It’s over. Texas has a new congressional map for the 2026 midterms, though it took over two weeks after state Democrats unnecessarily fled to prevent a quorum. The new map gives Republicans five winnable seats, all majority Hispanic districts. Democrats could’ve said, ‘ok, let’s fight for these voters who are gettable,’ but they decided to make a hash out of it. First, the messaging was abysmal, coupled with the fact that no one cared. Even the legacy press said these Texas Democrats ran away. They were off message from the get-go.

The flurry of paperwork for subsequent lawsuits will result in cataclysmic deforestation. And the C02 levels will drop, causing a new ice age. And all of us will die.

They should have redistricted 15 so they come out with 5 after the courts get through re-districting the legislature's redistricting.

May the howling continue. It keeps the dems' focus off the fact that have no candidates worth voting for.

In the Peoples Republic of Colorado, the Denver deep state is attempting to re-draw a key congressional district currently held by US House Rep. Lauren Boebert. The dims want her out in the worst way. And the dims are hoping that most illegals in her district don't self-deport before the November election.

First time I can recall that Texas Republicans actually called a spade a frikkin shovel, voted as a bloc, and did the right thing.
If Dade Phelan were still in charge, this would have never happened.
Paxton for the US Senate!

Perhaps now, our Great State of Texas, can finally rid itself of a foul-mouthed, carpet-bagging, girls'-school black-brat / ghetto-crossover, dimwit who thinks it's "funny" that our Republican Governor suffered a spinal cord injury when a large tree branch fell on him rendering him a paraplegic. Who then has the unmitigated gall of referring to him as "Gov. Hot Wheels," and, "hot mess," which, for those whose "Keshawn's Ghetto Lexicon" has "mysteriously" gone missing, means a pile of human excrement, as in toddlers'.
You might want to clean up your act and make amends for some of your past indiscretions "Gurl," because "Karma" is known for playing strange games on people.

I wish for there to be disclaimers on EVERY American ballot to identify:
1) Candidates who have been Residents of the State for less than 5 years, i.e. "carpet baggers."
2) Candidates who currently hold "dual" citizenship, and to which non-USA country.
3) Candidates must "check-the-box" on whether they support the following:
i) Congressional Term Limits,
ii) Congressional Benefits Reductions,
iii) Making permanent the Trump-Musk DOGE Process,
iv) Continuous Deportation of ANY Persons who has:
1) failed to assimilate into American culture,
2) made NO effort to learn to read and speak English,
3) made no effort to seek gainful employment, but instead remains on Gov't assistance,
4) ANYONE who has committed State or Federal Felonies, post-naturalization.
