Is ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ Real?

Original Article

Is “Trump derangement syndrome” real? No serious mental-health professional would render such a partisan and derogatory diagnosis. Yet I’ve seen it in my own psychotherapy practice. Patients across the political spectrum have brought Donald Trump into therapy not to discuss policy but to process obsession, rage and dread. Their distress is symptomatic, not ideological.

Comments:

As you suspected, your angry neighbor actually is mentally ill. Maybe giving her a hug would help.

Flame-throwing political media are TOXIC to people, like pesticides and mercury to exterminators, hatters, and everyone having continual contact with those chemicals -- with similar cumulative effects. Opponents of the sitting President's party have wound up with full-blown cases of derangement every administration for the last 50 to 150 years. The lingering aroma of derangement against Clinton, Obama, and Biden still stinks up our hallowed halls...

These mentally ill people focus on Trump and blame him for all that their deranged minds find wrong with the world. Dem pols feed this psychosis with their TV statements.....Hitler, fascist, authoritarians....blah, blah, blah. It seems that at least half of the Dem voting block are the mentally unstable.

Yes. TDS is most certainly a real and serious disease. But what or who will become the left's new trigger of rage and hate after President Trump's term is over in January 2029?

YES, TDS is real. It is a learned by a constant indoctrination of false accusations made by Trump’s political enemies designed to promote loathing and fear in the minds of those who hear them. Since the MSM repeats these accusations over and over and over again, many people accept the accusations are true. As any propagandist will tell you, tell a lie often enough and people will believe it must be true. Once hooked, the people will believe the most outrageous of lies. They have been brainwashed.

Its kind of funny. Political hacks invent a term out of thin air as something to mock and troll their enemies, and get it into common language. Then it turns out to be real.

It’s not the liberal who hates Trump, it’s that the personality type of liberals hates everything that isn’t liberal. Look at the general demeanor, worldview, and lifestyle of both liberals and conservatives. Compare. You will see that the former seems always angry, hostile, and nasty (think Michelle Obama and Rosie O’Donnell). Now look at your average conservative; he/she is happy, contented, leads a meaningful life, and likes Trump. In short, normalcy. Trump derangement isn’t because of Trump — it’s because of liberalism. It’s a nasty-gene. Liberals gravitate toward negativity, conservatives gravitate toward positivity. The personality type comes first.

But that same survey found that the number of native-born workers with jobs rose by 383,000, bringing the total number of native-born jobs gained to over 2 million since President Donald Trump took office. All this while real wages and household income are rising too. The Trump economy is delivering for American workers.

Nov. 18 should henceforth be recognized as far more dangerous than Jan. 6 ever was. Far more shocking. And an actual attempt at fomenting an insurrection, a coup. The “Nov. 18ers” should be forever shamed and discredited. Rather than hundreds of unruly Trump supporters strolling through the Capitol building, many of whom were subsequently incarcerated for doing so, we have just witnessed six sitting Democratic lawmakers openly urge members of the military and intelligence community to defy direct orders from the president of the United States.

President Donald Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, a Catholic, fired off a scathing response to a recent letter from U.S. Catholic bishops after they put out a “special pastoral letter” that slammed the administration for its deportation policies and operations following their yearly fall meeting last week. More Catholics need to push back against the ridiculous and unhealthy political views liberal clergy keep pushing. Every nation has the right to protect itself and its borders, a principle that, until recent years, didn’t spark much controversy.

Convenience store giant 7-Eleven has found itself the target of social media outrage after a story about how it treated one of its employees was made public. Stephanie Dilyard worked at one 7-Eleven store in Oklahoma City when she was given a counterfeit $100 bill from a customer. Dilyard refused to accept it and the man attacked her, tried to strangle Dilyard for doing her job. Unfortunately for that man, later identified as Kenneth Thompson, Dilyard was armed, and she shot him. In response, 7-Eleven fired Dilyard from her job.

The wealthy oceanfront town of Carmel, California, has banned pickleball in its public park after residents complained that the constant sound of paddles striking balls was too noisy. The Carmel City Council voted earlier this month to permanently prohibit the sport at Forest Hill Park, the only public pickleball location within city limits, marking the first such ban in the state, according to sfgate.com. Residents reported that the "popping" sound had been echoing through the neighborhood as players participated in the game that has grown in popularity, particularly among seniors and retirees, the outlet reported.

Liberal loudmouth Rep. Jasmine Crockett gave a mind-boggling explanation for why she accused Lee Zeldin and other Republicans on the House floor of taking donations from Jeffrey Epstein — desperately insisting she never said she was referring to the late convicted pedophile. Crockett (D-Texas) tried to defend herself Wednesday night in a CNN appearance after she was ripped for boldly implying that she’d found evidence linking the Long Island Republican and other prominent GOPers to the disgraced financier, who died in 2019. “Listen, I never said that it was that Jeffrey Epstein,” Crockett told “The Source” host Kaitlin Collins after being given the chance to correct the record.

With a little less than a year to go before the 2026 midterm elections, a Marist Poll shows Democrats leading Republicans by a massive +14 points in the generic ballot. “Democrats currently have a 14-point lead against the Republicans among registered voters nationally on the 2026 generic congressional ballot question,” writes Marist. “This has changed considerably. Since 2022, voters have been divided about which party’s candidate they would support.” This, even though those polled “place most of the blame for the shutdown on congressional Democrats.” Still, “six in ten [blame] either the President or the GOP in Congress.”
