WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump plans to start holding campaign rallies again in the next two weeks, a Trump campaign official said on Monday, ending a three-month hiatus brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.Trump, who thrives on the energy from packed arenas, has not held a rally since March 2 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and aides describe him as chomping at the bit to get out and start campaigning again ahead of the Nov. 3 US presidential election. It was unclear exactly when or where Trump’s first rally will be and the official, confirming a report in Politico, said safety measures for attendees were still being worked out.

DENVER (AP) — Backers of a proposed initiative to ban abortions at 22 weeks in Colorado have collected enough signatures to put the measure on the November ballot, the secretary of state’s office said Monday.
The group behind the initiative, Due Date Too Late, collected 153,204 valid voter signatures, more than the 124,632 signatures required, the secretary’s office said.
The proposal on what proponents call late-term abortions would make it illegal for anyone to perform an abortion when a fetus is at 22 weeks of gestation or later.

The family of George Floyd, the black man killed while in police custody in Minneapolis on Memorial Day, has sent a letter to the globalist United Nations to ask for its help in disarming police officers in the United States of America.
The family’s legal team facilitated the letter, which was sent on Wednesday, according to NBC News:
The group sent a letter on June 3 to one of the international body’s working groups asking for support for the end of the provision of military equipment and military-type training for police, the teaching of deescalation techniques, independent prosecutions and autopsies for “extrajudicial” police killings, and more.

Sometimes big political developments arrive in the country like Sandburg’s fog, on little cat feet, silent and unnoticed until they envelop the nation. The emergence of Donald Trump four years ago is an example. Though a loud and clamorous candidate, he seemed to many like a kind of political clown destined for defeat. Establishment politicians believed almost to a person that the “blue wall” of Democratic electoral dominance would hold against this guy. The Midwest would stay solid, and Hillary Clinton would win the presidency.

A source close to Brees told NBC Sports’ Peter King that seeing the New Orleans Saints quarterback blasted from all corners of social media reminded him of the book “Lord of the Flies.”
The comparison struck the wrong chord with some readers and King responded to feedback by removing the note. The longtime NFL reporter tweeted: “I am removing the reference to ‘Lord of the Flies’ upon hearing from so many who found it offensive. I apologize for using it. Yesterday the new black panderers organized a million Antifa march with the Black Lives Matter crowd in Washington DC. Unfortunately, they fell approximately 990,000 people short of the million person goal; only about 10,000 marchers present.
The window of exploitation & opportunity is closing even faster than we expected.
Not surprisingly the media hyped the thousands that did attend resulting in a skewed reality that was/is disconnected from the actual result. In media you would think there was a massive alignment of social interests. However, if you look at the reception rate for the message, there’s a big disconnect.

Dorn was found on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound outside Lee’s Pawn and Jewelry on June 2. St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner announced on Sunday that 24-year-old Stephan Cannon has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and three counts of armed criminal action as well as being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Sen. Lindsey Graham says that he plans on calling former FBI Director James Comey and former deputy director Andrew McCabe to testify before his Senate Judiciary Committee, because he doubts they were unaware the dossier compiled by ex-British spy Christopher Steele had been debunked before it was used to get a FISA warrant to monitor former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. After former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein denied having knowledge of any altered documents or that the Steele dossier had been disavowed beforehand, McCabe responded by saying that Rosenstein’s claim that he was misled by him or anyone else at the FBI “are completely false.”

Former First Lady Michelle Obama took a break from lounging around in her $15 million Martha’s Vineyard estate to encourage angry left-wing graduates to go protest in the streets. Michelle Obama on Sunday delivered remarks in a virtual commencement speech to 2020 high school and college graduates. She encouraged the young graduates to mobilize and become community organizers to bring radical change following the death of George Floyd.“In light of the current state of our country, I struggled to find the right words of wisdom for you today,”

A white caller into the Rush Limbaugh radio show prefaced his call by saying he is a conservative and Trump-supporter. Then he said his 18-year-old daughter changed his mind, causing him to be sympathetic to the George Floyd protesters. Rush said, "We have no idea what it is like being black and seeing a cop in your rearview mirror."Well, I am a black man who has been pulled over by police numerous times in my 70 years. My first thought was what did I do wrong, not my skin color. Except for one jerk, every officer was polite and professional.

