The Trump administration used a drone strike to eliminate what it says was a Venezuelan boat filled with narcotics last week. When Vice President J.D. Vance applauded the operation as the “highest and best use of our military,” Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., compared the strike to a lynching.
After a left-wing social media reply guy calling the strike a “war crime,” Vance replied back, “I don’t give a (site censored) what you call it,” which triggered Paul’s bizarre comparison to lynch mobs in the Jim Crow South.
“JD(snip) Vance says killing people he accuses of a crime is the ‘highest

Hey, Paulsy, are you running for something? like president in 2028? Gotta keep your name in the news, doncha?

The question for me is, were they really drug smugglers? If so, they deserved their fate. The problem is the only word we have on that comes from the government.

Rand Paul is acting much like John McCain these days. He bitches about everything Trump does. He's just a malcontent who wants to be in on everything decision before it's made. If Paul wants to be Mr Big, then run for POTUS. If you win, then you can make the tough calls - otherwise, stay in your lane.

Paulie needs a visit from J.D. Vance , who will remind him in forthright and forceful language what team he’s supposed to be on.

Rand Paul is impartial. He treats his side the same way he treats his enemies. I did not say friends, as I don't think he has any.

I'm just a simple conservative and think Rand Paul, stubbornly libertarian, is acknowledging the extrajudicial nature of using the military to kill people accused of what is essentially criminal activity, with no military authorization or concurrence from Congress. If it is perfectly legal to strike a fast boat - full of terrorists, then why not take out entire cartel-related compounds - full of terrorists and their stuff, in whatever country in the Western Hemisphere that is ignoring or harboring them? If the president and Congress are on the same documented page, it is less likely that the courts will find due process issues. The War Powers Resolution of 1973, which became public law when 2/3rd of both House and Senate overoad Nixon's veto, is ripe for amendment, as it has been amended many times since enacted and codified in 50 U.S. Code 33.

As much as I love Kentucky, as I flew there from CA seven years ago to pick out my Yorkie pureblood champion, signed paperwork that she would have nothing removed once she was two years old, just ‘clipped’ as UCDavis, the best small dog teaching vet school on the West Coast agreed, we don’t appreciate anything else about that state, especially their misguided Senator Paul.
Please primary him Kentucky Patriots, ASAP!

What the most apparent conclusion one can make after seeing this article is that Rand Paul has finally come out as a full fledged employee of the Cartels! Is anyone really surprised? Me thinks not.
He very much deserves to be treated as such, to say the least!

Rand Paul is increasingly reminding me of Charles Lindbergh. Just the politics, not the heroic flight.

Next move is to have fighter planes take down aircraft coming in carrying drugs.
It's a real war Trump is having on drugs, a war that should have happened years ago before so many fools dies from using them. A real war not some talk. And it's long over due.

I like Rand for the most part, sometimes he’s dead on. Other times, such as here, he’s dead wrong. This is called a ‘drug war’. Military strikes during wartime don’t require a lengthy trial to verify consequences.

Using a hot button word like "lynching" to spice up his criticism was a ery bad idea. It is a poor analogy, done for shock effect. That's what Dems do.
He is not a serious person.

Rand Paul is often a total PITA, as all are libertarians. I can agree with them about 60-70% of the time, but too often they are way off in la-la land.
