Cameras to replace beat cops. Yeah, great idea. Call 9-11: cops will be there shortly, if at all.

Brandon "No Johnson" Weakling is even weaker, mentally, than the retarded ex-'resident dementia patient from Delaware aka "Let's go, Brandon." The Weak One is terribly concerned. He's getting so doggoned concerned that his glasses are fogging up, and he might fall down. He cares. He absolutely cares. He devoutly wants you to think that, despite all appearances to the contrary. But his desperation doesn't really hurt him so badly--no brain, no pain--because he's only outwardly desperate. His real concern is for himself. DEI just has to work this time, or the world is a racist, proletarian entity. Weakling is the absolute bottom of the totem pole. Well, so far. I'm sure we haven't seen the worst that we will eventually see.

I was last in Chicago over 20 years ago, do not intend to return unless I can be legally armed, which seems exceedingly unlikely.

FYI - In the early decades of J Edgar hoover's FBI, car thefts were his major focus. He even denied the existence of the Mafia until 1956.

Re #4. Forget being armed. I wouldn't go back to Chicago without being accompanied by Seal Team 6 or a squad of Marines. Blue cities are going to start toppling like a string of dominoes. Individuals and businesses with the means and opportunity to leave are already renting U-Hauls. This is a looming tragedy and the blame is on the incompletence and corruption of so-called "leaders" and their clueless voters.

Those hoodied skinny teens are not called "the usual suspects" for no good reason. Steal a car, spend a few hours in jail, steal another one tomorrow. The most that Beanbrain Brandon's social workers can do is jot down the plate number as the car leaves the lot. Chicago residents do gain some benefit from this non-enforcement however, there are more parking spots available the next day. They also have choices 1) Eventually lose their own car. 2) Ride the El, get beaten up or murdered. 3) Ride the bus, get beaten up or murdered. 4) Walk, you know the story.

ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel was called out for mocking newly confirmed Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin as an "unqualified" plumber during his monologue Tuesday night. Maybe melon's better," Kimmel said. "He's the now former senator of Oklahoma. Before he was elected to the Senate, Markwayne Mullin was a low-level MMA fighter and a plumber. That's right. A CNN reporter was left stunned after security checkpoint wait times dropped from hours to minutes at a major Atlanta airport following President Trump’s deployed ICE agents to assist unpaid TSA agents. Senior National Correspondent Ryan Young reported in disbelief that the presence of unmasked immigration agents at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport sparked a dramatic shift, with travelers zipping through security after weeks of grueling lines amid the partial government shutdown. “Wolf, I almost can’t believe I’m able to say this, the times have dropped off tremendously this morning,” Young told anchor Wolf Blitzer Tuesday morning from inside the major

A California gubernatorial debate was canceled just hours before it was set to occur on Tuesday after mounting criticism that only white candidates in the crowded field had qualified for the event. The criteria to participate in the debate, which was set to be co-sponsored by the University of Southern California and the Los Angeles TV station KABC, had emerged in recent days as a source of controversy in the wide-open race to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom. The sprawling field includes eight prominent Democrats and two major Republicans, as well as several other lesser-known candidates. USC had faced condemnation for

Washington — The Senate confirmed Markwayne Mullin as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security on Monday, finalizing President Trump's shakeup of DHS following months of scrutiny of Kristi Noem's leadership. In a 54-45 vote, the Senate confirmed Mullin, an Oklahoma Republican who's been in the Senate since 2023. Democratic Sens. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania and Martin Heinrich of New Mexico voted in favor of Mullin's confirmation. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky was the sole Republican to oppose Mullin. The upheaval at DHS culminated in Noem's ouster as secretary earlier this month. Noem's handling of two deadly shootings by federal agents

After putting an aggressive redraw of the state’s congressional map before voters, some Virginia Democrats are growing uneasy about its prospects for passage one month out from the special election. When did getting from point A to point B get so complicated? When the government decided which cars Americans should buy. With the economic and scientific premises behind electric vehicle (EV) mandates collapsing, the EV bubble may burst completely. There is one mandate left to burst: California’s Advanced Clean Cars II (ACC II) regulation, which requires all new vehicles to be 100 percent electric by 2035, or else automakers get penalized. With the federal repeal of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s Endangerment Finding in February, the government’s formal scientific basis for EV mandates is gone. State governments no longer have a rational scientific basis for requiring EV sales.

What do you call it when a politician tells you to put elections “back on a level playing field” by voting for a redistricting map gerrymandered to give Democrats 10 seats to Republicans’ one? “Lying” doesn’t quite foot the bill. “Rank deception” is closer, but I think this kind of rhetoric calls for the big guns. I’ll settle on “shameless Orwellian gaslighting,” because supporting the Virginia redistricting push in the name of “fairness” involves redefining basic words in the same manner as the oppressive government in George Orwell’s “1984,” and this rhetorical strategy seems designed to make people with rational concerns about the ballot initiative question their sanity. Finding traces of these substances in a tropical place widely seen as idyllic and pristine is concerning – it seems there are vanishingly few spots on Earth where wildlife can escape our influence.
