The James ‘Cardinal’ Comey I knew

The Justice Department’s announcement that former FBI Director James Comey has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of making a false statement and obstruction of a congressional proceeding is all but a fait accompli. Pious, sanctimonious self-righteousness and hypocritical moralizing had long ago cost him his professional reputation. With charges of perjury and obstruction, Comey could face imprisonment.

To say that this guy dislikes Comey is an understatement. He feels the same way about Comey as most everyone on the right feels about him. He is all of the adjectives he was called in this article and then some.

What this case will do, and it's well deserved, as Comey looks to be the architect of the whole Russia scheme. He's at the center of each major issue and was in the room when the FBI had debunked the whole dossier and any Trump campaign involvement. He may claim to not remember or recall, but the receipts are there and he's in attendance. Same with when cleared Hillary (without even anyone interviewing her) and stated "no career prosecutor would prosecute such a case" This was simply indicating he had cleared the deck for her and all who were involved would expect to be handsomely rewarded for such a favor when she became POTUS. He was in the room when Obama didn't want the original FBI report clearing the Trump campaign of the Russia collusion and requested a new review. This is where Brennan and company decided to only use 3 of the 17 agency reports to create a new conclusion since the other 14 would not go along. Of course the 3 who provided the "new" analysis which was later used to fool the FISA Court were headed by Comey, Brennan and Clapper (go figure, huh?). So, of course he knew he was lying to the FISA court when he signed those 3 FISA declarations without telling the Court the additional information that they KNEW would likely have the Court reject the application to spy on the Trump Campaign. He was in the room in early January in the Oval Office where they discussed the scheme against the incoming President - he even bragged how he wouldn't normally have done so but took advantage of the naive folks like Gen. Flynn and later the honor of Sen. Sessions (to recuse himself and thus install their own people to run the operation). Wonder how many of the Republican Congress persons feel about how they were used by "their good friends across the aisle". This whole case will re-examine the genesis of why many think they are supposed to hate Trump and then Republicans.

The APee's headline "reported" in my paper is 'Trump Escalates Retribution Campaign' claiming he's going after his "perceived political enemies". Of course what they failed to mention are the crimes that Comey did in actuality commit. The "Cardinal" will eventually find out that he's not above the law.....even if he's 6'8". I hope his fall is long and very, very HARD as well as public. I want to see that arrogance wrung out of him in a huge way and I hope he is mentioned in the history books as the criminal and liar he is.

Bill Clinton was impeached for lying under oath, but the Democrats and their lackeys in the media converted that into the belief he was persecuted for marital infidelity, which to Leftists is no big deal. All of the current crop of Democrat criminals likely committed real and serious crimes, but they're all being portrayed as politically persecuted by Trump out of his "need for revenge."

Hillary and the dims blame Comey's 11th hour reporting of her pecadilloes as a reason for her loss. even after he single handedly exonerated her. Comey was compelled to reveal the illegal activities as the NYPD had Weiner's laptop containing the evidence an could release that evidence making Comey and the FBI appear incompetent and reveal the political bias. Comey was protecting himself.

How could such a scheming, evil, rotten, Trump hating, law hating, lawless man become the Head of the FBI? What happened to our premier law enforcement agency of our country to employ such a snake? How far have we (as a country) fallen? The only answer that comes to mind is a lack of morals and a lack of God fearing values with our political leaders. Not that they should be Christians, but they should have some Judeo-Christian beliefs and values to guide them. Apparently, Comey had none to guide him. Lying, cheating, stealing was second nature to him. In other words, James Comey is godless and needs repentance and God.

President Trump used an AI-generated video to mock Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) on Monday, hours after he met with the Democratic congressional leaders at the White House to discuss the looming government shutdown. The faux footage, posted by Trump on Truth Social, shows Jeffries – depicted with a mustache and sombrero – standing silently next to Schumer, who, in a fake voice, argues in favor of giving “illegal aliens free healthcare” as part of an effort to court “new voters” for the Democratic Party. A traditional Mexican folk song plays over the 35-second video, for which the White House appears to serve as the backdrop.

At an address of assembled generals and admirals, Pete Hegseth, the US defense secretary, outlined changes to military policy and philosophy in a set of 10 directives meant to change organizational culture around fitness, race and gender, describing the previous state of military affairs as the “woke department.” Donald Trump followed Hegseth’s call to embrace the virtues of lethality as a doctrine with a suggestion buried in an hour-long campaign-style speech that the gathering of officers and senior enlisted advisers should consider targeting US cities and civilian populations as a training exercise.

President Donald Trump’s 20-point peace plan to end the Gaza war, deliver the hostages, remove Hamas from power, ensure security for Israel and rebuild Gaza is ambitious and welcome, offering a real hope for regional peace and prosperity — if Hamas will take it, and maybe even if the terrorists won’t. The plan, conceived in concert with a range of regional powers, is equal parts idealistic and practical. And perhaps its most idealistic piece, the proposed “Board of Peace” — a multinational and interagency overseer to shepherd Gaza’s postwar progress — is the only realistic route out of this ghastly vortex.

Trump will fix it anyway; they'll admit he was half-right, and the cycle will start over. This happened with the overrun border and a National Guard presence in Washington, DC, and it's bound to happen in Portland, Oregon, too. This month, the Department of Education released its latest edition of the National Assessment of Educational Progress, the standardized tests better known as the Nation’s Report Card. The results have left me blazing with rage. In my home state of California, for instance, only 30% of public school fourth graders can read proficiently. Fully 41% cannot even read at a basic level — which is to say, they cannot really understand and interpret written text at all. Eighth graders, as you might expect, look almost as bad. These numbers have been tumbling downhill in California and more widely across the U.S. for years now,

Who is the census for? Or more importantly, who does Congress represent? If you answered "U.S. citizens," you're correct – or at least you should be. At the start of each decade, the federal government tallies who's living in the country and where, citizens and non-citizens alike. That census data determines how many seats in the House of Representatives each state receives, as well as its share of Electoral College votes for president. This whole process is mandated by Article I, Section 2 of the Constitution, the part most focused on proper representation. But representation for whom? Since 1790, anyone and everyone living within America's borders, "excluding Indians not taxed."

Former Vice President Kamala Harris released the full version of her tell-all political memoir last week, writing in intense detail about the 107 days of her presidential campaign and what she believes were the moments that ultimately cost her the presidency. The book pulls back the curtain on Harris’s historically short presidential run. But in doing so, it has somehow managed to put the Democratic Party in a worse spot than it once was. It also did Harris herself no favors as she contemplates another shot at the White House. As longtime Democratic operative David Axelrod put it, “If there’s a political strategy here (for Harris), it’s a bad one.”

We have no idea whether the current DOJ indictments will lead to a conviction of James Comey, namely that he authorized FBI subordinates to leak to the media and then lied about it, obstructing Congress in the process. It may come down to the word of Comey, a known fabricator, against the testimony of his former subordinate, Andrew McCabe, an admitted liar. Take your pick. We know, however, that Comey is not facing a Trumpian $500 million in potential fines, nor 93 indictments, nor the scrutiny of five different local, state, and federal prosecutors. Nor, like some of the J6 arrested, will he be sent to solitary confinement

Earlier this week, drones forced Denmark to close its airports, including Copenhagen Airport, which was closed for nearly four hours on Monday. Denmark has called the drones part of a "hybrid attack" but the government has stopped short of saying definitively who it believes is behind the missions.