Author and Hoover Institution senior fellow Shelby Steele on Sunday sounded off on the goal of the George Floyd protests, some of which have turned violent after Floyd died in Minneapolis police custody. Steele told Mark Levin of Fox News Channel’s “Life, Liberty & Levin” that the protests are about “power” and victimhood, which he said has led to black people in the United States feeling “entitled.” “I think that what is really happening is nothing really new. The civil rights argument that triggered this, that there was police abuse and so forth, was a very familiar story — we saw that in Ferguson, Missouri, and elsewhere.

The mainstream media would have you think the riots and looting that have erupted across the country are just spontaneous explosions of pent-up anger over the callous killing of a black suspect, at the hands of a blue-city Minneapolis police officer.
Well, I've covered a lot of riots - from Indonesia, to Argentina, to Russia, to East Timor, to Thailand, to Venezuela, plus domestic ones in Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Francisco - as a journalist. The one thing that's always come out in the aftermath is that none of these mass rioting and looting events were ever simple

Awful ideas have sprung up from the craziness of this annus horribilis like poison mushrooms after spring rain. But no idea is as bad as Big City mayors and their D.C. Democrat allies calling for the abolition of police departments. Do they not understand that, without enforcement, there can be no rule of law? Or is that the idea?
The left’s war on the very idea of the law now seemingly knows no bounds.
Politicians have all but declared open season on their police departments, even as they decry the mayhem, chaos, death and destruction from more than a week

A Georgia law enforcement officer refused to kneel for protesters at a Black Lives Matter rally in Hartwell, Georgia on Sunday.
Instead, Georgia State Trooper O’Neal Saddler was recorded telling a female protester that he only kneels “for one person, and that’s God.”
The video, which was first posted to Facebook by Ni’Rubyan Photography, was shared Saturday on Twitter by Students for Trump President Ryan Fournier. (Snip)“I was supposed to be out of town this weekend with my wife,” Saddler was seen telling a female protester after she apparently asked him to kneel.

For way too long, too many conservatives and other normal people have failed to deploy our most potent weapon in the defense of free thought and expression – the utter refusal to go along with the demands of the carnivorous left. As has been said before by me and others, we need to introduce these spoiled brats to the concept of “no.”
This is a critical moment, and how we react now will determine if our future is citizenship or serfdom. The Democrats’ kinetic operation that was the rioting has failed, the violent thuggery egged-on and enabled by half-wit MSNBCNN talk-holes, feckless lefty pols, and the blue check jerk-stapo

Liberty University president Jerry Falwell Jr., in a recent podcast interview, said Democrats are making it easy for Republicans this November — that a conservative sweep, due to COVID-19 crackdown madness and George Floyd-inspired out-of-control rioting, is in the works and too bad, so sad, but that’s the way the liberal cookie crumbles.
And he’s right. And Democrats have to know their time is short. Why else would they tip so many loony card hands all at once?
It’s desperado on full display.

We all know the story of the Emperor’s New Clothes. It is not just a children’s story. Rather, it is an eternal story about human nature. If people are surrounded by a mass or a mob who speak nonsense as a Truth — with a capital “T” — then perfectly sensible people who internally know better will fall into line and babble the same “Truth.” For a reality check and sanity in the public arena, it ultimately often takes a little kid who simply has not been taught social conformity and political correctness to look and say “But this ‘Truth’ simply is not true.”

Desperate times call for desperate measures, as the saying goes. As the presidential election nears, Democrats, the media, and NeverTrumpers realize that President Trump is still popular, incredibly at 40 percent approval among likely black voters according to Rasmussen. Their chosen candidate, Joe Biden, belongs in a memory-care center rather than the White House (snip) Several media stories, presented as gospel, are now crumbling as fast as the Russian collusion fable which we heard about non-stop for four years from the DNC cable news networks.

