Leaking Sensitive Information

The Department of Homeland Security fired a senior Customs and Border Protection official on Thursday after it was revealed that the officer had been allegedly leaking sensitive, personal information about CBP personnel, as well as negotiations regarding the border wall to the press, sources within the department told Fox News Digital. The official, who was unnamed, was marched out of his CBP office in Washington, D.C., after DHS discovered the leak, sources said. (snip) The news comes just days after a Fox News Digital investigation uncovered a communications network being used by (snip) [anti-] ICE agitators across the country.

Comments:

The article notes that it is unknown whether the leak which precipitated the firing involved anti-ICE databases or signal chats. There was also the recent high-profile leak to the media of the name of the ICE officer involved in a self-defense shooting in Minneapolis.

While we all long for seeing the Big Names snagged, there is much value in picking off the Deep State subversives who have been operating so freely. They did what they did and do what they did as good little agents in their army.

If President Trump tomorrow removed the “civil immunity” for specific actions of “Deep State bad actors,” like this person has done, opening them up to civil lawsuits from the ones impacted by such illegal actions. These miscreants might think twice before doxxing the ones who actually work for a living. All it would take is a “stroke of the pen,” on an Executive Order to stop such insurrectionists cold in their tracks. These people might not fear the Feds because the Deep State provides lawyers to take on the Trump Administration, but the same ones who provide the “top shelf” lawyers for fighting the Feds won’t be around when civil lawsuits start poring in with their name on it.

It is probably a mistake to assume the official was male. Women tend to be more liberal and those kind of women tend to e zealots and toward irrational behavior.

This is a tale of two federal judges -- one Trump appointee and one Biden appointee -- who separately sentenced two men for their attempted assassinations of a former (and future) president of the United States and a current Supreme Court justice. The Trump judge correctly followed the facts and law, sentencing the would-be Trump assassin to life; the Biden judge dangerously followed her political and ideological agenda, sentencing the would-be Kavanaugh assassin -- because he now pretends he's a woman -- to less than one-third of the recommended sentence.

The problem was the show’s conceit: It was a message of unity, inclusion, and togetherness — in a language that 85% of the population doesn’t understand and cannot speak. That’s not unity. That’s division. Lo siento, Bad Bunny and/or the NFL, but the underlying metrics of the NFL’s Super Bowl halftime show didn’t make a lick of sense: Only about 14% to 18% of the U.S. population speaks fluent Spanish — which means, of course, that 86% to 82% do not. Only 14% of the NFL’s total audience is Hispanic. The number of Latinos/Hispanics who speak English exclusively is growing, not shrinking:

The game, before 70,823 fans at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, showcased a punishing, opportunistic defense by the Seahawks that rendered Patriots quarterback Drake Maye mostly ineffective all night.

Democrats push hard for every possible advantage in elections, but courts sometimes draw a line. U.S. District Judge William L. The Trump administration is set this week to overturn an Obama-era scientific finding that serves as the legal basis for federal greenhouse-gas regulation, the Environmental Protection Agency said on Monday. Repealing the so-called endangerment finding, a scientific determination that greenhouse gas emissions endanger human health, would remove the legal foundation for broader greenhouse gas regulation and would mark the Trump administration’s most wide-reaching ‍climate policy rollback. The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday that the repeal is expected to be published later this week, and cited EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin saying it would amount to “the largest act of deregulation in the history of the United States.”
