Municipal police should be disarmed in the multicultural Saint-Denis suburb of Paris, the city’s recently elected radical Mayor Bally Bagayoko said this week, despite the history of violence and unrest in the area. The Malian-heritage mayor, who swept to power on the far-left Jean-Luc Mélenchon La France Insoumise (LFI/France in Rebellion) ticket — with the backing of the French Communist Party — earlier this month, defeating comparatively moderate Socialist Party candidate Mathieu Hanotin during the first round of voting in France’s two-round municipal elections. True to form, Bagayoko, who campaigned on giving free (taxpayer-funded) bicycles to every ninth-grade student in the city,

While the US is busy destroying Iran's nuclear capabilities\, perhaps the US should stop off in France, and destroy their nukes too. Their current leadership seems incapable of commanding a military, and how long before the Muslims take over France, and have access to their nuclear weapons??

Murder acquittal in killing of NYPD hero

Two years ago, career criminal Guy Rivera shot and killed NYPD Detective Jonathan Diller on a street in Queens while he was doing the job this city asked him to do. He was 31 years old. A husband. A father. A police officer who understood what the work required of him and accepted it. On that night, he stepped forward into danger with the same sense of purpose and nobility that defined his career. This week, a jury returned its verdict. And that not guilty verdict of murder in the first degree landed like a gut punch to the entire New York City Police Department.

Today is supposedly the last day that Canadian gun owners can hand in firearms banned by the Liberal government and still receive compensation for their guns. With just 51,000 firearms turned in as of last week, the federal government has collected just a little more than one-third of the total number of firearms it anticipated receiving, and most provinces have refused to aid in the Liberals' gun ban scheme. That opposition, though, has its limits. Blaine Beaven, the new firearms commissioner in Saskatchewan, says the province is working to provide as much protection to gun owners as it can. A 15-year-old student is dead after shooting a teacher at his high school near San Antonio Monday morning, authorities said. The female teacher — from Hill Country College Preparatory High School in the town of Bulverde — was rushed to the hospital after being shot by the unidentified male student, the Comal County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post without revealing details about the teacher’s condition. Authorities didn’t say what exactly happened to the shooter, only that he “died at the scene.” The school was evacuated and all other staff and students are safe, the sheriff’s office added.

It’s like a pandemic: Weekly news reports of yet another teacher arrested for having an erotic relationship with a student – often a young, attractive female exploiting a teen male under the age of consent. But this phenomenon of “educator sexual misconduct,” or ESM, is not as bad as it appears. In fact, it’s worse. Such stories evoke the prurient pop music theme found in the rock band Van Halen’s 1984 tune “Hot For Teacher.” However, in the real world, the overwhelming majority of these criminal relationships are never disclosed and prosecuted, and their destructive impact on victims goes largely unreported.

China - by which I mean, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which for all intents and purposes is China - is not our friend. They may be a trade partner, but they are not an ally; at best, they are a rival. At worst? An adversary. The FBI has confirmed she was being monitored by CCP agents on the grounds of the university.

Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick illicitly funneled millions of dollars to her campaign and committed various campaign finance infractions, a bipartisan House Ethics subcommittee determined Friday — likely laying the groundwork for a vote by the full legislative body to expel the embattled Florida Democrat. The panel’s adjudicatory subcommittee, led by House Ethics Chair Michael Guest (R-Miss.), deliberated well past midnight following an hours-long hearing that served as the panel’s first public “trial” in nearly 16 years. It found “clear and convincing” evidence that Cherfilus-McCormick was guilty of all but two of the 27 counts that had been brought against her

Delta Air Lines is punishing Congress for failing to fund the Department of Homeland Security. The airline company has temporarily yanked its special congressional desk service to lawmakers and staffers on Capitol Hill until Congress finally funds the DHS, which has been in a partial shutdown since Feb. 28. “Due to the impact on resources from the longstanding government shutdown, Delta will temporarily suspend specialty services to members of Congress flying Delta,” the company said in a statement first reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Next to safety, Delta’s No. 1 priority is taking care of our people and customers, which has become increasingly difficult in the current environment.”

The City of Chicago instituted its Checkout Bag Tax in 2017. When introduced, allegedly to reduce the use of grocery bags to protect the environment, the charge was seven cents per bag. It was raised to ten cents per bag in 2025, and was most recently increased to fifteen cents per bag on Jan. 1, 2026. Before we look into these ideas in detail, let’s consider that history. A decade ago, Chicago did not have a bag tax. Then they started in 2017 with seven cents, liked it, and increased that number by 43% last year. Then this year,

No, you didn’t read that headline wrong. The Austrian President has officially gone off the rails. This guy just gave us a glimpse into how the messed up globalist mind works when it finally stops pretending to be sane. Globalist leaders spent years flooding Europe with failed “refugees welcome” policies that have destroyed communities, crushed national identity, erased traditions, and helped turn once-safe countries into places filled with soaring violent crime. And the far-left leaders behind this madness still haven’t learned a single thing. In fact, they’ve actually become more unhinged, arrogant, and totally absurd. Should California codify Islamic religious observances into state-recognized holidays in the United States? As a nation, the essence of who we are as a People is rooted in our Judeo-Christian values and principles, dating back to the Magna Carta. This shared moral vocabulary has shaped Western thinking since America’s founding. Why, then, would any State in the Union formally endorse or incorporate into our educational and other public institutions a religious doctrine with practices antithetical to the belief system? AB 2017, introduced by Progressive Democrats Assemblyman Matt Haney and Senator Aisha Wahab, proposes adding Eid al-Fitr (Festival of Breaking the Fast) and Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) to California’s recognized holidays.
