It's peak summer and hotter than the blazes up and down California. In some places it is the blazes.
And with the state's greenie mandates, instead of nice air conditioning like what other people have, rolling blackouts have begun, same as you find in third-world countries.
It's hot as hell. The Sahara has nothing on this California heat:
On Sunday, the mercury potentially hit 130F (54.4C) in California’s Death Valley National Park – a temperature that could become the hottest ever recorded on Earth.

I would laugh at this but if JoHo prevail we will all be in the same boat. The only ways to produce electricity in the levels need by modern industrial societies: nuclear, hydroelectric, and fossil fuels. Wind and solar just can't do it. Where I worked the AC would go out during peak summer days and I would go to the computer center. The big main frame computers were expensive and had to be cooled so the computer center had functioning AC. When I would complain I was told "People lived before air conditioning."

Indeed...my husband’s radio stations have gas powered generators on site to keep their enormous, gazillion $ servers running in blackouts/brownouts. These enviro-wackos have no idea about real life and how things work! So stupid. Brown is a moron. I’ll set my A/C where I want it, loser—YOU caused this problem!

Bought gas for $1.65 this morning out here in Free America, and the fools in Cali are sweltering with no AC because of the "benefits of Green Energy".
Green Energy is no energy at all.
Gasoline and nat gas are plentiful and cheap thanks to Trump...but not in the People's Republic of California.

Unlike great capitalistic states like Texas, where even though we have had about a month straight of triple-digit temperatures, we love oil and have had no issue with having enough electricity to power our entire state.
Eat that, socialist scum!!!!

And for the good conservative people in California, yes, we know you are there and we don't hate you, actually do feel sorry for you, just despise your hideous state government.

"Death Valley famously holds the record for the hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth, which is 134 degrees. This record was set on July 10, 1913." Have thermometers changed somehow? How could this measurement "become" the hottest ever recorded on earth? Do they mean when big tech memory holes the previous record to push the new green deal? Years ago, I found a long New York Times article from 1903 talking about how the arctic was melting and all the seals were gonna die. Can anyone find it today? How about how the ocean temperature soundings from British ship navigating the globe for centuries debunked the estimates made by global warming advocates. Can anyone find it?

We left California for good when asshat moonbeam said “this is the new normal, get used to it”...about the fires and PG&E.
First lived in Cali in 1967
It began to go to hell around 1985
Now it’s not the same California anymore
Bastid lefties like “moonbeam” ruined it
Go sleep in your Plymouth you asshat!
What a typical democrat fool..like Newsom
That state needs Republican candidates!

If the idiots that run this place had not done away with electricity being generated by natural gas, we would not be having a problem right now. The amount that was being generated is more than the shortfall. This is a politically manufactured crisis, and now the politicians in CA can declare there is an energy crisis (of their own intentional making) and now it is time to expand our green energy production. So get ready for more and more solar farms, wind turbine farms, and higher and higher energy bills. The basstads!

Moonbeam retired to a rural county in northern California where he does not have to live with the effects of his policies. More liberal hypocrisy.
If it's Brown, flush it.

#9, I just saw an article, a video, on the tricks used to cite statistics. Usually, they cherry picked a date to start their figures, ignoring previous dates that didn't jive with what they wanted. Such as showing temperatures from say, the 70s on, but ignoring the higher temps in the 30's and before. Same with the Arctic ice. This was on Whatfinger website. Should still be there.

Democrats want us to get used to living as inhabitants of a third world country. Jimmy Carter addressed the energy crisis by telling us to turn down the thermostats and wear a jacket at home in the wintertime. It was that moment that I decided to extract myself from the democrat party. I changed my registration to republican, voted for Ronald Reagan, and never voted for a democrat since then. As Sir Winston Churchill observed, "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." That is what the democrats have to offer.

Two things: his remarks and commands are a preview of what a socialist admin would sound like. Also with these clowns, they are of the impression history started the day they were born. Take note revisionist history is very important to them which is why it's taught to our young.

Welcome back Carter. That was his idea way back when. Ironic that his suggestion then didn't win him reelection. So on the finale of the rat convention will the insane leftists have a moment of sweltering silence in memory of Jimmah?

I want state auditors to check Jerry Brown's office and home thermostats once a month, and turn them up.

#19 I remember Carter’s televised winter fireside chat telling us all to turn our Thermostats down. He was wearing a heavy sweater. Maybe Newsom should do a speech in shorts and a tank top in case Californians don’t know to dress for the weather.

More sane people in CA and NY and any other 'blue' state should register as a democRAT. This would do a couple of things. It would make the rats think they have those states locked down. It would mean they spend money sending propaganda to people who aren't going to vote for any rat for any office and they would not bother with any independent or fringe party.
When the primaries come you get to vote for the weakest rat in each office. Then when the general election comes vote straight Republican. It's often a meaningless gesture when a few big cities ruin a state, but sometimes, in some states, you can shock the world. Plus after a juicy argument you can truthfully say you are a registered rat and enjoy the stunned expressions.
