The Irony -- Ineligible Blacks
May Fund SF Reparations

Original Article

San Francisco's controversial reparations initiative, formalized and signed by Mayor Dan Lurie on December 23, 2025, creates a dedicated Reparations Fund (essentially, a new City Hall-administered bank account) to dole out restitution to the city's Black residents which were victims of slavery, redlining, urban renewal, War on Drugs, and other qualifiers. (snip) the program's design creates a stark dilemma: it compels non-eligible residents, including a significant number of the city's black African Americans, to actually subsidize reparations benefits they themselves cannot access (snip)

Comments:

An interesting summary of the inequities and contradictions of San Francisco's "reparations" plan. There are currently zero dollars in the reparations account and San Francisco is struggling to close a $1 billion budget deficit so the fund and its problems are largely theoretical. However, as private contributions to the fund are likely to remain negligible, any payouts will have to be funded by San Francisco's taxpayers and will therefore pose the problems outlined by Mr. Greenberg. Mr. Greenberg was a Republican candidate for Mayor of San Francisco in 2018.

Money given to people who never were a slave, never met a slave, flowing from people who never owned a slave, and in fact, their grandfathers and great grandfathers never owned a slave because California never had any slaves. And, how much money given to black skinned non-slaves by other black skinned non-slaves who somehow don't meet the BS sorting process? Just another scam. Jesse Jackson would be proud of them. MLK would be appalled.

If San Francisco wasnt a solidly liberal city, this might have consequences. Here's my prediction. Candidates will make it an issue to either expand the giveaway and or restrict who pays for it. The black population could sway close elections but its the white guilt riddled Karen's who determine SFO elections. I can assure you that the AWFULs are firmly in favor of helping the poor pitiful poor, under privileged, undereducated black rubes. This is until the courts step in and save San Francisco from itself.

Must be an election year. 1. If no funds are contributed, no reparations will be paid out. 2. If reparations are paid out, those who do not get paid will protest. Violence in the streets causing much property damage to be paid for by the taxpayers. 3. Lawsuits by those not receiving reparations will consume millions of taxpayer dollars. 4. Program will collapse (until next election year).

I want reparations from the UK for killing my GG grandfather at the Siege of Augusta in 1780. He was also fighting for freedom. Anyway, as long as SF pays, I don't care, but the fools on the left will try to spread this to all the States (they have already called for it).

Since slavery was abolished over 160 years ago it would seem that there are no former slaves around to compensate. And just because someone is Black doesn't make them a descendant of a slave. Over 3000 Black families in Georgia alone owned slaves. There were plenty others in Southern States. Enough of this nonsense.

Virginia Democrats have planned a statewide referendum with perhaps the most diabolically Orwellian question in the history of modern democracy. “Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia’s standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?” Obviously, relatively disengaged voters will see this question and go, “Restore fairness? Sure, I vote yes.” So let me break down what it actually means. First, newly empowered Virginia Dems redrew the maps for House seats in the most comical fashion. Here’s the old map.
