President Donald Trump's frustration with Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell has been ongoing and completely justifiable. He's taken to calling Powell "Too Late" because of his reluctance to cut interest rates.
But, now, finally, Powell has dropped some broad hints that a rate cut may be on the horizon, (Snip) The reaction from the stock market was great, as the Dow Jones soared to its highest point ever.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rallied to an all-time high Friday after Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell signaled the central bank could begin easing monetary policy next month.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed higher by 918 points,

Over time, we have learned that when Democrats and the left have nothing left to fight with, they take their issues into court. They shop whatever they would like to force onto the American people around to a left-leaning Democrat-appointed judge to get the outcome they want. They couldn't stop President Donald Trump's return to the White House, so they figure they will stop anything he tries to do through the court system. It literally took an act of Congress to put the brakes on activist judges, and a few of them continue to issue edicts. But now, Supreme Court Justices have had enough and are speaking out.

As reported earlier, in a huge blow to Letitia James and Biden’s prosecutors, a New York Appeals Court threw out the massive civil fraud penalty against President Trump on Thursday.
New York Attorney General Letitia James lashed out after a New York Appeals Court threw out the $515 million judgement against Trump.
James said she is going to appeal the decision so she can continue to go after Trump.
“The First Department today affirmed the well-supported finding of the trial court: Donald Trump, his company, and two of his children are liable for fraud,” Letitia James said.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer dropped a bombshell on Thursday when he revealed that Ian Sams, the former White House spokesperson who spent years defending Joe Biden’s mental acuity, admitted under oath that he interacted with Biden only twice during his entire tenure. Comer said the revelations cast serious doubt on who was really calling the shots inside the Biden White House.
“Wow. That was probably the most informative transcribed interview we’ve had thus far,” Comer told reporters after Sams’ testimony. “I’ll give Mr. Sams credit — he answered our questions. And one of the most shocking things to me is… he communicated with Joe Biden two times.

When she's not busying painting the border wall black, it looks like Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem could be making plans for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to own and operate its own fleet of airplanes in order to expedite deportations. The idea makes so much sense that even a Biden administration official thinks it's a good idea. [Tweet]
A report popped up Wednesday that Noem was looking to use an influx of cash into ICE, courtesy of the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB), to equip the agency with the equivalent of its own airline

Oh, how smug and sanctimonious the terminally-online left was on Wednesday afternoon when a Washington, D.C.-based reporter posted a video of a Hispanic man being arrested by officers from the Metropolitan Police Department and federal law enforcement agencies. (Snip) Everyone who's not a Democrat was left wondering why this guy was free to roam the streets of D.C. The answer? Steve Descano, commonwealth's attorney for Fairfax County, Virginia, George Soros lackey, and friend to violent illegals. Descano has an appalling record of failing to prosecute violent criminals, and there seems to be a trend of him turning a blind eye to crime committed by illegals.

When Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) decided to start a war over redistricting, he did so without considering any of the unintended consequences.
After Texas drew a congressional map that is still less gerrymandered than those in California, Illinois, and elsewhere, Democrats had a chance to de-escalate (Snip) The thing is, when you start an arms race, you'd better be sure you can outproduce your competition. That's where things are quickly going off the rails for Newsom and his party.
According to President Donald Trump, Missouri is now moving to redistrict, and they are one of several red states expected to join the party.

The bloody results of the Biden administration's open borders just keep getting worse. Especially heinous crimes like the murders of Laken Riley, Rachel Morin, and Joselyn Nungary have shocked the nation. They were completely preventable, and all three should still be alive. But the policies of blue states that encourage and normalize illegal immigrants are being felt in other ways as well. One of those polices is issuing driver's licenses to illegal immigrants, many of whom can't speak or read English. One recent incident is now highlighting just how dangerous this is, and the Department of Transportation has launched an investigation.

On Wednesday, Aug. 20, a federal jury convicted Jinchao Wei, also known as Patrick Wei, of espionage and export violations.
Wei was an active-duty U.S. Navy sailor stationed at Naval Base San Diego when he agreed to sell Navy secrets to a Chinese intelligence officer for $12,000.
The jury deliberated for one day before it convicted Wei of six counts, including conspiracy to commit espionage, espionage, and unlawful export of, and conspiracy to export, technical data related to defense articles in violation of the Arms Export Control Act and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
Court documents say that Wei was a machinist’s mate for the amphibious assault ship U.S.S. Essex.

A New York appeals court Thursday threw out the massive $464 million judgment dealt to President Trump after he was found liable at a civil trial for business fraud.
The Appellate Division, First Department overturned the whopping fine in the case in which Trump, 78, was found to have fraudulently inflated his net worth by billions of dollars over a decade to get better loan and insurance terms.
Trump would have had to pay a total of more than $500 million, including more than $100 million in interest, had the February 2024 ruling from Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron been upheld.
The appeal court’s decision follows a theatric 11-week trial

Wild video shows a Southwest pilot doing standardized field sobriety tasks on a jetbridge before eventually being arrested.
Driving while intoxicated is bad enough, but can you imagine getting on a plane where one of the pilots has been accused of having too many beers before clocking in for work? That was the reality for one plane full of people headed to Chicago from Savannah Hilton Head Airport earlier this year, when pilot David Paul Allsop was pulled off the flight after a member of the TSA reported having seen him appear intoxicated before boarding.

Social media bid “adios amigos” as an alleged illegal alien TikToker known for doxxing ICE operations was arrested during a livestream.
Clout chasing came with consequences this week in Los Angeles when attempts to restore law and order, along with national sovereignty, reached the “find out” stage for a TikToker who’d spent too much time “f*ing around” with law enforcement. Tatiana Martinez, an influencer with the Colombian flag in her Instagram bio known for encouraging disruption of immigration enforcement, was seen being hauled out of a Tesla and taken into custody.
“The number of TikTok influencers who are here illegally would shock you,”
