Dems have been calling for ICE body cameras, but as I noted a few days ago "Body cameras have far more consistently proven that law enforcement acted correctly than otherwise (snip.)" Now, the Dems are pivoting to warning about the dangers of ICE body cameras "A push to put body cameras on all ICE agents has Democrats running into a new problem: fear that the technology will provide another avenue for mass surveillance of protesters." Federal officials announced on Feb. 4 that approximately 700 immigration enforcement personnel would be withdrawn from Minnesota effective immediately, equating to approximately 25% of all agents deployed to the area. (snip) Federal officials explicitly linked the reduction to increased cooperation from state and local authorities, including agreements by county jails to transfer individuals subject to immigration holds. (snip) The drawdown functions less as de-escalation than as enforcement consolidation.

I wrote a piece last year firmly supporting the reintroduction of wolves into Colorado to share the mountain landscape with cattle ranchers. I’ve changed my mind.
My reasoning at the time was that wolves are part of the natural landscape here. They help the huge deer and elk herds by taking the old and weak out for dinner.
As a lifelong hiker and mountaineer, I also liked the mere idea of having wolves in the Colorado mountains even if I never saw one (and I never have). After all, they’d been here for millions of years until they were eradicated in the 20th century.

The violence and size of the anti-ICE riots in Minnesota took federal officials by surprise. But maybe they shouldn’t be shocked. As it turns out, and as is often the case when it comes to far-left demonstrations, outside money, organizations and foreign influence are firing the revolt .
As Deputy U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche this week told “The Ingraham Angle,” investigators discovered a “massive fraud going on all through Minneapolis, all through Minnesota, and suddenly it turned. It turned almost on a dime, and it became suddenly all about ICE, all about getting ICE out and how horrible ICE was doing,”
