A nationally recognized advocate for LGBTQ+ rights based in Monmouth County is facing charges of child endangerment and assault following an incident last month in his Neptune City home. Christian Fuscarino, executive director of Garden State Equality, is charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child by a caretaker and two counts of simple assault, according to court documents. His attorney, Mitchell Ansell, called the matter a “difficult personal family moment.”

Comments:

Absolutely horrible, yet completely predictable.

He was full on slapping the kid in the face and pushed him against the wall. The article did not say how old the child is. Truly dreadful.

President Trump announced early Friday that a suspect has been arrested for Charlie Kirk’s assassination. “I think, with a high degree of certainty, we have him,” Trump told “Fox & Friends” during a live interview at the cable giant’s Manhattan studio, saying he heard just minutes before his 8 a.m. interview. “Somebody who was very close to him turned him in,” the president said, saying it was relayed through “a minister who was involved with law enforcement.” “I hope he’s going to be found guilty and I hope he gets the death penalty.

Rosie O’Donnell made good on her promise to leave the country if Donald Trump returned to the White House. And apparently, she had a good reason for her personal health. Rosie O’Donnell has admitted she was “drinking too much” during Donald Trump’s first term in the White House - and during his recent presidential campaign, she vowed she would leave the country if he was elected again. The American talk show host revealed last month that she and her 12-year-old child Clay moved to Dublin, Ireland, to escape the Trump presidency. Since her grandparents were Irish, she is eligible to get citizenship, but said her application has yet to be approved.

A student organization at the state’s largest Catholic university has canceled an LGBTQ-themed bingo event after it received multiple hateful messages. Seton Hall Hillel, the student-run Jewish organization at Seton Hall University, had scheduled “Drag Bingo” for Tuesday at 6 p.m. A social media post on Monday announced its cancellation. “What was meant to be a joyful (belated) celebration of Purim — a holiday that embraces resilience, Jewish pride, inclusivity, and joy — instead became a target for hostility as our Hillel community received unacceptable, hateful messages in response," the statement read.

The new CEO of a New Jersey government investigative commission is resigning after it was reported she lives in another state and has another job. A story from Asbury Park Press says State Investigations Commission CEO Tiffany Williams Brewer only shows up to work once, maybe twice a week. Her primary address is in Maryland, and she works at Howard University three days a week. Williams Brewer was named acting CEO after former Chief Chadd Lackey died in a car accident last year. On Jan. 1, she ditched the acting title and her salary increased from $175,000 to $210,000 — more than Lackey was making.

This is a scary moment in America, and we need a leader who won’t exploit the chaos. Someone who can strike just the right tone – with humanity, and moral clarity – that trickles down to other leaders in both parties, reminding us of our values, our better selves. Joe Biden rose to the occasion. He expressed sincere empathy for Donald Trump and other victims of Saturday’s horrific attack, including a father killed while protecting his family from bullets. He called on all Americans to “lower the temperature in our politics,” and to reject violence in any form. He did his part, dialed it down, .

A Mercer County man who was in the U.S. Marine Corps until last week has been charged with making threatening statements about killing white people in a shooting rampage, federal authorities announced Monday. Joshua Cobb, 23, of Hamilton, mentioned two possible attack locations, a Jersey Strong gym and an Aldi grocery store in Robbinsville, and said he had access to guns and the will to kill a lot of people, authorities allege. Cobb also fantasized about the adrenaline rush and high he’d feel during such a shooting. “I’d probably OD on my own adrenaline after the 10th body goes down,” he allegedly wrote on social media in March of last year.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) called for more gun control in response to Saturday’s handgun attack at gun-free Brown University. He did not mention the school’s gun-free policy nor that it goes so far as to prevent concealed carry permit holders from being armed on campus for self-defense. Instead, Schumer went with the standard Democrat talking point of pushing more gun laws after extant gun control fails to prevent a criminal from acting out his heinous intentions. Forbes posted video of Schumer claiming Australia is showing “courage” by seeking ways to expand and implement new gun controls after the Bondi Beach terror attack.

President Donald Trump’s tasteless comments following the apparent murder of Hollywood legend Rob Reiner on Sunday showed that the president, at least on that occasion, had a speck in his eye. Before criticizing Trump, however, liberals should make sure to remove the logs from their own eyes. Trump, 79, reiterated that he avoids alcohol, saying in the interview he has a “possessive and addictive type personality” and that he wasn’t offended by her word choice. “No, she meant that I’m — you see, I don’t drink alcohol. The enhanced Obamacare subsidies Democrats shut down the government to protect back in October are officially dead. House Speaker Mike Johnson slammed the door on extending the bloated COVID-era handout, saying the House will focus instead on moving forward with a new Republican healthcare package. The temporary subsidies, born out of pandemic panic, were supposed to expire at the end of this year. Democrats, of course, wanted them extended indefinitely—because nothing is ever temporary in Washington when it involves taxpayer money. But Johnson made it clear on Tuesday that this was the end of the line.

The lawsuit took aim at a 2024 documentary by the BBC, which spliced different sections of Trump’s comments before his supporters ransacked the Capitol to make it appear as though he explicitly encouraged the riot. “I’m suing the BBC for putting words in my mouth, literally,” Trump grumbled to reporters earlier in the day, Monday. “They actually put terrible words in my mouth having to do with January 6th that I didn’t say.”

The Bondi Beach attack in Australia was shocking, but not at all surprising. Some of the details were distinctive — an idyllic spot on the Pacific Ocean instantly turned into a killing field; a father-son terror squad — but the basic picture of radicalized Muslim immigrants targeting a gathering of Jews was drearily familiar. These events follow the same pattern because the fundamentalist version of Islam is, at its root, hostile to Jews. Let’s say, for the sake of argument, that there was a refugee flow of Unitarians, and some proportion of those Unitarians were antagonistic to traditional Christians — such that they vandalized their businesses, harassed them in the streets,

"I am concerned that disclosure of these materials would damage important institutional interests of the Presidency, including by impairing the ability of future Presidents to receive robust, candid advice from their close advisers. For these reasons, I hereby assert executive privilege over the documents listed," Biden wrote in a letter to Archival Operations Division of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Oct. 1, 2025, according to a copy of the letter obtained by Fox News Digital.
