Climate Lies from the Associated Press

Original Article

The Associated Press is one of the world’s worst sources of disinformation. The AP’s self-description is the opposite of the truth: While others may tell you how to feel about the headlines, AP tells you what actually happened. No spin. No agenda. Just journalism that respects your intelligence. A case in point is this story on agriculture: “To get that perfect ear of corn, weather has to cooperate. But climate change is making it dicier.” Across major corn-growing states, climate change is fueling conditions that make watching the corn grow a nail-biter for farmers. Factors like consistently high summer overnight temperatures, droughts and heavier-than-usual rains at the wrong time… Got that?

"The Associated Press is one of the world’s worst sources of disinformation." I'd change 'worst' to 'most prolific' because AP is a very good source of disinformation. By the way, corn likes high temperatures and lots of moisture. I had the best sweet corn crop this year that I ever have had.

From the article: "The Associated Press was once a respected news organization, but now its reporters and editors are hacks who promote liberal narratives, not facts." That's all I need to know. Pukes as "reporters".

Near me, we had a VERY wet Spring and it damaged the corn and the yield and quality is down. Down the road a few miles, they are having a good year. Such variations from year to year are normal. It's called weather. And, obviously, since the yield is overall up this year, it was a localized impact. Again, that's weather. The information in this article, from the USDA, is readily available to anyone who bothers to look, unless you deliberately choose not to because it doesn't fit your agenda. But after doing this continually, your bias and lies become obvious because the truth catches up to you. "AP tells you what actually happened" Nope, it obviously doesn't. Talking to a couple of people that support your agenda is not investigation or proof of what is happening. "No spin" Ummm, so much so that we are dizzy. On this topic and almost everything else. "No agenda" Well there is that Climate Alarmism problem you have. They are like an alcoholic denying they have a drinking problem. "Just journalism that respects your intelligence" Sorry, you insult my intelligence and prove your lack of intelligence with your stupid and transparent attempts to deceive me. The only people that think you are right are Leftists that can't think their way out of a paper bag. Leftist media has become so bad that when we read a story from these sources we ASSUME it's a lie unless we can find corroboration at another, reliable site. Trust and reliability is like virginity. Once you have lost it, it's gone. Saying, "It just ain't so", is rubbing salt in the wound.

The chart from the UN showing corn production 1961 - 2023 looks like a chart of atmospheric CO2 increase. Plants just can't get enough of the gas.

Wonder if the AP is going to report on the recent announcement: "Antarctica shocks scientists with 100 billion ton ice GAIN in 1 year, this is defying long-term melting trend and sparking fresh climate questions." The question I always wonder is why is it only "Western" countries who are fanatically behind this climate change issue? There are very smart people in India, China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, etc... Do they not understand or are we not being told what they know? And if there is an issue, why the rush when the Paris Accords had a target date of 2100 (75 years to go) to meet the target. Plus, NOTHING the climate alarmist have stated have occurred in the past 25 years. Al Gore said NYC would be under water already. Greta's claims are not going to happen either.

Speaking of the A** Press, has anyone seen any information from these myrmidons regarding all the record low temperatures which have occurred over the contiguous U.S. in the last few weeks? I sure haven't. Weather and climate are only a couple of their favorite subjects to lie about.

I no longer call the mainstream media scribes "reporters." I call them "influencers" because they are obviously more concerned with shaping public opinion than they are with truthful reporting of the facts.

The Flak in the Sky During World War II, bomber crews flying over Germany were experts in anti-aircraft ordnance. I've read accounts where pilots and crew were able to predict their location by the amount and variety of flak they were receiving. Accounts such as these gave rise to popular idioms we use today. In this case, if flak lit up the sky, you knew you were over the target. Nobody wasted shells on empty skies; the closer you were to hitting a high-value target, the heavier the fire. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President Donald Trump's secretary of health and human services, is facing such intense anti-aircraft flak

Happy Monday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) There is a lot of darkness out there. I've been wrestling with what to say to kick this off; something deep and insightful. Really, all I want to do is punch something. The nightmarish video from Charlotte, N.C., of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska being murdered by a psychopath who was roaming freely thanks to the Democrats' violent felon fetish is sickening and infuriating. Hence the desire to punch something. This is a story that is difficult to tell, but needs to be told. Guess who isn't telling it, though? Stephen King seems to have replaced his talent for weaving chilling tales with an unhealthy obsession with Donald Trump and his supporters. Instead of focusing on novels, King has turned himself into yet another left-wing pundit who just happens to have a long list of bestsellers on his résumé. And while his books used to inspire genuine fear, his political predictions are now nothing more than laughable, partisan nonsense. His latest declaration is so ridiculous, it proves just how consumed he’s become with Trump Derangement Syndrome. According to King, years from now, many Americans who voted for Donald Trump will deny ever having done so.

