Today is Election Day, and for half a dozen states in particular, it could be the day that determines whether the most Communist wing of the Democrats triumphs or not. New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani and Virginia gubernatorial and attorney general candidates Abigail Spanberger and Jay Jones have made themselves infamous with their numerous scandals. But there are also key elections in multiple states for judges, and of course, congressional representatives, both of whom most certainly shape both state and national policy. There’s also the gerrymandering proposition in California, and Republican Jack Ciattarelli could be the next governor of New Jersey. Every election is important because

Regardless where you reside, from the article: Every election is important because every election helps determine how your freedom is protected or attacked for the next two to six years.

Hir submit too soon. I would vote for the Pubbies, although NYC might require a Cuomo vote. I loved PDJT's comment on that, U wonder if he still votes there.

50 will probably win, despite this disenfranchised Californian's 'no' vote. I wonder if the news here will even bother reporting the results. Or will the Dems simply begin the redistricting process?

Many people assume that the Islamic State (ISIS) is a thing of the past. No one, however, bothered to tell ISIS. On Tuesday, Nov. 4, the jihad terror group promised to make 11/4 a day that New Yorkers will remember the way they remember 9/11. Announcing "Operation Manhattan Project,” the jihad group began piously: “All praise is due to Allah and may his peace and blessing be upon His Messenger and upon his companions and family.” Praising Allah, however, was by no means all that they had in mind. “We, in the Islamic State,” the communique continued, “would like to express our sincerest excitement and deepest commendation for today’s jihad

The White House offered no public condolences Tuesday on the death of former Vice President Dick Cheney — saying flags were lowered to half-staff at the executive mansion because the law requires it. President Trump has repeatedly attacked Cheney, who died Monday at age 84, as a “warmonger” and sparred with his daughter, former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) who served as the top Republican on the House select committee that investigated Trump’s role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot. Both Dick and Liz Cheney endorsed then-Vice President Kamala Harris in last year’s election, with the former VP saying Trump was the greatest threat to the country since its founding.

Rep. Multiple reports — including the Chicago Sun-Times, Politico, and The Hill — confirm Rep. Jesús “Chuy” García, 69, is not planning to run for reelection, despite previously filing petitions with the Illinois State Board of Elections on October 27. According to those reports, chief of staff Patty Garcia filed her own nominating petitions on Monday at 5 p.m., the deadline for entry,

Dick Cheney, who died on Monday, was one of the most prominent and polarizing Republican vice presidents in history -- and in recent years a blunt-spoken critic of Donald Trump. Dick Cheney and his daughter, former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney, voiced their opposition to Trump after his push to deny the 2020 election results and the pro-Trump mob attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. In 2024, Dick Cheney and Liz Cheney endorsed Democrat Kamala Harris over Trump. A new Pentagon policy will severely restrict the ability of so-called transgender members of the Armed Forces to avoid discharge by convincing a separation board to retain them on active duty. Under previous policy, transgenders identified for discharge could appeal to a separation board to overturn the administrative process. The new policy permits commanders to set aside the separation board recommendation and require discharge. One of President Trump's earliest acts was to issue an executive order titled Prioritizing Military Excellence and Readiness. This order revoked a Joe Biden, or perhaps an autopenned, executive order which had encouraged transgenders to join the military and protected those currently on duty;

"Well done my friend. Who knew this would. WASHINGTON — Democrats are bracing for the possible retirement of Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, one of the party’s most powerful, popular and effective leaders, who served as chief antagonist to President Donald Trump during his first term and has quietly counseled Democrats as they take on Trump in his second term. She is expected to make an announcement about her future after Tuesday’s elections, when voters will consider a ballot measure, known as “Proposition 50,” that would redraw the state’s congressional lines. Pelosi is a prominent proponent of the plan, which Democrats hope would net them several seats in next year’s midterm elections.

Fox News Channel's Maria Bartiromo asked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Sunday if he thought the government would open this week, as the shutdown was "seriously impacting the U.S. economy." Cruz had an intelligent take on when it might be over, and why.

The Vatican’s doctrinal office said Tuesday the titles of “Co-Redemptrix” and “Mediatrix” are not appropriate ways to describe Mary’s participation in salvation. In “Mater Populi Fidelis” (“The Mother of the Faithful People of God”), the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) said when an expression requires frequent explanation to maintain the correct meaning, it becomes unhelpful. “In this case, the expression ‘Co-redemptrix’ does not help extol Mary as the first and foremost collaborator in the work of Redemption and grace, for it carries the risk of eclipsing the exclusive role of Jesus Christ,” according to the doctrinal note, released Nov. 4.
