“Democrat. Republican. Trump. Biden. Sanders. Whatever. That will no longer be allowed in the plant.” New audio from a training session at a Goodyear plant in Topeka sheds more light on a conversation with employees about the company’s zero-tolerance policy. A photo leaked from the meeting had a list of what was acceptable and unacceptable at the workplace, but the new audio gives more context to that conversation. WIBW obtained that recording. The meeting references racial graffiti in the locker room. “Some people may wish to express their views on social justice or inequity or equity issues such as black

It's peak summer and hotter than the blazes up and down California. In some places it is the blazes.
And with the state's greenie mandates, instead of nice air conditioning like what other people have, rolling blackouts have begun, same as you find in third-world countries.
It's hot as hell. The Sahara has nothing on this California heat:
On Sunday, the mercury potentially hit 130F (54.4C) in California’s Death Valley National Park – a temperature that could become the hottest ever recorded on Earth.

A series of anti-poverty billboards sponsored by a Black conservative group urges young people to finish school, get a job, get married and save money, but apparently that advice was too inflammatory for Milwaukee. The “Tired of Poverty” billboards, part of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education’s “Success Sequence” campaign, were removed this week by Clear Channel Outdoor after complaints about the message, which one local woman described as an “attack.” The four billboards featured photos of young Black people with the message, “Tired of Poverty? The "We the People"-themed Democratic National Convention, like the Republican one to follow, shows us what America has known for years: that conventions are only infomercials designed to bend reality to political will.
The Democrats bend their reality toward a referendum on President Donald Trump's handling of the coronavirus, but they bend it away from any mention of growing violence in American big cities run by liberal Democratic administrations.
As I keep telling you, when you hear politicians talking, pay attention to what isn't said. Train your eye to see the negative space between the dancers, because that, too, is often the story.

Michelle Obama's prerecorded speech for the first night of the Democratic convention was praised effusively and automatically by the "news" media. Because the media see it as their job to praise everything Michelle Obama does with overwhelming enthusiasm.
Please try this imaginative exercise: When has a "news" professional ever asked Michelle Obama a challenging question? When has she ever been portrayed as anything less than Barack Obama's "not-so-secret weapon"? If you want to smell a whiff of authoritarianism in America, it feels almost illegal to speak one discouraging word about the first black first lady.
Michelle Obama is America's most pampered princess, the most spoiled figure in our modern political history.

President Trump on Wednesday pointed to the protests going on around the country calling for racial justice and police reform as a reason why Americans should have to go to the polls in person this November to vote.
“IF YOU CAN PROTEST IN PERSON, YOU CAN VOTE IN PERSON!,” Trump wrote on Twitter in all caps.
The president has warned that allowing large-scale voting by mail, as many states are opting to do this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, would result in rampant fraud and a rigged election.
Speaking at the White House on Tuesday, Trump predicted that “universal voting is going to be a disaster.”

Undercover cops busted a suspected looter in Chicago, after he tried to sell them a $2,700 designer sweater, according to a report.

Michelle Obama famously said, “When they go low, we go high.” She should have reminded her husband before he gave his speech for the online Democrat convention.
Standing in a room in Philadelphia, with the words “Writing the Constitution” over his right shoulder, Obama gave a speech that almost wholly ignored Biden, whom he’d ostensibly come to praise. Instead, Obama viciously attacked Trump and did a constitutional rewrite that allowed him to cast Trump as a constitutional threat.
From the start, Obama was up to his old tricks. Even while he wanted to use the Constitution to challenge Trump, he couldn’t praise it.

In watching the Democratic National Convention one thing strikes me over and over again – Democrats really don’t like this country and the people in it. No, this wasn’t news to me, but it was surprising to see them be so open about it; proud of it, really.
The opening night was a list of grievances, an endless stream of whiny leftists declaring how racist everything and everyone is. Honestly, if I lived in a place where I truly believed its very existence was based on oppressing me, you couldn’t keep me there. I wouldn’t stick around, and I surely wouldn’t try to take it over.

In accepting the Democratic vice presidential nomination, Sen. Kamala Harris relied heavily on platitudes. That's because Democrats are not eager to highlight their radical agenda.
As is typically the case in vice presidential acceptance speeches, Harris was heavy on biography early on, understandably trying to introduce herself to a national audience that may not be as familiar with her background.
But as the speech veered into a few minutes of what was supposed to be substance, it fell flat. And it wasn’t just because it was delivered from a lectern in Wilmington, Delaware, before a few people spread apart on a set meant to look like a shrunken convention floor.

The Democratic National Convention (DNC) continued for a third night on Wednesday. We at PJ Media have been subjecting ourselves to this torture so you don’t have to. Check out our liveblogs from Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and follow us live Thursday night.
Without further ado, here’s a recap of the third night.
1. Obama acted like he didn’t try to keep Biden from running
So, former President Barack Obama endorsed his former vice president, Joe Biden. Obama said, “Twelve years ago, when I began my search for a vice president, I didn’t know that I’d end up finding a brother.” He failed to mention

Alexei Navalny, the prominent Russian anti-corruption activist and outspoken critic of Vladimir Putin, was reportedly “poisoned with a toxin” and rushed in an unconscious state to the hospital on Wednesday night, according to his press secretary.
“This morning Navalny was returning to Moscow from Tomsk. On the flight he started feeling ill. The plane made an emergency landing in Omsk. Alexei has been poisoned with a toxin. Right now we’re in an ambulance on the way to the hospital,” tweeted press secretary Kira Yarmish, who later said her boss was in the ICU.

