ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel was called out for mocking newly confirmed Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin as an "unqualified" plumber during his monologue Tuesday night. "Trump's got a whole new generation of thinkers lined up, including his newly confirmed secretary of Homeland Security, Markwayne ‘Chuck Mike Bruce Dave’ Melon — Mullin. Maybe melon's better," Kimmel said. "He's the now former senator of Oklahoma. Before he was elected to the Senate, Markwayne Mullin was a low-level MMA fighter and a plumber. That's right. We have a plumber protecting us from terrorism now. It worked for Super Mario.

And don't forget Zero, the former 'Community Organizer' who became the Worst. President. Ever. Kimmel is a lump of feces. He is the worst of the worst. Is he still a 'dead man walking', with his show slow-walking the remaining time until its cancellation date arrives? Once he is gone, maybe a someone will put on a new show, something that normal Americans can watch without vomiting....... but as it is the 'All Barack Channel' network, I am not hopeful.

A little off topic but a funny story. My folks had managed to buy a few houses that had been foreclosed and my dad would fix them up and sell them. If he had a plumbing problem there was a local company that he always used. One day we were at a restaurant and the plumber came in with his family. My dad called out, 'Hi, Gene' and he looked at us and said 'Hi, Mr. Smith.' We than heard one of his children ask him..'Daddy, do they pay their bills?" and he said..'Yes,, that's why I said Hi to them.' This was several years ago, and his company is now pretty big, they advertise on TV and have billboards around town.

How about we remove every former lawyer from congress and replace them all with tradesmen/women from all across the trades. That would give us people with real world experience for a change instead of people who only excel when they can obfuscate best.

#9. Every spring my dad would lament the graduationn of another class of lawyers at the local University. "Just more politicians and ambulance chasers we don't need". Law is a self prpetuating profession. They write and enact law which other lawyers and judges spend inordinate amounts of time (and other people's money) arguing about the meaning and intent. When a new law is passed to address an issue then the ineffective laws regarding the same issue should be abolished. Think about all of the " billable" hours spent research thise old laws searching for "loopholes".

A California gubernatorial debate was canceled just hours before it was set to occur on Tuesday after mounting criticism that only white candidates in the crowded field had qualified for the event. Washington — The Senate confirmed Markwayne Mullin as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security on Monday, finalizing President Trump's shakeup of DHS following months of scrutiny of Kristi Noem's leadership. In a 54-45 vote, the Senate confirmed Mullin, an Oklahoma Republican who's been in the Senate since 2023. Democratic Sens.
