The reality is that Socialism does not work. Period. Russia collapsed and is not in great shape now. Cuba is communist and is crumbling into disaster. China is communist but adopted some carefully limited aspects of business to keep from collapsing, but even now, many live in poor conditions. Further, all the countries of Europe have adopted Socialist characteristics and they are collapsing. The dems are avidly pursuing Socialism and it started to destroy the country until they were ripped out of power and exposed for their corruption and illegal activities. Socialism is a poison injected by power hungry and greedy leaders.

If you want your Federal Taxes boosted up just keep voting for leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats, or especially Communist Democrats such as Bernie Sanders. The Democrat game plan on raising taxes utilized by Sanders and the leftist Democrats is the claim that they only intend to raise up the taxes of the rich millionaires and billionaires who never “pay their fair share”. But after the Democrats get their way, usually after the wimpy congressional Republicans and their RINO class cave, and the Democrat tax raise comes into affect, it is always the vast working middle class that ends up paying greatly increased taxes, with the rich millionaires and billionaires simply continuing to put a lot of their money into Democrat campaign coffers.

The reality of life in the Senate is that the longer you are there, the more power you accumulate. He keeps getting re-elected because those who bother to vote in Vermont know that he can bring home the bacon. As someone once said, all politics are local. That don't care that he is a hypocrite when it comes to his personal finances.

It was a very different Donald Trump the nation saw Wednesday night than “the showman president” they experienced in his last prime-time address. Then, an “affordability”-addled America was force-fed the chief executive’s version of “P.T. Barnum, the Prince of Humbugs, blaring hard-sell and hyperbole, mixed with equal measures of vitriol and vituperation.” This time around, 47 stepped forward in a very different, and far more appropriate role: a calm, contemplative, and consolatory commander-in-chief accompanied concerned countrymen and women on a solemn but

By a slender margin, a plurality of Americans see China as a “threat” rather than as a “competitor” or “partner,” the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. And nearly half say they would back further trade restrictions on China for national security reasons, even if it means higher prices. Americans are at best ambivalent, the I&I/TIPP Poll indicates. The poll of 1,456 voters, taken from Feb. 27 to 29, has a margin of error of +/-3.0 percentage points. The first question: “Do you view China primarily as an economic partner, an economic competitor, or an economic threat to the United States?”

We wonder if anyone has conducted a demographic survey of the people who showed up at the “No Kings” protests around the country, because we suspect the results would be an embarrassment. We noticed as a rally marched down the main street in Pasadena, California, that the protesters were comprised almost entirely of white people who were predominantly middle-aged or older. (This is a city that is 40% black and Hispanic, according to the Census Bureau.) So we looked at videos and pictures from protests in other cities around the country this past Saturday, and noticed

A little more than two months ago, when Zohran Mamdani was still in his first days as New York City’s boy mayor, we suggested that he should be driven from office. It was that bad. Has the situation improved since then? No, it’s only become worse. Let’s start off with the mayor hosting a Ramadan iftar dinner on March 11 at City Hall, where he was joined by Muslim city workers. Well, isn’t that the prerogative of the mayor? After all, Christian elected officials have used government buildings for prayers and faith-based observances since the beginning of the republic. But was this just devout Muslims practicing their religion?

The New York Times recently ran a piece titled “Democrats Hammer Trump on ‘Energy Affordability’ as Iran War Continues.” Our headline above is a more accurate description of what’s going on, because it is the Democrats – not Donald Trump – who have been and still are waging war on affordable energy. The fawning Times article is based on a report from “top Senate Democrats” that “accused the Trump administration of waging a ‘war on energy affordability’ by canceling hundreds of clean energy projects even before the United States and Israel launched strikes on Iran — strikes which have sent energy costs higher.”

President Donald Trump’s tariffs on imported goods suffered a Supreme Court legal rebuke in late February, but they’re not doing much better in the court of public opinion. As the latest I&I/TIPP shows, a plurality of voters don’t believe the economy will get a boost from tariffs, which win strong majority support only from Republicans. It was once the case that most conservatives and many moderates rejected tariffs on imported goods as an unwanted distortion of free trade. Meanwhile, liberals embraced tariffs as a welcome tool of government “industrial policy.” But President Trump has flipped the script.

All is well in California, according to Gov. Gavin Newsom. The milk flows cool and creamy, and the honey has never been so sweet. But beneath the bluster lies bitter experience and, if nothing changes, a sour future. The Golden State, says the presidential aspirant in a recent co-bylined op-ed published by Project Syndicate, offers policy predictability, a welcome home for global capital, and a green agenda like no other. Newsom is correct in that policy is predictable in California. But that’s no virtue when policy is expected to always move in a single direction — toward weightier regulation, more punitive

The Wall Street Journal recently reported on the growing divide between blue and red states when it comes to income taxes. What it failed to mention is that this shows the genius of the nation’s founders. “Republican-led states are racing each other to flatten, cut, and eliminate individual income taxes, with 23 states lowering their top income-tax rates since 2021,” Richard Rubin and Jeanne Whalen write. And, indeed, this year, nine states – all Republican – either cut their top marginal tax rate or lowered their flat tax rate. Ohio became the 14th state to adopt a flat tax. “Democratic-controlled states are moving the opposite way

The Justice Department says that California’s ZEV mandates and its stringent standards for CO2 emissions violate federal law, which expressly prohibits states from setting their own fuel economy standards for cars, adding

Illinois Democrat Sen. Tammy Duckworth sent a letter to the Transportation Security Administration on Friday demanding the agency rescind its "shoes-on" policy, according to a report. In a letter obtained by CBS News, Duckworth called the policy a "reckless act" that may be placing flight passengers at risk. Duckworth also warned that the policy was likely implemented "without meaningful consultation with TSA," citing an investigation by the Department of Homeland Security's inspector general that found it created a new security vulnerability in airport screening systems. The IG's classified report found that TSA scanners are unable to effectively screen shoes, raising concerns that threat items could evade detection. The report was allegedly buried

In a development raising red flags across the Atlantic, Britain’s Labour government has appointed the UK’s first “anti-Muslim hostility tsar” and adopted a new definition of anti-Muslim hostility — reframed from “Islamophobia” — as part of its £4 million social cohesion strategy. The definition describes such hostility as “a type of racism” targeting “expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness,” including prejudicial stereotyping that could incite hatred. Officials claim it addresses record-high anti-Muslim hate crimes while protecting free speech. Critics, however, see it as a potential censorship tool that could limit scrutiny of Islamic extremism, grooming gangs, or integration challenges.

President Donald Trump on Friday proposed to begin privatizing airport security operations handled by the Transportation Security Administration, in an effort to save money. The White House budget proposes cutting funding for the federal agency created after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks by $52 million and would require small airports to enroll in a program in which TSA pays for private screeners. TSA has about 50,000 federal employees who handle screening at nearly all U.S. airports. Budget documents released on Friday said airports currently using the privatization program have demonstrated savings compared to federal screening operations. In recent weeks, major U.S. airports suffered massive disruptions after TSA security officers went unpaid since mid-February
