CIA's Historic Retraction Of Intel Reports

First there were parents flagged at school board meetings. Then it was Catholics who preferred the traditional Latin Mass who were targeted for scrutiny. Now, the CIA's retraction of nineteen "politicized" intel reports on Friday -- on the heels of the agency's self-critique last year on its assessment of Trump-Russia collusion in 2016 -- has put the sharpest light yet on the infection of political bias inside American spy agencies dating back to the Obama era. The politicized assessments -- many (snip) on DEI-related issues -- included pronouncements by the CIA about white women, motherhood, violent extremism, LGBT issues, and others well beyond the remit of the agency's mission.

Seventeen reports were permanently deleted and two were substantially revised.

Like the FBI (established in 1908 and renamed FBI in 1935) ) and the CIA (post WWII creation), the times have changed and the calibre of the people they hire has changed/politiczed. Shut them all down and start over.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the CIA was only authorized to work overseas or outside US borders.

Don't ignore the CIA (nee: the OSS) It's their business to mislead, lie and undermine, but 80 years ago they were on our side.

Glad the reports were exposed, but why aren't those that wrote the reports exposed, and fired?

Next I wish to see a Federal Statute regarding "former" and "retired" leaders in ALL Federal Agencies regarding them being allowed to speak out against a sitting Administration, or speaking their minds regarding pending matters before or during a Federal Election, as in Hunter Biden's "laptop from hell," and the impact it had on the nation from 2019 to the present. In other words, retirees, if you like your Federal Pension and want it to continue, then keep your mouth shut. However, if you do want to "speak your mind," just don't use your Federal work history as your "bona fides" to a national audience. Such a Federal "NDA" would result in the "stock price" of former Agency heads within "think tanks" around Washington DC to lose value by at least 50%, and the nation would be a much better place for it.

Basically, looks like they crafted these "reports" to support the Progressive political agenda. Once it became an official source the MSM and Democrat politicians could refer to it as their justification or rationalization for X action.

San Francisco's controversial reparations initiative, formalized and signed by Mayor Dan Lurie on December 23, 2025, creates a dedicated Reparations Fund (essentially, a new City Hall-administered bank account) to dole out restitution to the city's Black residents which were victims of slavery, redlining, urban renewal, War on Drugs, and other qualifiers. The Supreme Court tariff decision about where the conventional wisdom said it would: The justices ruled 6-3 that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act doesn't give the President the sweeping authority the Trump administration claimed. That's not a political rebuke. It's a legal one, and a narrow one at that. (snip) The court did not say the president lacks authority to impose tariffs. The post from @TheSCIF details a catastrophic surge in mail-in ballots -- from 6,300 in 2016 to 690,000 in 2020. Using the COVID-19 emergency as cover, Nevada Democrats unilaterally rammed through universal mail-in voting, unlimited ballot harvesting, unsecured and unmanned ballot boxes, extended ballot tabulation, and stripped away basic election safeguards.

And now President Donald Trump wants accountability. On Saturday, Trump called on Netflix to fire Rice.

The memo puts an end to any rumors or partisan talking points; internal emails and memos outline briefings, coordination, and presidential approval before federal agents entered Trump's home. In January 2022, the National Archives and Records Administration received 15 boxes of presidential materials from Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate. Staff members found documents bearing classified markings, and requested additional materials from Trump's team. Archivist officials believed more records remained at the property.
