We have no idea whether the current DOJ indictments will lead to a conviction of James Comey, namely that he authorized FBI subordinates to leak to the media and then lied about it, obstructing Congress in the process. It may come down to the word of Comey, a known fabricator, against the testimony of his former subordinate, Andrew McCabe, an admitted liar. Take your pick. We know, however, that Comey is not facing a Trumpian $500 million in potential fines, nor 93 indictments, nor the scrutiny of five different local, state, and federal prosecutors. Nor, like some of the J6 arrested, will he be sent to solitary confinement

Denmark on Sunday ordered a ban on civil drone flights, after several unmanned aerial vehicles were witnessed at military facilities overnight, following a week in which drone sorties caused the temporary closures of several airports in the Nordic country.
The Danish military said it had deployed "several capacities" in response to the overnight drone sightings.
Earlier this week, drones forced Denmark to close its airports, including Copenhagen Airport, which was closed for nearly four hours on Monday. Denmark has called the drones part of a "hybrid attack" but the government has stopped short of saying definitively who it believes is behind the missions.

In the matter of James Brien Comey Jr., how finds the court? I do not mean a court of law. I mean the tribunal of history. Granted, we will be hearing from a Virginia court of law about JBC quite soon. On Thursday, Comey became the first former FBI director in history to be indicted by a grand jury for a felony. The charges? Lying to Congress and obstructing justice. (For the legal eagles among you, the statutes in question are USC 18 §1001 and USC 18 §1505.)

Vindictive former FBI Director James Comey’s power trip is finally over as he has learned the “rule of law” he so often speaks of applies to him too.
A federal grand jury has indicted Comey for obstructing a congressional investigation into the disclosure of sensitive information and with making false statements to the federal government, according to a DOJ statement. The false statements charge carries a penalty of up to five years in prison, which means Comey may be fitted for the prison jumpsuit he so dearly wanted to see President Donald Trump wear.

The Justice Department’s announcement that former FBI Director James Comey has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of making a false statement and obstruction of a congressional proceeding is all but a fait accompli.
Pious, sanctimonious self-righteousness and hypocritical moralizing had long ago cost him his professional reputation.
With charges of perjury and obstruction, Comey could face imprisonment.

The pain of a government shutdown won’t just be political: Millions of low-income women and children could be left hungry as soon as next week if congressional Democrats and the White House do not come to a deal.
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children will soon run out of funding. If they don’t cut a deal to keep the government open, a senior White House official told RealClearPolitics, “Democrats would be turning their back on WIC recipients.”
Called WIC for short, the program provides vouchers for healthy food to low-income pregnant and postpartum women,

Kamala Harris’s book 107 Days confirms two truths: Joe Biden never should have sought re-election and she did not belong on a national ticket.
Biden was snared by Father Time and hubris. The 46th president was not the transformational figure he saw in the mirror. More than half the US rated him a failure. “People hate Joe Biden,” Harris quotes David Plouffe, her senior strategist and an Obama White House veteran, as saying.
What’s unstated is that Harris was never a vote-magnet.

A Trump administration official was physically assaulted by a "deranged leftist" inside the United Nations Thursday afternoon during the gathering of the UN General Assembly, Fox News Digital has learned. An official working in international relations for the Department of Health and Human Services was in New York City serving in a support role for HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the department’s leadership team at UNGA.
"An HHS official was followed into a bathroom, recorded, physically assaulted and verbally accosted by a deranged leftist at the UN who somehow entered the venue past multiple layers of security," White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly told Fox News Digital.

Some really big news in the American military community broke this week, as Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is convening an unprecedented meeting of his senior generals and admirals in Quantico, Virginia, on Tuesday, September 30th. As the proprietor of a somewhat prolific X account that largely focuses on military matters, many people have been asking me what I think this meeting is all about, as the meeting is currently shrouded in mystery. So what do I think?

FOX News contributor and George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley analyzes the breaking news of the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey.
GILLIAN TURNER, FOX NEWS, 'SPECIAL REPORT' GUEST HOST: Ben told us a moment ago that he would not be surprised if this ultimately leads to a conviction for Comey. What are your thoughts?
JONATHAN TURLEY: Well, we really need to see what those underlying allegations are. One of the reasons that we've been focusing on his statement in 2020 about the league is because that's not a matter of interpretation.

The White House is telling federal agencies to prepare large-scale firings of workers if the government shuts down next week in a partisan fight over spending plans – prompting the Democrats to accuse Donald Trump of intimidation tactics.
In a memo released on Wednesday night, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) said agencies should consider a reduction in force for federal programs whose funding would lapse next week, is not otherwise funded and is “not consistent with the president’s priorities.” That would be a much more aggressive step than in previous shutdowns, when federal workers not deemed essential were furloughed but returned to their

Borussia Dortmund has reportedly placed social media restrictions on one of their players after he offered his thoughts and prayers to the murdered American MAGA political pundit, Charlie Kirk.
Kirk was assassinated on September 10 while he was speaking at an event at Utah Valley University. The killing has become a divisive moment in the already-tense American political landscape in the following days.
In the aftermath, Dortmund forward Felix Nmecha posted a pair of tributes to Kirk on his Instagram story.
