Michael Goodwin, writing at the New York Post, made a claim remarkable for its simple clarity: “The Democratic Party We Once Knew Is Dead.” You and I can readily agree with Goodwin, but the party is certainly not dead and gone. What has it become? Victor Davis Hanson provides the answer: There is no Democratic Party. There’s a Socialist Party. But it’s a very weird Socialist Party. It’s a ... Nothing. The party is still a substandard IQ, batcrap crazy bunch of crooks and misfits. They simply changed membership guidelines from what were once union members to Leftist/Communist/Socialist delusionals.

They figured out that the mentally unhinged are a loyal voting bloc. However, they have become repellant to most working class voters.

Coral Springs Vice Mayor Nancy Metayer Bowen was found dead in her home Wednesday morning, and her husband was taken into custody in a case police say is being investigated as domestic violence. Officers arrived around 10 a.m. for a welfare check at her Broward County residence, and after gaining entrance to her house, they found her body. Authorities then arrested her husband, Stephen Bowen. Police have not released the cause of death or confirmed what charges, if any, have been filed. Police have not said what triggered the welfare check or how long she had been dead before officers arrived. Authorities have also not said whether anyone else

Should California codify Islamic religious observances into state-recognized holidays in the United States? As a nation, the essence of who we are as a People is rooted in our Judeo-Christian values and principles, dating back to the Magna Carta. This shared moral vocabulary has shaped Western thinking since America’s founding. Why, then, would any State in the Union formally endorse or incorporate into our educational and other public institutions a religious doctrine with practices antithetical to the belief system? AB 2017, introduced by Progressive Democrats Assemblyman Matt Haney and Senator Aisha Wahab, proposes adding Eid al-Fitr (Festival of Breaking the Fast) and Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) to California’s recognized holidays.
Global Warming: It’s Not Unusual 6 replies

Hysteria about global warming stems from the fact that, as best one can estimate, the Earth’s average temperature has increased by around 1.1 degree C over the last century. Global temperatures have fluctuated widely in the past, and it has long been debated whether the current increase is anything unusual. At the Science of Climate Change, computer scientist Les Hatton recounts a relatively simple analysis that he conducted, using the oft-studied Greenland ice cores. From the paper’s abstract: In this paper we first dissect the background behind this number and what it means. Second, we use the Epica-Vostok Ice core dataset, a single proxy dataset for temperature data sampled every century

How many times have you been told that fact-checkers are neutral arbiters of truth, selfless guardians of an informed democracy, heroic watchdogs standing between you and dangerous misinformation? It’s the tallest of tales that we’re just supposed to take for granted. And then they give us every reason not to believe it. PJ Media readers have long known that mainstream fact-checkers are anything but neutral. During COVID, biased fact-checkers were deployed like weapons to silence dissenting voices on vaccines, lockdowns, and lab leak theories. After the 2020 election, conservative outlets — including this one — had to walk on eggshells with every piece we published, constantly watching for anything

American leftists held another “No Kings” rally last weekend. Democrats and their ideological allies gathered in city parks and town squares to tell the rest of us how awful we are. They screamed obscenities and called us “fascists” and “Nazis.” They demanded President Trump’s removal from office. Some even brazenly wished for his death. To non-leftists, these things are cringeworthy spectacles. The participants look loony and behave immaturely. They are not serious people. Their messages make no sense. How are they able to protest so vocally if they are living under the yoke of tyranny? How are they able

The mixed messaging, cognitive dissonance, and blatant hypocrisy on display at the latest round of “No Kings” protests in places like New York City reached epic proportions this past weekend. If you were in New York City on Saturday during the third edition of the No Kings movement, you would have seen a smorgasbord of far-left groups aiming to sow the seeds of revolution in America. You would have seen numerous flags adorned with the hammer and sickle. You would have been surrounded by collectivist swag and literature for sale, including copies of The Communist Manifesto. AGADIR -- Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) officially confirmed today that Alireza Tangsiri, commander of its naval forces, died after sustaining severe injuries. Last week, Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that Israeli forces killed Tangsiri in an overnight airstrike, and that the operation also killed senior naval officers. He claimed that Tangsiri is the one responsible for many “terrorist” operations and blocking the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian authorities however did not confirm his death at the time of the Israeli announcement. The US -Israel – Iran war continues after US and Israel carried out a joint strike against Iran on February 28, targeting Tehran and several Iranian cities.

A Ventura County woman has died from a rattlesnake bite she suffered while hiking at Wildwood Regional Park, authorities said Wednesday. The recent fatality marks the second rattlesnake-related death in California this month. Experts say record-breaking heat has made the snakes active earlier than usual. Southern California is a hiker’s paradise, but out on the trails, you’re rarely alone. The Southern Pacific rattlesnake is “right at home in the cracks and crevices of the great outdoors,” said local hiker Croy Tan. “Technically, this is where they are. This is their place, you know what I mean,” he added. On March 14, the Ventura County Fire Department said a 46-year-old woman

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi floated the possibility on Tuesday that Republicans might try to hack into election systems to change the outcome of the 2026 midterm elections. That’s rich coming from a leader in the Democratic Party who chastised the GOP for questioning the integrity of the 2020 presidential election. You’ll recall that Democratic election officials in 2020, without the approval of their state legislatures, made all kinds of last-minute election rule and procedural changes regarding mail-in ballots and due dates, among other matters, in key swing states like Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin,

The recent massive U.S. strike near Iran’s central city of Isfahan likely sought to render Tehran’s remaining highly enriched uranium stockpile inaccessible by burying it deep underground — a strategy that would negate the need for a prolonged and risky U.S. ground operation to extract the material, according to an Israeli military analyst writing Tuesday. Writing in Ynet on Tuesday, Israeli military analyst Ron Ben-Yishai — a veteran Yediot Ahronot correspondent and Israel Prize recipient — assessed that the strike reflects a deliberate U.S. effort to neutralize Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile by entombing it beneath rock, soil, and collapsed tunnel infrastructure rather than attempting to remove it by force.
