Mamdani's Version of Iran's Gay-Erasing

Has New York's Mayor-elect, the "Democratic Socialist" (Communist) Zohran Mamdani, found a cynical way to appease his Islamic constituency while also making nicey-nice with his "woke" supporters? Because his latest loony-left policy proposal sure makes it look like he's trying to do just that. Townhall's Amy Curtis has details: This is such a good point that this writer is mad she didn't connect the dots first. She has, however, written several articles about Zohran Mamdani and his troubling anti-gay ties. This includes a relationship with Ugandan politician Rebecca Kadaga, who supported legislation that would imprison gays for life; Imam Siraj Wahhaj, who called gays the "disease of society"

Democrat's own this dictator. Do not let them forget it! Especially democrats in the media. They could have reported these things long before people cast any votes and they chose "Democrat" over sanity and decency. They chose hate over anything that resembled love.

I blame the liberal woke media for laying cover for this radical Islamic Marxist, aligning themselves with he woke self-deluded Left who can't think rationally. I like Netanyaho's statement that gays for Hamas was like chickens for KFC. Mamdani is a deceptive front man for an Islamic invasion, much like CAIR.

Truns out that Mandami is a lot like Obama Care. With Obama Care, Democrats had to vote for it to find out what was in it (per Pelosi). In New York, they had to vote for Mandami to find out what he really stood for. Neither, aparently, seems to be turning out to be what was sold to the public.

Echoing #2....gay life in the Big Apple will be quite interesting. In addition to avoiding getting snatched up to "sightsee" at one of the city's really, really tall skyscrapers, they'll have to worry about being snatched up for a little non-elective surgery. And what about Broadway? Numerous gay actors will have to behave carefully or else turn down roles. Survival is key. Maybe that old closet will look safer now. What about the gay bars? Will we see the gay version of Prohibition happening?

They have served his purpose. With the kind of foolproof vote fraud that comes from incumbency, 12th Imamdani will have no further need or use for either group. But it's pretty clear they won't be happy with their treatment.

Don't forget, these are the same people who marry 8 and 9 year old little girls and rape them. Even tho they may be 'married' - no 8 or 9 year old child can consent to sex. I don't understand how this guy won but I'll never believe it was legitimately. Even New Yorkers can't be this dumb.

Democrat Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03) did the right thing in pushing for a vote on a "disapproval resolution" against one of her leftist colleagues, and now she must pay the price. That is the gist of the latest drama playing out among the House Democrat Caucus after the lower chamber voted on Tuesday in favor of the resolution, with 23 Democrats crossing the aisle to vote with Republicans (236-183-4) in what ended up being a deeply humiliating moment not just for Rep. Jesús "Chuy" Garcia (IL-04) but for Democrat House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08), who had urged his caucus to vote against it. In a nutshell,

Anti-Israel agitators who spread disruption at US colleges and were punished by authorities were awarded checks for $1,000 by a Muslim nonprofit, The Post has learned. The money was given to students who faced penalties for leading pro-Palestinian protests before and after the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 2023, according to a bombshell report by the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) and the Intelligent Advocacy Network (IAN). The cash was awarded from a “Champions of Justice Fund,” set up by the California chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) as “institutional endorsement,” the report claims. In California, the largest arm of the CAIR web of nonprofits,

From The Hill newspaper, Senate unanimously approves bill to force release of Epstein files. No doubt that Pres. Trump will quickly sign the measure. Also from The Hill, The Senate agreed by unanimous consent Tuesday to approve a House-passed bill to require the Justice Department to release all unclassified records and documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, sending the bill to President Trump’s desk for a signature. UNCLASSIFED? What, what? So this entire pointless exercise just got more pointless (pointlesser? pointleast?). What about other government agencies, like the CIA or NSA?

The Trump administration has been secretly formulating a new plan to end the war in Ukraine in consultation with Russia, Axios reported Tuesday, citing U.S. and Russian officials. It is a 28-point roadmap inspired by U.S. President Donald Trump's plan for the Gaza ceasefire, the news outlet reported. Similar to the Gaza plan, the proposal would consist of "peace in Ukraine, security guarantees, security in Europe, and future U.S. relations with Russia and Ukraine," Axios reported, citing sources. The U.S. special envoy, Steve Witkoff, is leading the formation of the plan and "has discussed it extensively with Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev," Axios reported, citing a U.S. official.

Jeff Bezos made some significant changes at The Washington Post, most notably to the Opinion Page. The first real signal of what was coming was his decision to quash the Post's endorsement of Kamala Harris in the election, which led to an inexorable exodus from the top echelons of the paper. He instituted buyouts, and made clear that paper would no longer be laser-focused on being a shill for the Democrats and their further left-wing allies. He announced to the world that the Post was moving in a new direction, and the big question became whether that was possible, and how much things would change.

The Council’s vote was also a major diplomatic victory for the Trump administration. For the past two years, as the conflict between Israel and Hamas has raged, the United States had been isolated

The proposed changes—which were recently approved by the service's governors—follow the release of its fiscal year 2025 financial results, which showed losses of $9 billion, despite a fairly modest revenue growth. The proposed changes will increase rates by 6.6 percent for Priority Mail, 5.1 percent for Priority Mail Express, 7.8 percent for USPS Ground Advantage, and 6 percent for Parcel Select.
