An anti-ICE protester in Massachusetts forgot to put her car in park while yelling at agents making an arrest of an illegal alien and her car rolled into a lake and sank, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement source tells Fox News. It happened in Upton, Massachusetts, a small town in Worcester County, roughly 40 miles west of Boston. Video and a photo, provided to Fox News by an ICE source, captured the incident. In the clip, a voice can be heard saying, “Well that sucks. Look at that, Lucy. Her car got lost,” as the woman’s car drifts farther into the water. An officer can also be seen passing in front of the camera

She was told not to park there, but did so anyway. Her insurance should NOT cover this in my opinion. It was her own negligence and fault. I'm sure she feels better that she was able to yell at the ICE agents though.

I handled auto insurance claims for over 30 years, including 9 years as a property damage claim supervisor. If she has “comprehensive “ coverage on her auto policy, her claim will be paid. Since it sank and tge water got above the dashboard, the car will be declared a total loss and she will be paid the actual cash value. If auto insurance coverage excluded stupidity, half of the claim files could be closed.

Protesters gathered Friday afternoon to oppose the recent arrest of Ian Roberts, an alleged illegal alien working as a high-ranking school official in Des Moines, Iowa. Earlier that day, Roberts had evaded arrest from immigration officers; he was superintendent of the Des Moines Public Schools system, according to KCCI-TV in Iowa. After catching him, Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Roberts possessed an illegally-owned pistol, which he carried in a school-issued car. He also reportedly had $3,000 cash and a fixed-blade hunting knife. Upon news of his arrest, leftists on social media called for an emergency protest, KCCI-TV reported Saturday.

Democrats have surely heard the sage advice that when you’re in a hole, drop the shovel and walk away. But they aren’t listening, and are still digging themselves in deeper and further out of favor. With the party out of power and wildly unpopular, last week demonstrated that many leading Dems are not just clueless — they’re also heartless. 1996 was the “Year of Welfare Reform,” including for migrants. The historic Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act was designed to “strengthen the principle that immigrants come to America to work, not to collect welfare benefits.” PRWORA cut off illegal aliens from most federal public benefits. It instituted a five-year ineligibility period for lawful permanent residents (LPRs) for most federal welfare programs, “to send a clear signal that immigrants are expected to … not become dependent on public welfare benefits.” The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act, enacted later in 1996, required that U.S. citizens and LPRs sponsoring relatives for green cards sign legally binding affidavits of support,

Factor in layoffs, buyouts, early retirements, and natural attrition, and the government could shed roughly 275,000 employees by the end of 2025.
