American judiciary, but right now, as we speak, the preexisting condition coverage of millions of Americans might depend on what is about to happen in the Senate with regard to this justice," Buttigieg told "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace. Buttigieg, who married his husband in 2018, then suggested that the Obama-era same-sex marriage ruling could be considered

#1, don't forget feeeeelings, whoa whoa whoa feeeelings! LOL
Alfred E Newman, the abysmal failure of a candidate and mayor (hopefully forever) has spoken. . .must be so. I anticipated he would say "It was a debate!" repeated ad nauseam for emphasis (i.e., it is expected to be a lie).
It appears Biden (and his puppeteers) have chosen to assimilate (and or pay) the leftist leftists into the campaign and hangers on and projected cabinet members, in order to appease the brownshirts and MSM and other anti-American fascistas.

My lefty sister was spouting the same thing about gay marriage weeks ago: “ACB will end gay marriage!” Like it or not, I rather doubt ACB would undo gay marriage. This is a fear tactic courtesy of the Left.

If things are so shaky that one Supreme Court judge can ruin your arrangement, then it is already ruined.
And if one Supreme Being really has this much power, why don't we just get rid of them all? Why do you want more of them? .

The Supreme court upheld gay marriage and the world didnt come to an end. Gay marriage has pretty much been accepted or tolerated. Why would the court re-visit the issue?

The saddest part is that when state referendums are held to define marriage as man/woman, they pass by about 2/3. Then along come the courts. I think Mayor Pete has it backwards. In more ways than one.

Marriage is an institution created by God with the purpose of facilitating loving and loyal families and protecting and nurturing children. No amount of usurping the terminology will ever make it truth. God created a union between one man and one woman. Period. Man can make up whatever he wants, but it will never redefine marriage. Leftists are want to redefine words in a manner that suits their dogma. Gays may have partnerships, civil unions but they are not married. God recognizes His definition of marriage. I am always puzzled by why gays want to use the term marriage when they reject His Word. Then I remember. It’s never been about marriage. It’s always been about forcing Christians to accept their lifestyle.

Right. The Supreme Court wants to endanger the play-marriages of people whose odd domestic arrangements are sanctioned by law. You're not that special, Pete. Nobody's coming after you for shacking up with your boyfriend.

I am not his judge. I do not wish to be his judge. But the One who will judge him said that marriage is one man and one woman. Oops.
Sorry, Pete. Saint Peter don't know you.

Even Elton John is against ssm, and says that civil unions are what the gays should be sticking with. He gets it. Too bad that the gaystapo in America is more intent on sticking a finger in our eye than trying to be reasonable. I just wish I could be a fly on a cloud when folks like Pete try to explain to God why they think He is wrong. I admire God's patience very much.

It's a lot of things, but 'marriage' isn't one of them.
Unless, of course, Merriam-Webster has redefined the meaning of the word, like good little commies do...
Which still doesn't make it a 'marriage'.

The absolute worst thing that could happen is that this huge federal government over-reach would be overturned, and the issue would go back to the states.
With the exception of a few very conservative southern states, very few states would outlaw homosexual "marriage". And all of them would still allow homosexual couples to live together -- they just couldn't get a marriage license or have state benefits. The state Butt-boy lives in certainly would not outlaw it.
Just because lie-berals love to have wet dreams about the federal government becoming "big brother" and controlling every aspect of our lives, the reality of our system just doesn't allow that!!!

Leaving out all emotion it defies reason to think a new justice will change past decisions. Put emotions back in and I can think "she is so likable"!