I’m sure you’ve heard about that young Ukrainian refugee murdered by a thug on a Charlotte light rail train. And the only reason you heard of it is because a local Charlotte TV channel got ahold of the video. The incident happened two weeks ago. They report, WBTV on Friday, Sept. 5 obtained surveillance video of a deadly stabbing that happened two weeks earlier on the Lynx Blue Line light rail system in Charlotte, North Carolina. After announcing he won’t seek a third term, uber liberal Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers — the palest man in politics — looks like he’s preparing to burn the mother down. As the MacIver Institute reported this week, Evers is using his recently expanded power to erase mothers and motherhood via trans-agenda friendly language in state Department of Health Services programs. The Evers administration’s Clearinghouse Rule 25-004 redefines, among other gender-specific terms, “pregnant women” as “pregnant persons” in a forced new administrative rule. The language swap trades “Pregnant woman” for “pregnant member(s).” “This rule makes it crystal clear: in the Evers-Rodriguez administration,

The administration terminated a group of drug traffickers with extreme prejudice, to the dismay of liberals. And there was much more. But it was Greta Thunberg–specifically, her haircut–that more than anything else, provided material for meme-makers. Here we go with this week’s collection:

Federal officials made a high-seas interception of hundreds of thousands of pounds of two different precursor chemicals that are used to make methamphetamine, a shipment they say came from China and was destined for the Sinaloa cartel in Mexico. Jeanine Pirro, United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, announced what officials called the largest ever bust of precursor chemicals being shipped to a foreign terrorist organization during a news conference in Pasadena, Texas, on Wednesday. "Tons of chemicals that are used to create synthetic drugs like methamphetamine and fentanyl are shipped from China to Mexico in China's undeclared war against America," Pirro said. SOMERVILLE, Tenn. — Investigators released new information Friday after exhuming the body of Pauline Mullins Pusser nearly six decades after she was buried. Pauline was the wife of Sheriff Buford Pusser, a Tennessee legend known for carrying a stick as he cracked down on crime. Mark Davidson, District Attorney for the 25th Judicial District, said the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has “produced evidence sufficient to create probable cause.” That means that “more likely than not,” if Buford Pusser were alive today, an indictment could be presented to the McNairy County Grand Jury for their consideration against him for the murder of his wife. More than likely, Davidson explained,

President Donald Trump is still facing a $83.3 million payment to writer E. Jean Carroll after a federal appeals court rejected his challenge of a defamation verdict against him Monday. The ruling from the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upholds a lower court decision finding that Trump did, in fact, defame Carroll. Trump's lawyers argued his comments about Carroll were protected by presidential immunity and that the verdict in the case was unjust. The three-judge panel rejected both of those claims. "We conclude that Trump has failed to identify any grounds that would warrant reconsidering our prior holding on presidential immunity. We also conclude that the district court did not err

Letitia James’s New York State mortgage records indicate that she committed mortgage fraud on a $200,000 “Credit Line Mortgage” with Citizens Bank in 2021. Like other mortgages, it requires a signed note, a mortgage document, and recording with the county clerk. The mortgage document shows that James misrepresented her five-unit apartment building as a single-family dwelling. This false claim allowed James to avoid significantly higher commercial loan closing costs and a higher interest rate.

Late last week NBC ran a “news” story featuring a dozen disgruntled federal judges whose rulings against various Trump administration policies have been stayed or overturned by the Supreme Court. These lower court judges, none of whom had the courage to allow NBC to name them in the article, bewailed the failure of SCOTUS to provide sufficient justification for ruling against them. It’s blindingly obvious, however, that the real issue they are whining about is the Court’s refusal to countenance their usurpation of the President’s Article II powers and frustrate implementation of his agenda.
