NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. was taken to a local hospital after a plane that he boarded crashed as it was landing at the Elizabethton Municipal Airport on Thursday afternoon, Carter County Sheriff's Office spokesman Thomas Gray confirmed. July spending more than doubled expectations.July results were +0.7 percent, against the economic forecast of +.03 percent. Williamsburg, Brooklyn — Two men were arrested Wednesday night in connection to the attacks of Jewish men in Brooklyn earlier this week, police said. Deandre Diagle and Michael Bellevue were taken into custody and face charges of robbery and assault, police said. Diagle, 19, and Bellevue, 20, are accused of assaulting three Jewish men in three attempted robberies in Williamsburg Monday morning. During each incident, the victims were punched in the face and their pockets were searched, police said. No property was stolen in any of the attacks, according to police.

An Afghan asylum seeker who tried to murder a complete stranger while 'fuelled' by a desire to kill English people was jailed for 21 years. Samiulahaq Akbari, 22, was caught on CCTV walking into the Tesco Extra in Thornton Heath, south London, on January 8. Akbari tapped a customer on the shoulder and asked for his nationality. He then took a swing at the victim, Mr Speight, with a ten-inch kitchen knife when he said he was from the UK. Mr Speight managed to kick Akbari off when he leapt on him and miraculously escaped from the scuffle without a mark on him.

The number of acres burned in California through the beginning of August 2019 is 26 times less than the number of acres burned at the same point in 2018, according to new statistics from Cal Fire. Through August 11 of this year, 23,748 acres of California land not controlled by the federal government had burned. At the same point last year, 618,996 acres had burned. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 39% of American Adults say they or someone in their household has a gun, down from 44% in February of last year. Even though it was the fourth attack on ICE offices in just the past four weeks, and these attacks are clearly politically motivated. The San Antonio shooter knew what he was doing. The department said the man was in custody and a SWAT team was clearing the house just after midnight Thursday. As the active shooter situation continues to unfold in Philadelphia, The Gateway Pundit has learned that a well known Islamic mosque had planned an anti police protest for tomorrow.The image posted around on the facebook group for the Majlis Ash Shura Islamic center reads “Join the rally against racist Phila police officers” it reads in large font, with “Those in service to us making terrorist and racist threats against muslims or blacks on social media or elsewhere! We will not stand for this!” on the side.This posting was made just a few hours before the armed standoff began:

Are taxpayers funding academic institutions to indoctrinate our kids? That disturbing and irresistible question plagued me during the long drive home last week from college orientation. I doubt I am alone in this wake-up call. Like many other women, I just sent my youngest child to college. I am so proud of him and his decision to join the Army ROTC and study engineering. He will be attending a revered Virginia institution known for its military Corps of Cadets program.The centerpiece of the campus is the military parade field featuring beautiful pylons bearing the school’s founding principles: words such as “honor,” “duty,” “brotherhood,” and “ut prosim” (that I may serve).

The perspective is that of Abraham Socher, currently Editor of the Jewish Review of Books. Pertinent to this discussion, Socher is a former Oberlin College Associate Professor of Religion and Director of Jewish Studies, where he taught for 18 years. In March 2016, when still at the college, Socher wrote in the student-run Oberlin Review about Joy Karega, whose anti-Semitic conspiracy rants on Facebook were another in an long line of Oberlin College scandals, Karega-Mason’s Facebook Posts Anti-Semitic.
