A Minneapolis manufacturing company has decided to leave the city, with the company's owner saying he can't trust public officials who allowed his plant to burn during the recent riots. The move will cost the city about 50 jobs. "They don't care about my business," said Kris Wyrobek, president and owner of 7-Sigma Inc., which has operated since 1987 at 2843 26th Av. in south Minneapolis.(Snip)He said a production supervisor and a maintenance worker who live in the neighborhood became alarmed when fire broke out at the $30 million Midtown Corner affordable housing apartment complex that was under construction next door.
"Never bite the hand that feeds you" See those jobs and tax dollars leaving ? They will not be the only ones.
Politicians have no clue about self employment.

Someone with some sense. Just like hurricanes or tornados, protests always come back. Once is enough!

You really want to see businesses flee your city, disband your police department.
I know that is logical, so lie-berals just won't understand it until there are no stores to shop at, 75% if the jobs in your city disappear, and your tax revenues go down to $0. But then they will just blame it on President Trump and/or racism.

This city is lost. If you live in the area and don’t like this, NOW is the time to get out while you can. Liquidate your real estate and leave ASAP. You have no time to waste. Nothing can save this city.
This city is lost to the enemy. If you live in the area, NOW is the time to get out while you can. Liquidate your real estate and leave ASAP. You have no time to waste. Nothing can save this city. It will only get worse as the good people leave.

Wyrobek doesn't realize it now, but he is lucky to have been pushed into moving. It is something he should have done earlier. He will find it is the best thing he could have done.

There will be many more companies bailing. Count on it.
These fools have really made the city a dangerous and uneconomic place to do business.

We are "so proud" of our progressivism here in Minneapolis/St Paul! Now it will show it's true colors as the city depends into a model that will make Detroit look inviting! I will never set foot into Minneapolis again! The people in the lakes area of the city will watch as their property values plummet from a million dollar home to one that won't sell for $100,000.00 because there are no police to protect it! Edina (Every Day I Need Attention), MN. will be the next city to burn! It will be a shock to all the "cake eaters"! We moved from Iowa in 1986 and left Edina after a year. I never had to get dressed properly before entering a men's clothing store before Edina...never did...never will! Have been buying from the same sales guy in the western burbs for 30 years after leaving the wretched Edina!!! Good luck folks!

And, #4, tell the folks escaping the chaos and death in Minneapolis to leave their Liberal/Left worldview behind in Minnesota.

I hope it is just the first of many business to leave the area.
While the company will take only 50 workers out, consider the collateral losses to the support business - grocery, drugstores, gas stations etc.....!

I can think of a lot of towns in Texas who would be happy to talk to Mr Wyrobek about relocating his company -- and his valued employees here.

Those democrat ran cities and states remind me of the movie "Mad Max". Let the businesses go and relocate and get rid of the police force. That will fix everything. BLM has the answer. And when these cities become like the movie Mad Max, what happens to the innocent people that can't leave.

Was probably a good employer of local workers. Gone also will be the tax revenue they provided the city. Blacks need to police their own thugs and form community watch organizations with some "teeth."

So .... with the recent news .... who will they find to sell their properties to if they want to leave. Did Detroit inhabitants sell theirs or just walked away? I know the answer.

Article says the peaceful black protests in Bde Maka Skedaddle were second in damage costs only to the 1992 black race riots in Los Angeles. In the latter black riots, a group of Koreans, quickly realizing government assistance was nowhere to be found, ably defended their businesses from the rooftops, using rifles and shotguns.
