Justice Gorsuch Smacks Lower Courts Back
Into Reality for Continuing to Defy SCOTUS Rulings

Original Article

Over time, we have learned that when Democrats and the left have nothing left to fight with, they take their issues into court. They shop whatever they would like to force onto the American people around to a left-leaning Democrat-appointed judge to get the outcome they want. They couldn't stop President Donald Trump's return to the White House, so they figure they will stop anything he tries to do through the court system. It literally took an act of Congress to put the brakes on activist judges, and a few of them continue to issue edicts. But now, Supreme Court Justices have had enough and are speaking out.

Comments:

Congress needs to start removing these radical leftist judges, particularly when they defy the USSC.

These "ladies" and "gentlemen" who defy the Supreme Court should be removed. Immediately and permanently. They know better, it is a deliberate act against the Administration. They tried a coup it didn't work, now they go after our laws.

They will keep doing it because there are no consequences for disregarding SCOTUS. And they figure it might get them a promotion in the next democrat administration.

When these lower court justices try to reimpose their edicts after they have been overruled by a superior court, they are trying to usurp the authority and showing contempt fot that superior court. There should be strict penalties for such bad behavior. So far, all they are only being told “naughty, naughty don’t do it again.” As a result, they keep doing it.

Why even have a Supreme Court if its rulings are repeatedly ignored? The appellate process is expensive and time consuming. The cost of reversals should come out of the lower courts budget and the offending judge's salary.

Congress should enact a 3 strikes and you are out system. If a judge flagrantly ignores a SCOTUS ruling, they earn a strike. If they get three, they are sent to the Senate for impeachment hearings. This would fast track the process past the House and go right to an impeachment trial. Further, any judge carrying strikes earned in the last 5 years should NOT be eligible for promotion within the court system. Judges are supposed to rule based on law. When SCOTUS has ruled on the subject already, there is no further appeal. The lower court judge's opinion in objection is meaningless.

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson invoked a popular comic strip in an angry dissent, accusing her colleagues of being in the bag for President Donald J. Trump. The left-winger who was appointed by disgraced former President Joe Biden to fulfill his pledge to put a black woman on the SCOTUS has repeatedly shown that she lacks the intellect and temperament for the job with her emotional antics. Not that another example was needed, but Jackson served it up anyway, describing the court’s latest overruling of an activist lower court judge who blocked the ending of DEI-based grants at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as “Calvinball.”

Two people have been charged with murder for the fentanyl death of a toddler in March in Leavenworth, Kansas. “The Leavenworth Police Department arrested 40-year-old Tara Huerta on Friday. The Kansas City Police Department arrested Kenneth Hedgecock, 34, days later,” WTVM reported. The arrests occurred after a 3-year-old was found unresponsive in Huerta and Hedgecock’s apartment in March and was transported to a hospital. The child ultimately did not survive, and a May 29 autopsy report revealed the toddler died of acute fentanyl toxicity.

Representative Al Green, who has served Texas’s 9th Congressional District since 2005, will finally leave office. The Texas Legislature, led by Republicans, passed a legal redrawing of congressional maps that effectively eliminates District 9. Green, best known not for legislation but for shouting down President Trump during his address to Congress in March 2025, will be removed from office after nearly two decades of loud, ineffective, and divisive politics. Unsurprisingly, Rep. Al Green called the redistricting racist. But the only racial injustice here is the Democrat Party’s decades-long abuse of district lines to cling to power.
