Having worked there, and other sites, as a civilian employee/contractor with a high level security clearance and near unlimited access....you know from DAY ONE, long before you get anywhere on or near a base that talking about what you see, hear, or do is a serious criminal offense, you have to swear in writing as well as often on audio/video that you understand the risks and consequences of having the HONOR of being employed in any form or fashion within that World. It's pretty simple. All federal employees and members of the military are forbidden from communicating with the media on government matters except those in the Public Affairs Office of the Agency in which they are employed. There is no confusion about this. Leakers know exactly what they are doing, and for the most part it is sabotage.

When Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed under American and Israeli bombardment last month, a few dozen activists gathered in New York to mourn him. Cameras outnumbered candles — yet the moment generated nearly 19 million views on X and led broadcasts on CBS, ABC and Fox News. The gap between who showed up and who was watching is the whole story. It was far from organic; it was engineered. The Network Contagion Research Institute spent months mapping the pipeline behind moments like this. At its center is Press TV, an Iranian state broadcaster under US Treasury sanctions.

federal judge ruled Thursday that the Pentagon cannot impose its new press restrictions, which he claimed was an effort to negate his previous order. U.S. District Judge Paul Friedman last month dismissed parts of the Pentagon's guidelines released last year and ordered it to restore the press passes of seven journalists for the New York Times. The War Department then changed its protocols late last month for its media briefing room, which includes the relocation of reporters to workspace outside the Pentagon. Democratic New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has introduced a “racial equity plan” directing city resources to “black and brown New Yorkers” in an attempt to “confront institutional and systemic racism within our city.” The mayor’s policy proposal targets housing, health, and economic opportunities, and seeks to address disparities by prioritizing neighborhoods and residents that have supposedly been historically marginalized by economic or structural factors. Hamas remains fully committed to jihad (holy war) and rejects disarmament. The "Board of Peace" is therefore confronting a harsh reality: Hamas, like Iran, is not motivated by deadlines, incentives, or promises of reconstruction. It is motivated by ideology and by war. In Hamas's worldview, the war is not about the Gaza Strip. It is about reshaping the Middle East -- and beyond -- in its own image. Any policy based on the assumption that Hamas can be persuaded to disarm is simply detached from reality. The danger is that this rhetoric is designed to inflame public opinion in Arab and Islamic countries against their own governments,
