Washington - Democrats knelt in silent tribute to George Floyd in the US Congress on Monday before unveiling a package of sweeping police reforms in response to the killing of African Americans by law enforcement. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer were joined by two dozen lawmakers in Congress' Emancipation Hall--named in honor of the slaves who helped erect the US Capitol in the 18th century. A statement from Kathryn Limbaugh and family said Rush Hudson Limbaugh III was honorably laid to rest Wednesday in St. Louis, with close immediate family in attendance. There will be additional celebrations of Rush's life to come both virtually and in his home town of Cape Girardeau, the statement said.

The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man.
Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.

Last week a group of Oberlin, Ohio faith leaders were outraged at what they termed a very symbolic photo-op by President Trump standing in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church with a Bible held high in his hand. They were so outraged they denounced it as an act of self-glorification and that it must be condemned as blasphemous and unconstitutional, and wrote a letter to two Ohio Senators and an Ohio House member calling for formal censure proceedings against President Trump. Well, lookee here! Might it be appropriate to consider this to be a self-glorification photo-op by Democrat lawmakers?
