Maine Teacher Sparks Outrage With Calls

In a shocking display of unchecked political hostility, a Maine high school teacher has openly called for the Secret Service to “take out” President Donald Trump and members of his administration. This dangerous rhetoric, which would be unthinkable if aimed at any other president, underscores the growing culture of violence and intolerance on the left. In a series of Facebook posts, JoAnna St. Germain, an English teacher at Waterville High School in Maine, wrote that she believes “Trump and every sycophant he has surrounded himself with needs to die.” She then compared the president to Adolf Hitler

Comments:

When you look up "Trump Derangement Syndrome", there is a picture of JoAnna St. Germain. Hopefully the Secret Service will do its job and have her arrested.

I am so sick of these people. The left is fascist b/c of its intolerance. Period. End of story. What we accomplished in 2024 isnot enough. We must make everyone see how intolerant and fascist he left is. Call it out every minute of every day. We are not doing enough to spread the word. We must do more. To paraphrase: "First they came for Trump, and I said nothing. Then they came for his cabinet, and I said nothing. Then they came for me."

I’m glad she’s vocal about what she wants. That way she’s easy to identify. The problem is, someone even more unhinged than her will actually try to take out PDJT 2.0. She needs to be fired, incarcerated, and treated for mental illness.

The Democrats are keeping this up because they want Trump dead. I guess this is their are idea of giving him his constitutional rights.

She really is mentally ill. Michael Savage was not underestimating the sickness that liberalism really is when he started warning his listeners of this 20 years ago. The teacher learned this mindset in college, no doubt. It is not normal. It occurs to me teacher education schools were once called “Normal Schools”. Now, colleges of education are abnormal schools. And “abnormal psychology” must be “normal psychology”.

#14. I live in central Maine. Most of the insanity of Maine is concentrated within 20 miles of the coast. Wealthy, liberal out of state people live there. Most of Maine beyond that is quite conservative. The Second Congressional District voted for Trump three times. Democrats foisted Ranked Choice Voting on us and have stymied referendum attempts to repeal it. Democrats in the state legislature are predominantly “from away” and they have a slim majority. They literally don’t talk t o Republicans in House and Senate.

From a search: "It is a felony under federal law to intentionally “solicit, command, induce, or otherwise endeavor to persuade” another person to engage in a crime of violence against a person or property. 18 U.S.C. § 373. Many states have similar laws." Seems pretty cut and dried to me. She called for an assassination of Trump by federal agents (Secret Service). Too bad for her but she should be made into a public example. There ARE limits to speech AND public behavior. They should be enforced.

This surprising shift in the political landscape highlights the growing power of the far-left faction within the Democratic Party as Ocasio-Cortez continues to build her base among younger, more progressive voters. Schumer, long seen as the establishment figure in New York and national politics, now faces a growing challenge from within his own party, signaling that even the most entrenched political figures could be vulnerable.

common talking point trotted out to defend congressional Republicans’ failure to advance conservative priorities is that the party has slim majorities, and therefore, trying to pass anything outside of the usual “uniparty” slop is next to impossible. On Wednesday, the GOP-controlled Texas House — which is run by liberal Republican Speaker Dustin Burrows — passed a bill that effectively seeks to criminalize the posting and distribution of certain altered media in political advertising.
