The question should how many other such illegal aliens have been given commercial or regular driver’s licenses by the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats without ever have gone through legitimate required US driver training and are out there today on the Interstate highways driving huge vehicles such as 18 wheelers? Who are the owners of the trucking company who would hire illegal aliens who cannot speak or understand English able to read and understand English and able to understand the road signs. I would not be surprised if those owners were not also from the illegal alien’s country of origin. Clearly the leftist, progressive and socialist Democrats at both the federal level during the Biden Administration and in the Democrat States do not want any illegal aliens to be arrested and deported from the USA. Instead those Democrat want all illegal aliens to be put on “paths” to US citizenship expect that the vast majority of today’s illegal aliens who originate in Third World countries and are poor and generally uneducated low wage earning individuals would transition into future Democrat supporters and voters. If all Third World origin illegal aliens could could simply stay in the USA once they claim that they are afraid to return to their home counties that would amount to unlimited millions of illegal aliens simply getting to stay in the USA, India alone could send a billion of their unwanted poor and uneducated population to the USA.

So, hunt down the INDIVIDUALS who issued the California and the Washington state CDLs and put them into jail from their crimes.

Because the owner and insurer of this rig is going to pay many millions for the tragic and unnecessary death of the victims.

There are both criminal and civil penalties under federal law for employers who do not complete the Form I-9 process for each person who they hire, along with greater criminal and civil penalties under federal law for employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens. As far as the illegal alien’s employer in this case, that employer may also be the owner of the 18 wheeler involved or a trucking company, the identity of that person or persons has not yet been made public. But what if that employer, or owner, when the identity is made public turns out to be originally also from India? Chances are if there is an actual trucking company involved, that they will immediately file for bankruptcy to evade any future judicial monitory judgement against them.

Insurance or not, the trucking company is toast. As some have said, the surviving families should also sue the states who gave this reckless, incompetent driver a CDL. I am no fan of ambulance chasing attorneys but this will be a gold mine for the ones who get to represent the families. Dozens are probably on the way now to try to sign them up. I don't know about other states but in Georgia, the minimum limits to put an interstate truck on the road was a million dollars. That won't last long in this case.

I'm sure that most of us have seen zillions of ads for sleazy lawyers looking for clients who have been killed or injured in commercial truck accidents. These guys ooze slime. But in this case, I hope that the grieving survivors of these victims find the sleaziest, ooziest one and make the trucking company's life hell, which at the same time taking a minimal fee for their efforts.
