Virginia attorney general candidate Jay Jones (D.) launched a canvassing event Sunday alongside Swing Left, an activist group that has pushed bail funds that have freed violent criminals and has called for "divesting resources away from policing." "Great to stand alongside @swingleft and @yasminradjy at a canvass launch in Newport News," Jones posted to X. "With just three days until the election, Virginians are ready to get out the vote and flip the AG’s office blue!" Swing Left boasts a million-member grassroots network that has poured more than $140 million into Democratic campaigns, organizations, and voting efforts and has contacted more than 50 million voters since 2017.

Make it easier to free criminals from jail/prison and get rid of more cops. Beats the hell out of me how even the most liberal voters can say ''Sounds good to me'' and vote for that maniac.

What Jay Jones wrote in the e-mails and the remark about police officers he made to a Virginia delegate says what is at his core. He is seriously flawed and unstable. What other nefarious actions did Jay Jones carry out?

Many people assume that the Islamic State (ISIS) is a thing of the past. No one, however, bothered to tell ISIS. On Tuesday, Nov. 4, the jihad terror group promised to make 11/4 a day that New Yorkers will remember the way they remember 9/11. Announcing "Operation Manhattan Project,” the jihad group began piously: “All praise is due to Allah and may his peace and blessing be upon His Messenger and upon his companions and family.” Praising Allah, however, was by no means all that they had in mind. “We, in the Islamic State,” the communique continued, “would like to express our sincerest excitement and deepest commendation for today’s jihad
Trump White House snubs ex-VP Dick Cheney,

The White House offered no public condolences Tuesday on the death of former Vice President Dick Cheney — saying flags were lowered to half-staff at the executive mansion because the law requires it. President Trump has repeatedly attacked Cheney, who died Monday at age 84, as a “warmonger” and sparred with his daughter, former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) who served as the top Republican on the House select committee that investigated Trump’s role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot. Both Dick and Liz Cheney endorsed then-Vice President Kamala Harris in last year’s election, with the former VP saying Trump was the greatest threat to the country since its founding.

Rep. Jesús “Chuy” García is not expected to continue his reelection bid in Illinois’ 4th Congressional District after his chief of staff filed nominating petitions at the deadline, closing off entry to other Democratic candidates and leaving her as the only other Democrat positioned on the ballot. Multiple reports — including the Chicago Sun-Times, Politico, and The Hill — confirm Rep. Jesús “Chuy” García, 69, is not planning to run for reelection, despite previously filing petitions with the Illinois State Board of Elections on October 27. According to those reports, chief of staff Patty Garcia filed her own nominating petitions on Monday at 5 p.m., the deadline for entry,

Today is Election Day, and for half a dozen states in particular, it could be the day that determines whether the most Communist wing of the Democrats triumphs or not. New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani and Virginia gubernatorial and attorney general candidates Abigail Spanberger and Jay Jones have made themselves infamous with their numerous scandals. But there are also key elections in multiple states for judges, and of course, congressional representatives, both of whom most certainly shape both state and national policy. There’s also the gerrymandering proposition in California, and Republican Jack Ciattarelli could be the next governor of New Jersey. Every election is important because

A new Pentagon policy will severely restrict the ability of so-called transgender members of the Armed Forces to avoid discharge by convincing a separation board to retain them on active duty. Under previous policy, transgenders identified for discharge could appeal to a separation board to overturn the administrative process. The new policy permits commanders to set aside the separation board recommendation and require discharge. One of President Trump's earliest acts was to issue an executive order titled Prioritizing Military Excellence and Readiness. This order revoked a Joe Biden, or perhaps an autopenned, executive order which had encouraged transgenders to join the military and protected those currently on duty;

The Vatican’s doctrinal office said Tuesday the titles of “Co-Redemptrix” and “Mediatrix” are not appropriate ways to describe Mary’s participation in salvation. In “Mater Populi Fidelis” (“The Mother of the Faithful People of God”), the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) said when an expression requires frequent explanation to maintain the correct meaning, it becomes unhelpful. “In this case, the expression ‘Co-redemptrix’ does not help extol Mary as the first and foremost collaborator in the work of Redemption and grace, for it carries the risk of eclipsing the exclusive role of Jesus Christ,” according to the doctrinal note, released Nov. 4.

The Associated Press called the race for Mamdani, 34, about 40 minutes after polls closed, and with at least a few hundred thousand votes still to be counted. Mamdani carried 50.4% of votes to Andrew Cuomo’s 41.3% at around 9:40 p.m. The projection — which came with 75% of votes counted — also found GOP nominee Curtis Sliwa with rock-bottom 7.5%.