At some point during the Obama administration it appears to have occurred to the left that its time had finally come and its patience was about to be fully rewarded.
Between the Gramscian march through so many of society’s institutions, the “fundamental transformation” Obama was working on, the coming-of-age of generations steeped in leftist education (including legal education), the mainstreaming of identity and grievance politics, and, most importantly of all, the full cooperation of the MSM and its heartfelt embrace of ends-justify-means lies, the left felt itself to be on the threshold of total dominance of American politics for the foreseeable future. In fact, it virtually knew itself to be there.

Having experienced first-hand the death and devastation caused by the ascent to power of Hitler and the Nazis, I see many frightening parallels between the ongoing efforts to foment revolution in America and the takeover of Germany by the Nazis. Hitler deployed his militant arm, the Sturmabteilung or Brown Shirts, to take advantage of any unrest in order to intimidate, foment riots, and initiate violence and looting. (snip) Hitler successfully indoctrinated a significant segment of the population to believe all their problems were created by another group of citizens-- the Jews.

Black lives matter. Unfortunately, they don’t matter to blacks as much as they should. If they did, the number of blacks killed by other blacks would be much, much lower.
And what about the black lives that have been lost at the hands of protesters and rioters this past week? Willis Krumholz identifies the known cases.
There’s retired St. Louis police captain David Dorn, who was shot and killed while protecting a friend’s store from rioters and looters. There’s Italia Marie Kelly, who was killed in a shooting in Iowa when the crowd of protesters became unruly. There’s Chris Beaty, who was shot and killed when he tried to stop thugs

By last Monday, the riots and protests over the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police had spread to over one hundred American cities. On that day, President Trump gave a short speech in which he castigated the governors and mayors who hadn’t put down the riots. He said that he might invoke the Insurrection Act and put federal troops into rioting cities to quell the violence.
That evening, Trump walked to St. John’s Episcopal Church across Pennsylvania Avenue from the White House, with Defense Secretary Mark Esper and a camo-clad Gen. Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, in tow.

Let me just tell what I see or what I feel when the National Anthem is played and when I look at the flag of the United States. Given the current unrest surrounding the death of George Floyd, it’s not surprising to learn that yet another rally is being planned in D.C. But this one is being announced well in advance, scheduled to take place on August 28th, the anniversary of the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream” speech given 57 years ago. Unfortunately for those interested in participating, the host of this rally is perpetual opportunist Al Sharpton. Any time there is any sort of unrest involving issues of race, you can always expect Al Sharpton to show up and find a way to continue promoting himself,

A New Mexico treasure hunter revealed that his chest of gold, jewels and other valuables worth over $1 million has been found.
Ten years ago, Forrest Fenn gained a cult following when he announced that he had hidden the chest somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. He inspired tens of thousands to set out in search of his treasure, but the prize eluded everyone -- until now.
Fenn revealed to the Santa Fe New Mexican on Sunday that a man, who wished to remain anonymous, had discovered the chest a few days ago. The unnamed hunter sent Fenn a photo of the chest to confirm his discovery.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey on Sunday reiterated that he doesn't support abolishing the city's police force, hours after a veto-proof majority of members of the Minneapolis City Council said they want to take that drastic step in the wake of the in-custody death of George Floyd.
Frey, who ordered a police station to evacuate as rioters burned it to the ground last month, was shouted down by a large gathering of demonstrators near his home on Saturday when he defied their demands to shutter the city's police forces entirely.
"I'll work relentlessly with Chief [Medaria] Arradondo and alongside community toward deep, structural reform and addressing systemic racism in police culture,"

Graffiti was sprayed on the statue former prime minister Sir Winston Churchill in Westminster to add the words “was a racist”. A smaller group of people stood around the statue in an apparent attempt to protect it.
