Democratic Seattle Mayor-elect Katie Wilson declared that she will not allow private grocery stores to close in a resurfaced video from September. Wilson said during her mayoral run that corporate grocery chains should not be allowed to only sell food to those who can afford it and expressed support for a “public option,” meaning that government-run grocery stores would be established.

Democrats thought they had a winning hand when they released three carefully selected Jeffrey Epstein emails on Wednesday morning. The timing was no accident. With their caucus still reeling from their base turning on them for caving on the government shutdown, they needed a distraction, and they believed these emails would deliver one. They were wrong. The so-called bombshell consisted of three email exchanges. The crown jewel of their selective leak was a 2011 email between Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in which Epstein described Trump as "the dog that hasn't barked." He noted that a victim had spent hours with Trump at Epstein’s house.

Across three-fifths of the United States, the Trump administration has found half a million people receiving SNAP benefits twice over and 5,000 dead people receiving them. In deep blue states, the fraud is probably much worse.
It is important to clarify that 20+ states out of the 50 did not comply with the federal government's request for information on SNAP beneficiaries, likely because they are trying to hide how many illegal aliens are illicitly receiving food stamps. So the horrifying numbers revealed by U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins on Laura Ingraham's Fox News show, The Ingraham Angle, are actually incomplete, and will probably be much higher

Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania was hospitalized early Thursday after suffering a fall near his home in Braddock, according to a statement from his office.
“During an early morning walk, Senator Fetterman sustained a fall near his home in Braddock,” the statement, which his office posted to X, read. “Out of an abundance of caution, he was transported to a hospital in Pittsburgh.”
The statement continued, “Upon evaluation, it was established he had a ventricular fibrillation flare-up that led to Senator Fetterman feeling light-headed, falling to the ground and hitting his face with minor injuries. Senator Fetterman had this to say:

A new email released by the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday revealed that the late sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein was advised that he could “finish” President Donald Trump on the eve of the 2016 presidential election.
In a message addressed to Epstein on October 29, 2016 reported on by The Miami Herald‘s Julie Brown, author Michael Wolff wrote:
There’s an opportunity to come forward this week and talk about Trump in such a way that could garner you great sympathy and help finish him. Interested?

We hear that there is a lot of conflict on the other side. Some call it generational, or reminiscent of “Wild in the Streets”, or that movie about not trusting anyone over 30. Others say it’s ideological, or a desperate battle between center-left Democrats and the crazy left. I am not sure what to call it, but they sure are angry over there.
Well, we saw the first battle over the shutdown, and now get ready for the next episode over free buses. The New York City mayor-elect promised free buses, and the governor of New York responded with “we can’t afford it.”

You've heard of biting off your nose to spite your face, but what about biting off taxpayers' noses because you don't like someone else?
Chicago City Treasurer Melissa Conyears-Ervin announced Wednesday that she will refuse to invest taxpayer money in the safest, most secure, most loss-proof investment in world history: U.S. Treasuries. She told aldermen that it's a way to push back on “the authoritarian regime of Donald Trump.” I'm sure she'll push back on Trump just as soon as Chicago buys U.S. Treasuries. The city currently doesn't own any. “I’m going to use that voice that our citizens gave me to say loud and clear to Donald Trump:

The fascist who gave fascism its name came to an ugly end. Benito Mussolini was impaled on a meat hook and hung upside-down from a lamppost. Fascists don’t tolerate failure.
Democrat leader Charles Schumer is someone I don’t like, and I felt a certain schadenfreude when his Democrat “friends” blamed him for their caving on what has come to be called the “Schumer Shutdown” or, more accurately, the “Schumer Sh*tshow.”
But there’s something disquieting about the barrage of criticism from the left.

Republican Rep. Tim Burchett (TN-18) offered up a softball pitch to Democrats suddenly clamoring for public transparency regarding the Jeffrey Epstein files. They whiffed worse than the Mighty Casey.
Why? Because it's all a political ploy meant to take down their nemesis, President Donald Trump.
As RedState Managing Editor Jennifer Van Laar reported Wednesday, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee genuinely thought they finally had Trump cornered when it came to the Epstein files. They released a trove of 20,000 documents from the late sex-trafficker's estate, then honed in on three particular out-of-context emails which, in their minds, showed something nefarious.
Instead, it blew up spectacularly when it was

The New York City Police Department has to be feeling cursed these days. Having barely recovered from the dark years of Bill de Blasio and still emerging from the chaos of the Eric Adams era, the NYPD now faces the daunting prospect of reporting to democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani. But don’t bet against the men and women in blue. They are remarkably resilient—and they may have a secret weapon in their experienced and savvy commissioner, Jessica Tisch.
The NYPD had a notoriously fractious relationship with de Blasio

Stunning intraparty tensions erupted on the House floor when one Democrat accused another of undermining the Constitution. Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, D-Wash., unexpectedly rose during House votes on an unrelated issue Wednesday night to demand a vote on condemning Rep. Jesús "Chuy" García, D-Ill., for unexpectedly dropping his re-election bid, which effectively made way for his chief of staff to run in his place. As is the custom for forcing a House vote via a "privileged resolution," Gluesenkamp Perez read her legislation out loud.

We’ve seen the coddling of the violent anarchist group Antifa here in the United States as Democrats pretend it doesn’t really exist, despite their regular acts of brutality against ICE officers and anyone who doesn't agree with The loosely organized group also operates in Europe, and now the U.S. State Department is calling them what they are: Foreign Terrorist Organizations.Missouri Sen. Eric Schmitt (R) lauded the decision on social media ThursdayWhat does the move actually mean? It allows the U.S. to go after them where it hurts: in their pocketbooks.