Attorney General Barr announced today that at least 217 people have been charged with a federal crime, and more than 1,000 have been arrested in major metropolitan cities, since the Department of Justice launched Operation Legend in July. The operation is named after 4-year-old LeGend Taliferro, who was shot and killed in his sleep on June 29 in Kansas City, Missouri. The Kansas City police announced the arrest of a suspect in Taliferro’s murder last week.
Operation Legend targets traditional serious crime. It is not directed at crime resulting from the civil unrest sparked by BLM and Antifa.

In her Wednesday DNC convention speech, Hillary Clinton implied that a “foreign adversary” could sway the U.S. elections, and suggested that an electoral college victory without a corresponding popular vote win would render the victor’s election illegitimate.
“Vote for honest elections, so we, not a foreign adversary, choose our president,” Clinton implored viewers. “And don’t forget, Joe and Kamala can win by three million votes and still lose–take it from me. So we need numbers [to be] overwhelming so Trump can’t sneak or steal his way to victory.”
Since losing the 2016 election, Clinton has repeatedly implied that President Trump has colluded with Russia both during and after his election victory.

On a couple of occasions, we have lamented the lack of arrests being made following the mass looting and destruction taking place when “peaceful protests” transform into riots after dark in several American cities. This is particularly true in Chicago, where even Mayor Lori Lightfoot has complained that the rioters who destroyed and emptied the Miracle Mile seemed to have “no fear of consequences” for their actions. Well, perhaps there is a light at the end of this particular tunnel. The Chicago PD has managed to arrest one of the looters from the Miracle Mile carnage on Monday, August 10.

The Democrats’ convention is painful to watch — a display of nonstop demagoguery about “saving the planet” from pols who can’t even save America’s cities. Pundits purr that the Democrats offer a “return to normalcy.” But almost everything about their agenda is abnormal — from leaving America’s border open to defunding the police to imposing transgenderism on America’s youth. The Democrats take no interest in the basic requirements of running a country and instead tout what ruins one. Notice how little they talk about the essential functions of government while blathering on about extraneous ones. The party of lockdowns, shutdowns, and national mask mandates

The timing could not have been more inconvenient for Democrats. The day before they eulogized the Black Lives Matter movement and elevated it to the centerpiece of their national convention, a white man was dragged out of his pickup truck by BLM protesters, kicked in the head and beaten almost to death.
Even more inconvenient was the fact that the victim, laborer Adam Haner, had been trying to stop these “mostly peaceful” social-justice warriors from attacking a transgender woman at the time. You couldn’t make it up.

In December of 2007, Washington Post columnist David Broder began a column this way: “Barack Obama has become a one-trick pony. But what a trick it is!”
Broder went on to summarize the rookie senator’s marvelous stump speech in the presidential race. He called the performance “a thing of beauty, a 40-minute oration delivered without notes that is powering his gains in the Iowa caucuses on Jan. 3 and the first primary here in New Hampshire five days later. Hillary Clinton has nothing to match it.”

Judge Judy is taking legal action on the other side of the bench.
The 77-year-old television personality -- full name Judy Sheindlin -- has slapped Rebel Entertainment Partners (REP) with a lawsuit seeking over $22 million for declaratory relief and alleging unlawful business practices and unjust enrichment, according to Deadline.
The filing comes just two weeks after REP filed a $5 million complaint citing breach of contract against Sheindlin and a handful of CBS entities over claims that disgraced former CBS boss, Les Moonves, did some corporate sleight-of-hand to avoid answering to the network’s Board of Directors that resulted in it not getting the money it believes it's owed.

The attacker being sought by Portland authorities for allegedly knocking a man out cold during a chaotic demonstration over the weekend has a lengthy criminal record that includes arrests for domestic assault and criminal trespass.
Marquise Love, 25, has been arrested in Washington County, Ore., which borders Portland to the west, seven times since 2012, according to records provided to Fox News.
In 2017, he was arrested for domestic assault and domestic harassment. He wasn't prosecuted, The New York Post reported, but a judge signed a protective order against him.
His rap sheet also includes two separate arrests in 2016 for providing false information in connection with the transfer of a firearm,

China is hitting back at the growing crackdown on smartphone maker Huawei, calling the US the “empire of hackers.”
In a statement following the US’ new restrictions on the smartphone giant’s access to crucial components, China Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said that President Xi Jinping objected to the “discrediting” of Chinese companies by the US. President Trump on Monday dubbed Huawei “Spywei” in comments on Fox News.
Zhao said that the US “has been abusing their state power in the name of national security,”

Parents of students who attend Rutherford County Schools (RCS) must agree not to monitor their child’s online classroom sessions. Officials at all county schools are asking parents to sign forms agreeing not to watch these virtual classes. The Tennessee Star received a copy of such a form this week. “RCS strives to present these opportunities in a secure format that protects student privacy to the greatest extent possible, however because these meetings will occur virtually RCS is limited in its ability to fully control certain factors such as non-student observers that may be present in the home of a student participating in the virtual meeting,” according to the form.
