Wow! Minneapolis City Council President
Says Calling the Police on Burglars “Comes
from a Place of Privilege” (Video)

After nearly two weeks of violence, mayhem, and rioting in Minneapolis, the City Council on Sunday voted on their intent to disband the police department. The wild proposal would invest in “community-led public safety” instead of police officers.“We are here today because George Floyd was killed by the Minneapolis Police Department. We are also here because, here in Minneapolis and in cities across the United States, it is clear that our existing system of policing and public safety isn’t working for so many of our neighbors,”

Morons. They have a city charter, akin to a constitution. It calls for the city council to have a police force, and have the number of officers be a minimum number per capita. It also calls for those officers to be real police officers. (a)The departments generally. The City Council must establish, organize, and otherwise provide for these departments: ...11. a police department (section 7.3); AND (c) Funding. The City Council must fund a police force of at least 0.0017 employees per resident, and provide for those employees' compensation, for which purpose it may tax the taxable property in the City up to 0.3 percent of its value annually. This tax is in addition to any other tax, and not subject to the maximum set under section 9.3(a)(4). No way around this without it going to the people to vote. Good luck with that.

It amazes me that so many low IQ people become public servents. But then again it doesn't. Can't find work out in the real world so look out here we come. Morons marching in the streets making insane demands and the 'elites" actually doing it. Somehow I don't think anyone has thought this through. Dear Lord it is going to be hell on earth. Lock and load America. If blacks think it is bad now just wait. The biggest threat to a black man's life is another black man. Chicago will become Beirut in short order.

Just wait until someone doxes the home addresses of the City Council members and the looting begins. They will change their tune. Unless, of course, they are privileged to have private Security guards to protect them and their property. Some animals are more privileged than others.

Good defund the Police, Minneapolis. If the voters are so monumentally stupid and brainwashed to elect this hard core, cold hearted, hair needs brushing, communist moron as City Council President, who is championing this suicidal notion of disbanding the police department, then the voters need to learn the hard way that they must live in perpetual fear every single day as a result of their votes. Not only will they be preyed on by violent criminals but they will also be preyed on by the democrat communist party commissars and thought police seizing and distributing their property and wealth and while also severely punishing anyone who dares speak out for thought crimes. Why aren't the businesses and merchants marching on City Hall? All of the taxpayers? To the president of the Minneapolis City Council I say you go girl, defund the police. I am sure the City Council members will then pass a vote funding private body guards to protect them and their homes for life. Down with Antifa, Black Lives Matter and the democrat communist party. Traitors all. Take America back and make it great again. We are the silent majority and we will push back twice as hard as we are being pushed today.

Well, there's no doubt about the Minneapolis Police Department needing its house cleaned. The same force that employed Derek Chauvin also employed Mohamed Noor, the Somali cop who murdered Justine Damond, an unarmed white woman, while she was trying to report a crime. Shot her at point blank range. (Somehow I don't remember the riots by white people protesting her killing.)

Years ago in West Texas we used to call a bigmouth know nothing entity like the Minneapolis city council, “dummies” that are “all hat and no cattle”. The voters in Minneapolis should vote out those clowns after watching them back off abolishing the police department there. What they may do before they call it a day is superficially change the name of the police force, and call the current position of police officer by some gentler name.

If you have a Shovel and a Shotgun, You ain't got no problem at all! I'm beginning to think that Cartoon, funny as it was, is the way this country is headed. We are about to become the Wild, Wild West again! If those in leadership in MN and NY and LA think they won't NEED the Police someday, they are even more out of touch that I thought. The Looters will eventually run out of good stuff to steal, and then they're going to come for YOURS! No Police? Chances are they don't have guns in their houses either, so Hmmmmm. What will they do? Since announcing his candidacy for President in 2015, Donald Trump has dominated the national news cycle — largely to the benefit of legacy media companies. As a growing amount of their airtime centered upon their hatred of the businessman turned politician, many witnessed sharp increases in their audience sizes. The New York Times, for instance, saw more subscriptions in the last three months of 2016 than all of 2015 combined. During election week in 2020, CNN saw a 135% increase in viewership over the first week of November 2019. After the inauguration of President Biden, however, legacy media saw double-digit drops in their viewership.

Democrats call their current massive spending bill a "COVID relief" bill, but the half-trillion-dollar bailout of state governments has nothing to do with COVID-19 relief. Plenty of states are doing poorly fiscally, but generally, this has nothing to do with the pandemic and everything to do with their own mismanagement. This was a disputed point back in the spring, but no more. The numbers are in. The coronavirus has not left most states struggling for revenue the way people originally expected. The Congressional Budget Office is anticipating 4.6% economic growth in 2021. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
