Rosie O’Donnell made good on her promise to leave the country if Donald Trump returned to the White House. And apparently, she had a good reason for her personal health. Rosie O’Donnell has admitted she was “drinking too much” during Donald Trump’s first term in the White House - and during his recent presidential campaign, she vowed she would leave the country if he was elected again. The American talk show host revealed last month that she and her 12-year-old child Clay moved to Dublin, Ireland, to escape the Trump presidency. Since her grandparents were Irish, she is eligible to get citizenship, but said her application has yet to be approved.

Comments:

Rosie hasn’t been having a good year as she drags her youngest adopted emotional support / trophy child from her latest failed relationship to Ireland and attempts to evade dealing with the reality of her train wreck life by blaming her issues on President Trump.

She is a multi millionaire with the means to carry through her threats. And she did, good on her. Will she be missed, no. But being the child of alcoholic grandparents, father, aunt, and brother she needs to know that simply moving your location will not necessarily stop your drinking. Alcoholism galloped through my family (yes, we have Irish dna) and it killed them all. Don't like anything about the woman but I do not wish her to go down the drinking rabbit hole. Not sure where the best place for her would have been but stay away from the booze, all of it. And that might be hard to do in Ireland. She needs to let her hatred go. That would be the best place to start. Stop talking about Trump, stop worrying about Trump and stop blaming Trump for everything and letting him live in your head rent free. Hatred will kill your soul. Hate and love are the two strongest emotions in the world taking a lot of energy. Try being indifferent. While you are consumed with hatred most of us here are happy with the way we are moving away from the fjb administration. Go, live your life, leave us alone. And stay away from the booze.

My thoughts exactly, #2. I believe Rosie's drinking problem runs much deeper than her animus for President Trump but I guess it makes her feel virtuous to cast blame onto him and gives her points among her wokester pals. But.....who's she gonna blame when she keeps drinking in Ireland? And I'm pretty sure the drinking will continue.

If that nasty fat broad wants to stop drinking alcohol, Ireland is the wrong place. She should move to a country where alcohol is not permitted. I suggest Saudi Arabia.... or perhaps Iran. I'm sure she -and her big leftist mouth- will be welcomed there!

It is amazing how emotionally unstable so many of the people who hate Trump are. Biden was a disaster and did huge damage to the country but I didn't start drinking, use drugs, run away, or lose much sleep over his time in office. I wanted him gone ASAP and am delighted that he was so clearly exposed as being mentally incompetent and that all the people who lied and supported him have paid such a big price. I don't care that Rosie has/is suffering. They all deserve what has happened to them. I didn't inflict it on them, they are choosing to wallow in their insanity.

A student organization at the state’s largest Catholic university has canceled an LGBTQ-themed bingo event after it received multiple hateful messages. Seton Hall Hillel, the student-run Jewish organization at Seton Hall University, had scheduled “Drag Bingo” for Tuesday at 6 p.m. A social media post on Monday announced its cancellation. “What was meant to be a joyful (belated) celebration of Purim — a holiday that embraces resilience, Jewish pride, inclusivity, and joy — instead became a target for hostility as our Hillel community received unacceptable, hateful messages in response," the statement read.

A story from Asbury Park Press says State Investigations Commission CEO Tiffany Williams Brewer only shows up to work once, maybe twice a week. Her primary address is in Maryland, and she works at Howard University three days a week. Williams Brewer was named acting CEO after former Chief Chadd Lackey died in a car accident last year. This is a scary moment in America, and we need a leader who won’t exploit the chaos. Someone who can strike just the right tone – with humanity, and moral clarity – that trickles down to other leaders in both parties, reminding us of our values, our better selves. Joe Biden rose to the occasion. He expressed sincere empathy for Donald Trump and other victims of Saturday’s horrific attack, including a father killed while protecting his family from bullets. He called on all Americans to “lower the temperature in our politics,” and to reject violence in any form. He did his part, dialed it down, .
