On Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) said Democrats had “failed this moment,” so new leadership was needed.
Host Kristen Welker said, “Senator, let’s talk about your new book. I have it right here. Stand. I’m going to read a little portion for everyone. You write, quote, ‘We cannot cancel everyone who fails a purity test. We cannot exile those who don’t align with our every belief, however passionately we hold it. Coalitions that are only composed of the already converted cannot change the country. If everyone in your coalition agrees with you on everything, your coalition is too

I'd say they've failed every moment for the last 80 or so years.

Sounds like the knives are coming out for Hakeem and Chuck U, and Cory is positioning himself to be in the new cadre with a book full of Obama-wannabe mush.

Same old tripe. Dems say they want unity but then harangue anyone with even a slightly different viewpoint. His book is ranked #222 on Amazon - not a best seller!

Similar to the Obama peace plan? The one where we got broken promises, houthi/hamas/ terrorism, and nuclear threats, and Iran got boatloads of cash, the ability to build a tyranny, and were close to a bomb? No comparison at sll

New book, new wife, trying to sound moderate and reasonable... Sounds like someone is getting ready to run for President in 2028. Let's see how long he can keep the charade up.

Actually, Spartacus, the focus is to replace you. You are yet another lefty failure. Rather surprised the locals haven't shown you the door...yet, dude. Seems that even the Jersey crowd can't be any more disgusted with your political mumbo jumbo.

It's pretty amusing to see the dems cycle through their various "leaders" like throwing spaghetti against the wall to see what sticks. Each one of them trots out, interfaces with the media, says some stuff, the Left doesn't react very strongly, and the loser goes to the back of the line. In a few months, they may cycle through again.
They really don't have anyone that has any gravitas.
The same is true for their themes and memes. They spin something out, the media breathlessly discusses it in their roundtables, it collapses within 24 hours, the media whines that no one is listening to them, and they recycle the whole thing to the back of the line to be dragged back out sometime in the future, like expecting stale bread to get better with time.
The most amazing thing is that these are the same people and ideas that we were expected to take seriously over the last couple of decades; losers and stupid ideas.

Hey Spartisucks, all you need is a Shiv and Scumer to turn his back. Surely the rest of the Democrook Senators will recognize your Brilliance and elect you as their Leader.

Lemme guess. Cory defines himself as that new leader.
But he's just one of the crowd that has turned the Dem party into the mess that it is today.

Well, #1, I’d say more like double that number of years, at least!
As for Booker’s moralizing, haven’t seen him stand by Fetterman (not idealizing him, but he has not wavered on his key principles, as far as I can see; time will tell. But he is speaking more coherently than ever), anyway I hope he has been pondering his Party’s ideological descent back into debasement and not just his own navel.
Because, we have developing a seriously dangerous political environment.

Cory baby, you all stink. It's your party platform that needs work. You stand for everything that goes against common sense. P.S. You wrote a book? You're barely intelligible.

Hahaha, his only reason for "bucking" the "Party Elites" is to sell a new book. Sen. Spartacus, your new book should be re-titled, "Grand Stander - A Guide to Always Falling Up." He must be getting ready to announce his run for the White House in '28. Were he to fake his way into the WH, I would imagine his, 18 years his junior, "significant other" being referred to by the Secret Service as, "First Beard." /s
FTA: "If everyone in your coalition agrees with you on everything, your coalition is too small, too small to make big change and too small for what our democracy demands."
- I appreciate your Ghost Writer leaving that in his book, Spartacus, though it fails to "hit the mark" of a saying I managed people by over the years, which is, "If you have two people who think alike, you don't need one of them." The one word I don't see anywhere in this is "compromise." Democrats will only agree to a compromise until they've lost their last tooth and are gumming their food. /s

I refuse to criticise a happily married man.
The demonrats tried to position Doug Emhoff and Tampon Tim as paragons of masculinity - - but Spartacus is their real masculine man.

A book, this idiot wrote a book. Who in their right mind would by a book written by someone who has done nothing, nadda, zippo in his lifetime. The book must be three pages long. Where he was born, what schools he failed out of and how his eye doctor failed him. Pathetic.

Corey Booker, a complete illiterate. Hoe does anyone even give this guy an interview. He's nothing more than a clueless TDS driven idiot. He's so bad that his right eye doesn't know what the left eye is doing. Not one democrat in the house or senate is qualified to be there, except for Fetterman who actually seems to be a moderate.
