Eighteen people were killed in Chicago in a 24-hour span last month — the deadliest day in the Windy City in roughly six decades, according to a report. (Snip) The grim tally made May 31 the single most violent day Chicago has endured in roughly 60 years, according to data provided to the newspaper by the University of Chicago Crime Lab. “We’ve never seen anything like it, at all,” the crime lab’s senior research director, Max Kapustin, told the newspaper. “I don’t even know how to put it into context. It’s beyond anything that we’ve ever seen before.” Data from the lab does not pre-date 1961, but the next-highest single-day

So? Disband the police and let The Community have at it. Once the blood is washed into the sewers the violence will be done, and the strongest crime gangs running the streets. That's what Chicago's voters want...give it to them good and hard! Democracy at work.

Either the cops were busy elsewhere or they just don't bother much anymore. Probably the latter. Let the law of the jungle prevail.

Welcome to the jungle, it gets worse here everyday You learn to live like an animal in the jungle where we play If you got a hunger for what you see, you'll take it eventually You can have anything you want, but you better not take it from me - Guns N' Roses 18 black-on-black murders is a black thing but that's okay because, in the jungle, there's no room for white things.

Lawlessness tends to spike when the criminal element doesn't worry about the police showing up to stop them. Good luck with the "brown shirts" patrolling your streets.

And clearly the best possible solution is to close down the police department. That's obvious. (/s off) When they do it, it will put a permanent set of irrefutable data into the record books, and they will never be able to try this idiot stunt again. But it will cost a lot of lives. Probably mostly black lives....which apparently, counter to all the rhetoric, do NOT actually matter to them.

“On Saturday and particularly Sunday, I heard people saying all over, ‘Hey, there’s no police anywhere, police ain’t doing nothing,’” the Rev. Michael Pfleger of St. Sabina Church told the Sun-Times. “I sat and watched a store looted for over an hour. No police came. I got in my car and drove around to some other places getting looted [and] didn’t see police anywhere.” Rev. Mike should be ecstatic that the cops aren't a visible presence. For those with a short memory, Rev. Michael Pfleger is a hard left activist in Chicago and a big supporter of Obama's 2008 POTUS campaign.

I'd say that this could turn Chicago into a Republican stronghold, but there probably is a new Chicago ordinance that automatically requires the dead to cast absentee ballots for the Democrat master ... oops, I mean politicians for at least 80 years after their death. I remember being told a joke so many years ago. A ship sinks and the only three survivors on the only life raft are Richard Nixon, Lyndon Johnson, and ol' Dick Daley, the long-time Mayor of Chicago. There is only enough provisions for one of them to survive. Being politicians, they decide the best way to determine the survivor is to have a campaign and an election. So, they each campaign and cast their secret ballots. When the ballots are counted, Nixon got one vote. LBJ got three, and Mayor Daley got seven.

Don't take away the Windy City's claim to fame! The weekend murder rate was always a statistic published on Monday morning, giving a sort of left handed compliment to the high count. If you start bringing attention to it, they'll have to look for another reason to make the news. It is difficult enough to atone for being Obama's home.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
