Federal officials made a high-seas interception of hundreds of thousands of pounds of two different precursor chemicals that are used to make methamphetamine, a shipment they say came from China and was destined for the Sinaloa cartel in Mexico. Jeanine Pirro, United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, announced what officials called the largest ever bust of precursor chemicals being shipped to a foreign terrorist organization during a news conference in Pasadena, Texas, on Wednesday. "Tons of chemicals that are used to create synthetic drugs like methamphetamine and fentanyl are shipped from China to Mexico in China's undeclared war against America," Pirro said. Pirro said that 1,300 barrels containing 363,000 pounds

It’s amazing how quickly a meritorious upgrade to competent, patriotic government personnel, with the proper implementation of our Rule of Law, can bring about such a tremendous Fundamental Transformation back from bad to good. When I see a picture of Jeanine Pirro, I always think “Beautiful, Tiny, Talented & Tough”, and how thankful I am for her. God always bless, guide and protect her, and all of our team of good people who are working together so hard to make America great again.

I don't know enough about chemistry to know how to render these chemicals inert while still in the barrel, but if it's possible, I'd love to see us do that and then *deliver* the (now inert) barrels to the cartels. They could then claim the Chinese sent them defective merchandise and get into a urinary contest with the Chinese over who eats the costs. With luck, we'd stir up enough bad blood that the "business relationship" might be terminated.

Hmmm, maybe a good solution is to take the captured Chemicals and drop them on top of the Chinese Leaders and Mexico and Venezuela Leadership and Cartels. Let them breathe what they are poisoning us with!

After announcing he won’t seek a third term, uber liberal Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers — the palest man in politics — looks like he’s preparing to burn the mother down. As the MacIver Institute reported this week, Evers is using his recently expanded power to erase mothers and motherhood via trans-agenda friendly language in state Department of Health Services programs. The Evers administration’s Clearinghouse Rule 25-004 redefines, among other gender-specific terms, “pregnant women” as “pregnant persons” in a forced new administrative rule. The language swap trades “Pregnant woman” for “pregnant member(s).” “This rule makes it crystal clear: in the Evers-Rodriguez administration,

FBI Director Kash Patel said the FBI prevented a potential mass shooting at a preschool after agents arrested a man who allegedly posted threatening messages online. Writing under the username “CommentatorsHateMe,” Zachary Charles Newell allegedly posted a comment on YouTube indicating his intention to “shoot up” a preschool and kill black children. According to the complaint, that was not the only instance of Newell allegedly writing threatening and racist posts. "The comments posted by this suspect were violent, hateful and shocking to the conscience," Carteret County Sheriff Asa Buck told Fox News Digital

Happy Labor Day (Snip) What better topic for a brief Labor Day discussion than what the perils of communism bring to every one of their attempts at a workers' paradise? We're looking at some of our bluest cities trying to swim against freedom's tide and elect commies to run them. The "socialism/communism has just never been done right" vibe is forever strong on the Left. Nicolás Maduro is the current commie dictator of Venezuela, but he's pretty much just the ghost of Hugo Chávez, carrying on the work of destroying his country that his predecessor started early this century. The Venezuelan people haven't been able to stop the madness, but

SOMERVILLE, Tenn. — Investigators released new information Friday after exhuming the body of Pauline Mullins Pusser nearly six decades after she was buried. Pauline was the wife of Sheriff Buford Pusser, a Tennessee legend known for carrying a stick as he cracked down on crime. Mark Davidson, District Attorney for the 25th Judicial District, said the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has “produced evidence sufficient to create probable cause.” That means that “more likely than not,” if Buford Pusser were alive today, an indictment could be presented to the McNairy County Grand Jury for their consideration against him for the murder of his wife. More than likely, Davidson explained,

To be honest, most of this week’s news was pretty bleak. The positive highlight was probably Taylor Swift’s and Travis Kelce’s engagement, but somehow that didn’t lead to a lot of memes. Beyond that, the news featured vigorous attempts by the dishonest press to blame the victims (the U.K.) or inanimate objects (the U.S.). But I don’t think many were fooled. So it may be a little somber, but nevertheless, herewith The Week In Pictures:

On Monday, President Donald Trump moved to fire Lisa Cook, a Biden-nominated member of the Federal Reserve's Board of Governors. He moved to fire Cook for "cause," and that cause is clear enough: According to William Pulte, director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, Cook allegedly committed mortgage fraud by lying about her principal place of residence for purposes of securing more favorable interest rates -- and then failed to report her rental income from the properties, to boot. Trump's move is the first time a president has ever tried to fire a Fed governor for cause,

Because Trump has them defending the indefensible, all manner of criminals – rapists, child molesters, murderers as well as robbers, wife-beaters, shoplifters, vicious gang members who travel in packs in cities like D.C., Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles -- creating chaos and carnage; not to mention the millions of illegal aliens who have flooded so many cities and changed the culture of those communities. The footage, first shared by Inside Edition, was taken by local Fred Karger who told the outlet that from up close it resembled a scar from skin cancer surgery. The night before, he was also seen at a local ice cream shop wearing a baseball cap that appeared to cover the injury.

Have federal district judges peaked? Democrat judges, especially Biden judges, have been issuing insane rulings trying to stop President Trump from doing pretty much anything. These rulings are so bad that even Justice Kagan, hardly a Trump pal, was baffled by them. I’ve argued that these rulings are literal lawfare, there’s no pretense that these various blocks are even legal, they’re there to force Trump to go to the Supreme Court. And then the Supreme Court, especially its weakest man, Chief Justice Roberts to mull over what the cocktail party set will say and cringe over being accused of being a rubber stamp for Trump.

We’ve covered the story extensively—Donald Trump sees the ongoing, unthinkable level of crime and violence that goes on daily in the nation’s capital, decides to do something about it, federalizes the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), and deploys the National Guard. What happens? Crime plummets to levels not seen in years. If you’re a Democrat, however, you don’t like this for several reasons: 1) It makes President Trump look good, which you can’t stomach even if lives are at stake, and 2) you don’t actually care about crime and don’t mind seeing it continue in our nation’s cities. The Joe Biden autopen fiasco isn’t over, and it never went away. It just went dormant for a bit, but we knew something was going to drop, and it has. President Joe Biden signed a trove of clemency petitions before he shuffled out of the White House. There are concerns that he wasn’t cogent or even aware of what he was signing. That issue presented itself with executive orders, as told by Speaker Mike Johnson. The mountain of clemency petitions was navigated by a shoddy chain of command among top Biden staffers, and again, it presented issues about whether Joe Biden was aware of what was going on

Was floating a ban on trans people owning guns just some basement-level idiot’s idea for “owning the libs”? In the wake of Robin Westman’s deadly Minneapolis rampage, some troll in the bowels of the Trump Justice Department reportedly proposed blocking trans people from buying firearms by declaring them all “mentally ill.” This, of course, is absurd as a simple matter of law: No rule that strips a (dubiously-defined) group of their Second Amendment rights has any chance of holding up in court. And if it did somehow survive, that’s an open invitation for future progs to create their own “mentally ill by definition” categories — deployable to limit lots of other rights.

The new deployment comes on top of an already bristling U.S. military presence in the southern Caribbean as President Donald Trump carries out a campaign pledge to crack down on groups he blames for funneling drugs into the United States.
